l love you ron

Jordan Greenan

Ron’s already good looking. The results after the training arc are going to be crazy

Ace Sui

ive always felt this even though i work out now but i still feel miserable

Tacosareneat

Bro you're not vain or shallow AT ALL. I struggle with body dysmorphia myself. It's fucking horrible. It's all about just trying. Sometimes you fall off the diet and lifting routine and that's OKAY. You look amazing 👌🏼 also super jealous of your hair and tats 😩

PG Modehouse

Ron, for what it's worth, I wish I looked like you.

Keegan

I’ll join the main character club. I’m in the same boat as you

Victor

We’re getting jacked boys! But fr I’ve been there. I don’t really like working out just to work out tho. Luckily I found bouldering fun and, not only am I improving my climbing skills, I’m also making progress towards my personal body goals. Gl brother

KvnSancheezy

This is a sign for me to, I want to improve myself since Ive been getting more lazy which I hate, I need to improve especially since Im a reservist in the army and signed up to be a firefighter

David Jaegers

Every time during my bulk I feel more insecure, needing to rely more on my intrinsic values instead of the exterior, just know ur not alone..

LeNiarfe

It’s crazy how much I can relate to you at the moment. I been feeling stuck for the past months, maybe year. It’s not the first time it has happened, I have had these moments where I snap out, I wake up at 6am, go running, meditate, work on my passions and I feel great, but then I get discouraged and I fall back on the hole. So I’ve been on the hole again for a while now and I’m starting to try to get out of it again. And I can’t complain, I got a good paying job, I got a roof, got a car, I am not in a bad place, but physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, I know I can be in a better place, so I am not happy in that aspect. So yeah, as well as you and many other out there, I feel you man. We aren’t getting any younger, so there is no better time than now. I send you the best energy bro, as the same to everyone out there that needs that extra motivation. Be the best version of yourself, find your happiness! Let’s do this shit! 💪🏼

Retro

no worries man i feel u just gotta get back to that routine you got it

Jake Turner

I completely understand the feeling of not being satisfied with the way I look sometimes but tbh when I work out now I think about your instagram posts at the gym and think that's what I'm trying to look like lol

The CulturedGentleman

Ron - one of the reasons why I first resonated with you and this channel is because I see a lot of similarities with myself. I used to do competitive swimming back in college and ive always been VERY active my whole life. I have NEVER had any substantial amount of body fat in my life. I got a promotion at my job last year and since then, my life has been extremely stable and Ive been really content. For the first time in my life I allowed myself to relax, to live in the moment and to treat myself and just be happy. The result of that is that I lost my drive, I lost motivation, I got soft, I dont feel that "hunger" anymore to be a fkn BEAST! Last week I looked in the mirror - and I felt so ashamed of what I saw staring back at me. For the first time I have some lower stomach fat and my 6pack had disappeared. I dont expect everyone to get this, but if you are someone that lives a life of fitness, that shit is like a Nightmare to me. So now im determined asf to get rid of it ALL! I love myself FAR too much to allow myself to ever let go ever again to look like this! Im approaching my fitness going forward like my LIFE depends on it! My hunger for those results I am going for is BURNING in me right now! I live a single life - by choice - so I have full control of how much time I dedicate to everything - especially women. Just started back in the gym, todays workout was extremely Brutal, but with the pain comes a greater satisfaction knowing I pushed myself to the limit without Injury. You doing this could be an even greater source of inspiration to myself and people like us. I think thats the most important trait of a main character - leading by example while helping those that follow them and in turn is helped by their success to go even further. I apologize for the essay lol :) this is just something im really passionate about

Tristan

Coming from a disordered background myself, this would 100% look like an ED or body dysmorphia to the average person. You don’t even have average fat levels and, yet, your mind is already how it is now? You don’t see that as a problem, too?

Luke Crompton

I was in the same situation bro. Similar background, let myself go due to work/partners etc. I'm extremely hard on myself, and expect the very best or i sink into the pits. Key words here are Lifestyle change. Thinking long term. What's your next 2-3 workout programs look like. Staying 2 steps ahead of your diets/workouts etc. You're on the path bro. Go get it. *tip I do 4 weeks on 1 week off cycles to reset my mind and let my body recover.

Montanna Roberts

Ron how the fuck are you chunky but still got the V line? Thats wild lmao, bro definitely got some build under there, just needs to work it off. Calorie deficit brother! Just got done with a 2.5 mile run this morning! You got this!

defnotdai

I swear it's always swimsuit photos that feel like the biggest slap in the face lol Nah but fr, I 100% get where you're coming from Ron. People will often look at you and be like "you're not even fat" "I think you look great", but they don't understand it's not all about what they think. They don't understand you're not doing everything for the perception of others. You have to want to improve for yourself before anyone else. And so just because you or anyone else isn't morbidly obese doesn't mean you should feel pressured to settle for a body you're not confident in. I think I might try 75 hard too. Right now, I'm trying to lose 15-20lbs by September. I started in late May.

Michelle Lam

means a lot, but i would love for you to also love how you feel about yourself

Michelle Lam

dam i love this! I enjoy bouldering too. may need to look into that!

Michelle Lam

yah at a gym with a pump and a shirt on, is totally different. I am trying to reach a new level

Michelle Lam

bro, lets do it together. I know you will feel better about yourself, which will give you more energy, and snowball positive momentum in life

Michelle Lam

bro this hit home! Lets go. I know we can all get to where we want and will prove to ourselves we can. I am si hyped for this journey ngl. Its a lifestyle

Michelle Lam

i cant say if it is or isnt body dysmorphia. But i also feel like there is way more "grey" than black and white. I just am used to a certain standard for myself. Is that a problem? Hard to say lol

Michelle Lam

love this! and yes that is exactly my mentality. I am looking to create a lifestyle change not just a quick fix/hack. Thinking long term and pumped about it

defnotdai

Does anyone have any book recommendations

Chilè

big nate

Piranhaconda

I definetly feel you but idk. That project, Rice and Ginger, Vlogs AND the conent creator help group. That sounds like a LOT at onve which can quickly effect other areas and make it worse

PumpDaddyD

Bro..... I had felt the same way. I'm not married or anything but the mentality af unmotivated and age too kinda got me last year. But around March I got into a Lil program and oddly enough it's kettlebell that is great you can hit many areas with just kettle bell like swings, goblin squats etc. Program was 3days a week and an hr but it was not easy since rest is only a min but I did not mind that challenge once body got acustumed or basically reverted back to how I was years ago I added my own time plus the program. It really detoxify negativity that surrounds your motivation and inspiration vibe. At the start it was challenging mentally to not be a couch potato well I do work so more a less it that mentality of (oh I'm tired after work and we'll just sit around) but what you are feeling at that moment is valid it is the 1st step of that mindset to the right path to wellness and inspiration. It's like a click in the brain. In all honesty you should schedule yourself in what helps your current schedule. Like for me the weekdays my job is actually 20min jog so I just jog to work instead of driving. And during lunch I jog back ho.e eat lunch and drive back since after work I go straight to the program. Weekends I have off except from house chores in stuff. But every morning I do basic push ups and stretches but lately I've been adding to the push-ups like different variants and sets since gotta push the body more and more. But yea gotta schedule things within how your other schedule is like. But at same time not over stress yourself mentally. Because the hardest thing is consencisy in a long run just have to over come that and keep a nice flow.

GentleCrank

Ron, my man. I appreciate all the things that you want to do for the community, but don't overdo it, man. I don't want you to be worn out after doing so many things at the same time. You're already helping lots of people with your reactions alone, including me. I went through quite a difficult time before I discovered you guys, but you 2 and Sushi Squad helped me through that.

Amadou Sagna

Is there like an IG groupchat to post self improvement? Preferably man and women separate GCs of course…

Saith D. Uchiha

When it comes to insecurity. I haven’t felt insecure body wise since I was 14. Last year I got depressed and went from 160lbs in just a year. I was working out a lot now I feel “ugly”. I’m now 260lbs with stretch marks all across my body now I’m insecure about taking my shirt off. Same goes with women I don’t feel comfortable having relations. Ron I can tell your in pain. I wish you the best Ron. I hope you feel better. Life is rough.
