4:15 this scene isn't filler. This is a canon flashback that we are seeing for the first time. But from 5:34 onwards y'all have seen before, don't think you remember but it was a while ago. They were just showing how the 4 tails lost against Kisame & him getting captured. Kakashi's lightning cable was lit af and the way him and Guy sensei came in the clutch for Naruto. Dream team. Loved the convo between Kurama and the 8 tails lol

Funny you mention Dragon Ball for the Four Tails. While both Goku (from DB) and Four Tails are ultimately based on Sun Wukong (from Journey to the West) the Four Tails is actually more of a nod to Dragon Ball (Four Tails is a monkey, has the same number of tails as Goku's grandpas four star dragon ball, the jinchuriki's name is Roshi which is a nod to Master Roshi)

"wait why is bee the only one who can cooperate with his tailed beast?" idk might have something to do with the village hidden in the clouds having the most knowledge about jinchuriki and a waterfall and training area plus a whole pocket dimension all dedicated towards mastering their jinchuriki. But no the reason is two-fold: all the other tailed beasts (apart from the ninetails) are exponentially easier to contain in a host. Remember kushina was selected for her family's INSANE sealing jutsu and her INSANE chakra reserves. The eight tails is similarly awful to control - remember when Bee flashed back to the jinchuriki before him - none of the 8 tails jinchuriki could survive very long, so the village in the clouds had to dedicated a lot of resources to discovering how hosts can NATURALLY maintain the 8 tails; remember there was a lot of tension with the village in the leaf and likely they didn't have a solid means of communicating with the uzumaki clan to get their hands on either sealing jutsu THAT powerful or a wife they could marry into the clan to use as a host. So the village in the clouds was burning through jinchuriki like titan shifters, and every iteration they were learning how to train the hosts to synergize with them. That's why naruto had to go TO the village hidden in the clouds and learn to harness his tailed beast from Bee himself. If you think way back to the beginning of naruto, remember gaara was a jinchuriki with no training, and he was able to keep the one tails at bay simply by being awake. He had no sealing jutsu like naruto and didn't build up his body like killer bee. For all intents and purposes jinchuriki-wise, gaara is just a regular dude and for the most part he didn't have much trouble except when he was asleep. Most of the tailed beast are like that - they can dominate the tailed beast well enough that they don't have a NEED to synergize with them so they never bothered, or even knew there was a benefit to it

Ron, that voice changing thing is incorrect. Idk who told you that, but it has never been confirmed that voice-changing is a shinobi skill. The only person we have seen doing it is Yamato, who just likely happened to be good at it. I wont explain how Tobi does it, because of spoilers. But let me just say, that "voice-changing" is not a shinobi skill by any means. Definitely nothing like substitution or transformation. Fun fact: The 4 tails, Son Gokū, is actually inspired by Son Wukong, the “ape king” in Chinese mythology. This is also what DBZ’s Son Goku is inspired from. Naruto’s mangaka “Kishimoto” was a huge fan of the DBZ series and it’s mangaka “Toriyama” (RIP). The 4 tails and it’s Jinchuriki are also a reference to the DBZ series, with their respective names, “Great ape” appearance, and Son Gokū being the 4 tails, as a reference to the 4-star DragonBall (the first Dragonball that Goku owned in the series)

The jinchuriki is named Roshi that is not a character in journey to the west if you've ever read it or gotten familiar to the lore. The number 4 and giant ape thing are not significant in journey to the west either. Wukong can shape-shift and giant monkey isn't exactly the most prominent of his abilities 😂 Also kishimoto has talked about it in interviews and he's a much bigger dragon ball fan than most people. Masashi kishimoto if you look it up literally owns a life size frieza statue he kept in his office. Entire pictures of it
