Personally something I struggle with is wanting to me liked by everyone. Hate feeling like I’m even just a little bit of a bother. Like even if I don’t know them & feel that way I overthink the whole thing

We just have to pause and bask in what we have, we can have a goal.. but if we don't stop to smell the roses they die and dry up while were looking for the fertilizer to keep them thriving.

I've definitely thought about it a lot. Happiness never lasts, thus constantly chasing it never made any sense to me. What we really chase is fulfillment, and it just so happens to come along with instances of happiness. You're fulfilled if you reach a LASTING/PERMANENT life goal; monetary status, a settled family, a satisfying career, a wealthy business, etc. The only reason anybody never feels fulfilled is because of an innate sense of greed or unchecked enviousness. If you can deal with those, fulfillment should be the goal. Unfortunately, happiness never lasts. That's just the way life is. There's always going to be a next problem, whether it be physically, mentally, emotionally, or even spiritually. The sooner you accept the reality of that, the little bit more easier your mind rests.

my personal take on this after battling suicidal depression for around 2 years was to stop chasing happiness and any of the other intense but fleeting emotions that we normally keep chasing. building a daily routine filled with things that I genuinely like doing, keeping time for self growth, for introspection, for gratitude and focusing on peace rather than happiness changed my world. going from intense desire to end myself to now living my best life with a full heart, wholesome loving caring people surrounding me, my days so full of things i like that I look forward to waking up every morning. Peace instead of happiness was the answer that worked for me :)

a familly, might sound cliché i know it's not happyness forever but it's what would give me the strenght to fight for even more happyness it's just what my life led up to , i think there is happyness to be chassed, but i just think it's not the right word i think it's more of a being in peace finding a place in life where you have thing to help you keep fighting and thing to keep working on so that you always try to become a little bit better, pain is always there even with money love or even nothing , be it fair or unfair it'll hit you, but it'll make you grow too, you'll always have moment to grown and i think life is about that it's about having no regret thinking at the end that you did what you could and you'r happy that you tried , it's easy to get obsess and feel like you are nothing without goal but it's also easy to feel lost because you don't specially want anything there is not easy answerd exept just putting your heart into your life when you can i'll hurt , i'll make you happy , i'll make you sad, i'tll make you feel empty but it's worth it to just try even if it's not everyday not even every year you should try sometime, it'll make life a bit more special because it's special for the better or the worst it's the only adventure we have after all we only live once

Happyness for me is an outlook on life. Happy people have struggles, responsibilities and regrets. What makes them happy is their ability to look at life positively. For some people, the ability to be happy is a huge challenge. It takes time to change how your brain works. The key is about understanding yourself and that's a journey for some.

I have never experienced being happy for a full day, or even half a day. Happiness is fleeting at best, I don't even care about making friends or being liked by anyone I just want to be left alone ffs, but cunt assholes cant even do that

Something I’ve learned from addiction and other experiences is that chasing happiness leaves you unfulfilled but pursuing a life or purpose actually makes you happy. A meaningful life is something that never stops. You’re definitely right about finding happiness in the pursuit instead of making that the actual goal 💯
