Id skipped the fillers the first time around coz it was listed as fillers, but I'm really glad I watched them this time. Ep 362 really shined because I had seen how Naruto and his team had saved Kakashi from his darkness, and Naruto basically reminded him of that now.

Kakashi backstory is canon but information aren't direct but scatterer through out the series like in Game of Thrones in series John's mother is out right told but in Books it's not that direct. So for manga reader which are HARDCORE fans it create space for speculations but for anime watcher...(and I love that)

I never feel that previous episodes (kakashi-yamato-itachi story) are "filler episodes". for me, it's just a flashback. It is a filler (not in the manga), but doesn't feel like it. A filler is like when someone who has already gone one episode but is somehow still in the village on the next episode, eating ramen and doing pranks and stuff like he never left.

Now some of those future 'fillers' will just like these Kakashi ones, maybe not true manga, but still informative & super emotional. I was hoping they'd react to it post war but due to the way they integrated the flashbacks in-between a Canon war arc episode and then part of another, it would be tougher to skip since they would need to pause when Canon ends and then skip to 458 and go to middle-end of episode for the Canon stuff.... Although I prefer the Itachi ones more than the Kakashi ones.
