Let's remember what chakras original purpose was according to the sage of six paths, it was to connect people through a shared bond. The bond Obito, Kakashi and Rin had in a way manifested through their chakra which is why she in a sense showed up there. I believe that she appeared there because of that link even if only for a brief moment and that's how they both were able to sense her presence. The entire culmination of this show has been about peace and unity through understanding of shared bonds.

Actually respect to reading the manga because it has more details than the show. It's certain times in the show the things we are seeing did not happen in the manga and itself is some filler its just really good with what is going on if that makes sense. I think the topic of watching the boruto movie and the show itself should start being brought up. It’s either they watch the show and maybe the movie after the show takes place since it’s in the show. Or… the movie first and they experience it the same as we all did. Me personally. I say the movie before they even start the show. Almost like a to look forward to the show. Cause I’m sure we can all agree the movie was better. And we all watched it before the show came. I think it would make them look forward to the show more than anything. Mods please and sushi squad. Let’s discuss this. The way I view the scene with Rin "pulling" Obito and Kakashi's hands is the same way I see the scene of Jiraya grabbing Naruto's shoulder after he died. It sort of implies that people in the after life of this universe can choose to watch over living people.

guys don't jump me but i personally find these two episodes so painful to watch, not because they're sad, but because of all the flashbacks. i get the impact they were trying to make with Obito in his final moments, but gahdamn i just feel like they really dragged it OUT. kinda reminded me of those DBZ episodes where they take 5 episodes to power up 😭 RIP to Obito though, he was a real one 💔

Dude, DB got popular off those first story arcs up to the King piccolo arc, the series had a massive impact on manga sales in general, and established it's fan base. No one would have watched DBZ if DB hadn't caught the audience. By that point people were hooked and stopping to take whatever slop was thrown their way. Don't project your personal feelings onto reality, the manga wasn't even divided into separate series, that was an anime only marketing ploy. By the time the anime gets to the android arc the story and characters have lost all the life that was left in them, with most of them having been rendered pointless to the story way before then (Tien Shinhan for example and yamcha). Toriyama couldn't even keep Krillin relevant (a travesty given his story with Goku) because Toriyama didn't know how to contain power creep in his story. His only method of upping the stakes of a fight is to say "and this guy is EVEN STRONGER." Honestly the series is mid, toriyama had a bad habit of sidelining characters and sometimes just forgetting them entirely, and there's little exploration of the characters beyond the king piccolo arc. Pretty much just piccolo gets any good character development and that peters out as well.
