Okay okay.. so there is quite a bit to dissect here. Lemme not drop a whole glaze comment for once and actually talk about something 😭🙏 (this is coming from an anime/manga reader. Not gonna say anything too revealing). 1. PEAK LOCK. Animation was superb, everything you could want as a manga reader you got from this episode (may be subjective). I’m hella glad they went all out for the hypest moments of the match and in the manga. Hope y’all (non-manga readers) enjoyed it just as much. 2. Yes there will be a blue lock season 3, it’s confirmed (if anybody needed that confirmation but it’s pretty obvious). The date hasn’t been stated yet but some are going around saying that it may happen during the next World Cup in order to maximize the amount of hype, merch, etc. (June-July 2026) 3. My glorious king Rin’s flow has been revealed! (The introduction to Rin being a D1 crashout every game 😭😭) So yeah to explain this with slight vagueness. The U20 match introduces Rin’s “Berserker Mode” or “Destroyer Flow”. (His destructive aura & Iconic hanging tongue) This heightened state allows rin to harness his destructive instincts, enhancing his performance by twofolds. As stated by the other characters (fodder), rin purposely draws out a player’s best skill only to then essentially beat them at their own game. To explain the whole tongue thing, there’s scientific reasoning as to why he does this during his rampage (flow). It is stated by sources online and I quote, “There are several theories regarding this behavior, but the most popular scientific explanation is that it reflects a person's focus. The part of the brain associated with focus overlaps with the area related to speech. So, when a person is focused and pressure builds in the focus area, the speech area also gets triggered, leading to the person protruding their tongue out.” Short answer: Micheal Jordan 🗣️‼️🔥 4. I think Isagi earns the title of “HIMsagi” after this match. We’ve seen him thrive before but this is where he devours the big stage and blasts himself into the next galaxy. Until he’s inevitably humbled 😹😹😹 (love him tho. My goat Shidou would never get humbled like that, just saying 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️) 5. Y’all skipped the second end credit scene where it reveals THE character from the next arc (Neo Egoist League) 😢😿. No worries though, without saying too much I think a comparison would be to call him the Itoshi Sae of the forward position. MY GOAT.. THE BLUE ROSE.. 🙇🏽‍♂️🙇🏽‍♂️🙇🏽‍♂️ Not a crazy spoiler, but for anime watchers, this man MK is known as “God’s Chosen Emperor” 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩. God he’s so glorious.. and precious.. But yeah, the manga is peak. The anime is peak. Thanks for reacting to this season y’all. 😹🙏

My understanding of what sae said about using him as an excuse is that rin only got into soccer because sae is playing. If he wasn’t then rin would of never played as for sae he chose soccer him self without following someone
