This movie i think its good because of their love story and the slice of life thing, personally didnt like the rest. But Naruto its just a master piece, growing up watching Naruto every week, its a time of my life i will nourish forever and when i have a kid ill make him or her watch every fucking episode ahah. The manga cannon its peak yes. We cant say the same about the anime, i watched a lot and its really really really hard to get through. Boruto an anime from 2017 its ranked a 6.0 voted by users at myanimelist. Naruto Shippuden has 8.27 voted by more then 1.7M users. The community dont lie. I think everyone that love Naruto should just read the manga, skip the anime.

Sitting bawling at the exact same time as Michelle lol, for different reasons though. I'm just so happy that Boruto is such a great story right now and that there's still so much discourse around the Naruto universe. It genuinely brings a warmth to my heart and I love that manga so much. That was the scene that initiated Boruto's story and that's why I have such a strong connection to it. For a more staying to the time line watch through yes, however it doesnt hurt them watching it at this point. The Manga's final chapter was Nov 2014 and only covered the last episode they watched. This movie came out Dec 2014 so they bescally got the experience most people did.

Great reaction! I love this movie so much even if it can fall into some cheesy territory lol. It's so heartwarming to see Naruto become a man and finally get his much-deserved family. Naruhina was my first real ship so this movie was gratifying asl for me. I was the same age as Naruto at the beginning of Part 1 when I first started watching the show and throughout Shippuden I was a similar age at some of the milestones. So I was also the same age as him when this movie came out. I literally grew up with that bratty little orphan🧡. I have an attachment to his story, it's probably why I have to keep reliving it through reactors lol. Anyway amazing reaction, it was everything I wanted and more. I'm excited for you guys to see the rest of the stories and look back on the openings and endings, watch some other movies, play Ninja Storm, etc. Even outside of Boruto, there's still so much to explore with this world and characters!

Watch Boruto: Naruto the Movie (after the last few episodes of Naruto). It is also CANON, because they basically just break the movie up into episodes as the first mini arc of the boruto season 1. Kind of like how MUGEN TRAIN was just remade in episode format (but was better as a movie) the production value and pacing is better!

Um no? This movie was meant to be after the war arc and before Sasuke's arc. His design in the arc is the same as it is in boruto. It's canonically in order this way.

naruto and hinata aren’t together in sasukes arc so the movie is after sasukes arc. everything that comes after sasukes arc is after the movie. sasukes character design in his arc is nothing like his character design in boruto. his hair’s different, cloaks different even down to his clothes under his cloak. A simple google search would tell u the correct order. watching naruto and really paying attention would also do that.

If you guys aren't going to react to Boruto (which pretty much is a terrible sequel and i don't recommend it), i suggest watching Shippuden 494-500 and then close it off with Boruto the Movie , that is the perfect way to end Naruto series imo.

Boruto anime is very good imo when it comes to canon material, it has its downfalls and gets talked down to oblivion bc its 80% filler and most if not all the filler isnt even worth the watch. but when it comes to canon its still very good, boruto true blue vortex will change the game and hopefully put boruto on the map he is too cool

As for the filler part, it’s not 90% filler, a lot of the beginning of boruto is adapted from the gaiden manga and the boruto novels. I feel like the first ep was a mistake in Boruto. It is soo far in the futur anime wise that we expect to reach that point quickly when its not. Its like starting og Naruto with Naruto and Sasuke final fight. In Boruto manga the pacing is good so you get close to the turning point easily but in the anime we were feed the big fight than the first min of the First ep which make it hard for people to give the show a Chance because they became impatient.

Masashi kishimoto wrote the entire story of Boruto with enough room for interpretation to letter ikimoto his chosen successor be able to write in his own plots and take away moments. Peak reaction, this was also my favorite movie/episode of naruto for real. it's simply beautiful and I can't wait for Boruto, I also got mixed feelings it has some badass moment but it also has some meh moments, so don't really focus and listen to other ppls opinions. just watch it and come to your own conclusion. I'm one of the people that didn't get into Boruto. I don't think it was necessarily that I thought it sucked or anything like that. It was fun to see the future generation at first. But then I just felt like I wasn't interested it in at some point. It felt like it was dragging and nothing kept me hooked. I kind of remember being unimpressed with the art direction too. It felt like even the original Naruto series looked better. I thought that after almost 40 episodes, that was a fair shot. But now that I'm looking the episode lists again, only five of them were "manga canon". So I don't know. I might try to pick it up again and maybe only watch the manga canon if the anime canon starts to become uninteresting. You guys might enjoy it more though.

I know a lot of shippers love this movie, but is the worst in terms of what it does to canon, its full of plot holes and character assassinations: Naruto doing shadow clones in the flashback, before stealing the scroll and normal cloning jutsu being confirmed as his worst jutsu in fricking episode 1...not even that they couldn't get right. Naruto is immune to genjutsu after becoming a perfect jinchuriki, yet gets put in genjutsu and wakes up last, lol. Naruto's feeling for Sakura being retconned into him liking her because of Sasuke's rivalry, which is beyond dumb, it was never about that in the entire manga and anime run. Naruto and Hinata's entire love story being another retcon, Naruto never really acknowledged her feelings up until this movie, not in part one when she just considered her weird, not after her confession in Pain arc(a lot of it anime filler), definitely not after holding hands in the war arc and 3 seconds later telling his father Sakura is his girlfriend. Lets not forget Naruto can feel anyone's feelings, so this bulshit that he didn't know how she felt about him until the blushing genjutsu here is also a lie/retcon. The convenient genjutsu showing him her memories is such a shitty plot device, instead of building the relationship in during the time skip and in the course of the movie, they just went with the most on the nose plot device and retconned Naruto's feelings during the entire series. What a bunch of crap and a disservice to people that Loved this couple since the start. Hinata being more concerned with the damn scarf than saving her own sister! Naruto giving up after Hinata 'rejected' him. NARUTO, of all people. I have a feeling the mfers in charge of writing this shit haven never watched Naruto, they just had a broad outline of the characters and that was it... And plenty more that are just proof Kishimoto was not involved other than collecting royalties. Cool animations and decent soundtrack, thats about the only good thing about The Last

The feeling when this movie first came out after Shippuden ended was surreal. This movie was the perfect ending to the cycle of hate the show portrayed. Especially for a character like Naruto who never had family. Watching Hinata finally get the guy, and Naruto realizing Hinata was always there for him. The series should have ended here, but money rules everything. Boruto isn't bad, but as you watch it (I'm assuming you guys will) you'll come to a certain conclusion.
