I think you're severely underestimating Eneru here, even after discovering lightning didn't work on Luffy, Eneru was still keeping up with him close combat wise for a while, Luffy was just smart enough to find a way around his Mantra. And I think Eneru is reliant on his Devil Fruit for good reason because its that strong, there's a reason why the arc was built for Luffy being the only counter. I think Eneru easily defeats Lucci and is one of the stronger characters in the series, obviously up until a certain point but that's my take.

@36:30 You guys should have your editor throw in your previous reaction to some of these flashback scenes. Especially with OP there will be a lot of callbacks. Oda weaved such a complex story. For example you could’ve inserted your reaction to Garp from OP live action since you talked about it. Even when you reference other anime you’ve watched, you should throw in that clip. Honestly even with jokes you guys make. I feel like there’s some untapped comedic content in adding some fun edits instead of just straight reaction and corny jokes (sorry Ron). Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy what you currently offer but, Ron claims to be such a go getter then up the quality of the content. Once something is widely adopted by other creators it should be the bare minimum for everyone else getting involved in similar content. IMO Idk how many editors you have but maybe you should hire more.

There is definitely a reason for that "punch of love" to have affected Luffy despite him being rubber !!!! Some things are for comedic relief but not that. There is a logical explanation for it but you won't get it until... I think two arcs after this one. Haha sorry, but yeah, keep goingg !

Smoker told Garp about Dragon since he's a Captain in the marines, Garp heard about it because of that at least even if he didn't directly hear it from him. Also they showed the 4th emperor in the silhouette shot of them, they were kind of hidden though in the bottom left portion behind Garp

Honestly, it's not just Luffy's blood family that's insane, it's all of the people he has relations to or sees as family. They're all entwined in like this gigantic web, they all have connections to each other in some way, it's ridiculous. Garp, Dragon, Luffy, Ace, Shanks, Buggy, Gol D. Roger, etc etc. Honestly crazy when you find out more of the crew members' backstories as well because it somehow ties in with so many people Luffy has a connection to lol

I don't think it's wrong the way you guys have been thinking of that lightning that saved Luffy and the storm after as a consequence of someone using some power, whether it be Luffy or his dad or someone else. But I do just wanna say that, that scene could also be seen as a power of nature rather than anything else. Like, to showcase that Luffy can't die here, it's in his FATE to survive and move forward, destiny itself is being written by Luffy when he proclaimed right before it that he's gonna be King of the Pirates! Like some higher power interfered just because he made such an outrageous claim, something that most people would never dare think about. So yeah, just wanted to add that in. That scene always gives me chills lol, every time I get thrilled at the idea that the literal world is being forced to bend to Luffy's will, its so exciting! The willpower of those with D. in their name is unmatched!!!

No spoilers but just my take on the information that's been revealed here, I wouldn't think of Garp as an accomplice to knowing and hiding Dragon in that way? Of course, he knows Dragon is the leader of the Revolutionary Army, but from everyone's reactions it's clear that EVERYONE knows that. My first thought regarding Garp and Dragon's relationship is that they're kind of estranged, or distant, like they aren't on fully close/good terms, y'know? After all, Garp was clearly the one who "raised" Luffy (lol) and that Luffy had never met, seen or heard about his father before now. So Dragon has never been in Luffy's life, its likely that when Luffy was born, Dragon must've given him to Garp and then not been in contact with his family since. Maybe he was already a Revolutionary at the time, or at least a criminal, someone who was being pursued/in danger. That's just what I think, but I do believe at least that while Garp knew Dragon's situation, it wasn't out of choice. If any of this made sense, haha...

Ever since you guys saw this (terrible, in my humble opinion) reveal in the Live Action, I've been waiting for your reactions to these episodes! While it sucked that you already knew about Garp, lol, I'm still happy that you got to find out a bunch of other stuff! 😔😆 It wasn't the double whammy I was hoping for but I'm still satisfied. Regarding the Four Emperors, you're right that they only showed you 3 silhouettes, and also only named 2 of them: Shanks and Whitebeard. You'll find out more about this whole hierarchy and major characters throughout the show, its an ongoing thing, but make sure to note down names and people connected to those names when you think it's important, because sometimes One Piece will drop major hints and then not come back to it until a dozen episodes later and you'll be a bit confused about if you knew or learned some things before or not lol :)

Yes Ron you have always been suspicious of Dragon. This episode is a HUGE info dump for first time watchers and the story is just gonna get addicting from here. A few things. Ace's full name is Portgas D. Ace. Make of that what u will :) So now u know Luffy is from a wild family. You also learned that there are 4 Emperors of the Sea who rule the other side of the Grand Line. Shanks is one of them so Shanks is a pretty powerful pirate...literally in the top 4 of ALL pirates. Garp also punched Luffy with his fist and it hurt him when it most likely shouldnt. Also, Robin is now officially a Straw Hat! Chat, these are not spoilers. Just things they SHOULD take away from this episode. Im so EXCITED!

The Lucci we met couldnt Beat Eneru. Despite his training and mastery of the 6 powers...Eneru is strong enough to hurt him, fast enough to keep up and I dont think Lucci could hurt him that easily. Obviously that changes really fast, but judging the versions of them we seen so far, I think Eneru wins

OK so tell me whats bad about Thriller bark? One piece is 80% Comedy, Odas goal is to make his readers laugh Thriller B is literally the funniest arc of the whole Manga, brooks introduction is also one of the best, the plottwists are also top tier. Also the fights are reeeaallly good but I wont elaborate cause it would be spoilerish. I guess youre also an Anime only and actually never read the Arc. But hey man everyone has their own opinion and their own favourite arcs, so why do you care that I like it?

I've been waiting for this reveal! We're finally at the Post-Enies Lobby arc! This moment would have been so much more impactful for you guys if the live-action series hadn't already revealed that Luffy's grandfather is Vice Admiral Garp (Monkey D. Garp) right from the start. I get that they were trying to attract new fans with the live-action series, but at least you guys got to learn another major detail: Luffy's father is the Revolutionary leader, Monkey D. Dragon. I believe Ace's full name has been mentioned before as well—Portgas D. Ace. Btw, Robin was the one who saved Luffy from the quicksand after he was stabbed by Crocodile in the desert. Also, Luffy felt pain from Garp's 'Fist of Love'~ 😏 Lastly, Enel is strong, but his opponent was Luffy, who's rubber, which made for a bad matchup for Enel. Had Enel fought any of the other characters we've seen so far, they probably would have lost to him.

I don’t know…I’ve never taken that scene as an act of God. It always seemed pretty clear to me that the reader is meant to see Dragon as the cause of that storm. Whether that’s the actual case or not, we can’t say for certain, but that seems to be what the reader is supposed to infer.

I sometimes watch an annual collab of a bunch of OP YouTubers ranking their strongest 30 characters, and it was honestly only a few years ago that he stopped making most lists. To each their own, that was just my personal opinion. I do understand how and why it would be seen as Dragon's doing tho, which is also very cool. I just personally think that the idea of the world itself, fate/destiny and such being affected by stuff Luffy does to also be fascinating lol

What is this supposed to mean? The live action absolutely spoiled this... that's an objective fact. This information was not meant to be in the series as early as Loguetown... They did that to save budget (avoiding needing CGI for Smoker) and to keep audiences hooked without needing to adapt Reverse Mountain and end on Laboon as a cliffhanger. Live action literally swapped out an as-of-yet-unknown member of Luffy's family (Dragon) and swapped in an also as-of-yet-unknown member of Luffy's family (Garp) but just spilled the beans about this, which ruins the potential reveal in future seasons. It's a sign that they were not as confident about the IP in live action and wanted to hedge their bets.
