Jonas Teigen

The ending song was unskippable for me while watching first time.

Jonas Teigen

Man I love bleach. I just finished the last arc before TYBW arc, and now you guys are watching it, perfect timing for a rewatch.

ApacheSlays

fun fact Orihime didnt get hurt by the car because she has natural air bags =)

EndSoul995

Demon Slayer, JJK, and Black Clover were all inspired by bleach btw. Also the big three are called that due to being Shonen Jumps top 3 selling manga at the time and Dragon Ball inspired all of them.

RedEyeItachi

Y’all gotta turn bleach into a double drop please 🙏🙏🙏

AB

Listen to Ron he’s on to something 👀 but you’ll get your answers in the future

Mavoal

aot, tokyo ghoul, demon slayer, akame ga kill, rezero pilots are🔥🔥🔥

Cold_Cyber

Pls make it a double drop 🙂‍↕️

Mavoal

yes, ichigo picks up new skills so quick than most MC's, had naruto out here taking a whole arc doing water balloons rasengans😂

Noizon

Please make these older types of anime at least a double drop. Pacing is different from the newer types of anime, even if they don’t have as many episodes as Naruto or One Piece

Gloria Cuevas

I get what Ron is saying, Ichigo just had such confidence while dealing with the hollow and sending the boy to the soul society.

Aneesh Paul

You guys please pay attention while watching Bleach because it's one of those shows which rarely has any plot hole and everything is quite well explained and also Kubo (author of the manga) doesn't like spoon feeding his viewers for certain things and leaves those explanations on user perspective, so yeah pay attention and enjoy the show Peace 😇

Aaron williams

Yeah it not really far to take animation into account when it comes to choosing favs because of the time period that some shows came out in

Jordanxo

personally i think the beginning of bleach drags a bit, but omg i am SO hyped for them to get past this beginning half, peak is right around the corner!! 😭🙏

Aaron williams

Ron is absolutely over thinking. It’s simple he saw rukia use help those spirits pass over and she explained that this was the duty of a soul reaper also Ichigo is already a fighter from the very beginning of the show it’s not that he knows how to use a sword it’s that the purpose of a sword is obvious and he has natural fighting instincts somebody who actually know how to use a sword would be different. Either way you are overthinking and the show will give you your answers lol. The middle world you speak of his just earth. The human world itself

Raheem Mcdermott

Michelle laughing at Ron at 15:20 I actually disagree with. I feel like even the act of performing the Konzo...isn't just popping the soul on the head. It seems like something that requires practice in order to do properly. I used to download songs on likewise and put them on my iPad shuffle too lol. Those were the good old days.

Sremm7

Guys, this needs two episodes together😘

Antonio Ricardo

2 episodes together! Even if it’s twice a week!

Michael H

Even with manga comparisons, you still have art and paneling that play a massive role. Gotta go with the holistic approach, for sure.

Envy

You guys are great! I do wish it was 2 episodes or more per session tho . 😀

RedEyeItachi

Rukia said the hollow was able to sense him after he made contact with the little girl spirit, cuz it made his hidden spiritual energy leak out. Rukia also said she couldn’t sense Ichigos spiritual energy until after he broke her Kaido technique cuz his sister was in danger and he was so desperate to save her that he unconsciously release more of it.

Peack

Michelle is too shy replace her😭jk but rons on to something

Grim

"Bleach" is named because it refers to the concept of "bleaching" the darkness, symbolizing the main character's role as a Soul Reaper who cleanses the souls of the dead, essentially "whitening" them by taking them to the afterlife; this ties into the Japanese death gods (Shinigami) who wear black robes, which the show's creator "bleached" to give the series a unique title.

Nu.

I’m so glad yall watching this. Bleach is my all time favorite anime nothing will ever top it for me💪🏽

David almsted

Trust me the world will drastically change and you now know very little 3:15

King Kai

Rukia just explained. Hollow are spirit that for some reason hasn’t pass over. They couldn’t be send over because they have unfinished business or regrets or grudge. Same notion like that Japanese horror the grudge(the ring). A spirit that for some reason whether it’s hatred, couldn’t pass over.

Ron, I am Slavic. The word slave, derived from the word Slav. I always was told I look Asian because I have very slanted eyes. I have a lot of different bloodlines for me because I’m Slavic. I am Eurasian, but my eyes do not look European at all. And honesty I would’ve never guessed you were Asian. I look a bit mor Asian than you and based on DNA test I’m .2% Asian.

Mel - Sërënä

Hahaha that brain squeezing it's so fun 😂 In my opinion, at this moment Ichigo is just going straight to it, not really applying sword knowledge 😂 I mean, if someone give us a sword, we at least know that we have to swing it to cut with it, no?... Even Rukia told him not just swing the sword randomly LOL so, not a sword master at the moment, and I suppose that the shinigami power, gave him the strength to carry the sword at least 😂 and, for knowing what to do, I'm on Michelle's perspective, Rukia explained what to do with the 2 kind of souls, and he saw her doing it, so, he just did like her... 🤷🏽‍♀️

Uncancellable Reacts

Trust me when its all said and done one piece will be #1 you think the animation is getting good now... please just wait 🔥

kidCash3

I wish we were on a two ep pace like Naruto 😭

Izzy

Nah man you not overthinking stuff, the world and kinda basics of the power system I guess you could say get explained pretty quick, lots of info to absorb so keep theorizing and asking questions for sure

Riley C.

Chad and Orihime are bae

Lmiwnks

Once you finish these shows you’ll see that demon slayer really isn’t all that, it’s animation carries it so hard being god tier. It’s just that it was your first anime with that level animation so it’s feel like a top 5

Saith D. Uchiha

I had a iPod shuffle I’ve moved so many times unfortunately I doubt I still have one

wheezin365

ichigo is built different

MIRACHAN FF

I think u guys love Naruto so much .. I guess u guys top 5 is 1-naruto 2-blackclover 3-solo leveling 4-one piece 5- demon slayer

Randall Woods Jr

I usually rate anime’s based on story and Naruto is my number 1 favorite but my other top anime’s I like is Fairy Tail, Black Clover and AOT I still haven’t seen One piece even tho you guys are reacting to it

Light

ep 2 and the amount of questions being asked is crazy , let the show tell you

Tacosareneat

Michelle's point to compare a show manga to manga is definitely really interesting. Demon slayer is the best example of a show that is made 10x better with its anime. I like demon slayer, but If you really judge disregarding the art, animation, and voice acting, it loses a LOT of luster.

J

AOT PILOT #1

John Serrano

Just signed up. Glad you two are finally watching bleach. Its the GOAT

kkloyd

Guys animation of bleach latest arcs and especially tybw is literallly best, on level of dandandan

Castiel_01x

Now that you are ahead, you might have realised why Ichigo is so "strong" early on. In the manga, though, we had a snippet on how Rukia was helping Ichigo to understand the Soul Reaper duties. The anime created another plothole in this episode, unlike the manga. It is implied, based on later episodes, that Orihime's brother became a hollow on his own as his chain of fate eroded. There's no such thing as souls eaten by a hollow will turn into another hollow. Souls that are eaten by a hollow only become a part of the hollow. Studio Pierrot, the studio that did Bleach and Naruto, definitely had some issues with how they animated female characters like Orihime. She got the Sakura treatment, as both of them are so much better in the manga. The anime, for some reason, decided not to say the fact that Orihime's parents were really abusive, which explains her pacifist personality as well as her brother's decision to leave them. The anime essentially did not delve into her backstory as much as the manga did, and if they had done that, it would have helped us connect to her more.

Ilsuk Yang

Ah yes, the limewire days lol. It's fun going back over the beginning of Bleach after you find out exactly what he is in TYBW. You know there's something special about Ichigo at the beginning, then you slowly get more and more information about him throughout the show/manga until you find everything out in TYBW (anime-only watchers had to wait a really long time for TYBW, somewhere around a decade lol).
