I understand your point, but from Oda's perspective, Nobuhiro Watsuki was still a sensei who guided him. Oda has mentioned that learning under Watsuki was one of the happiest times of his life. His support for Watsuki comes from their bond as fellow mangakas, not from any involvement in the cp issue. Similarly, Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, supports Watsuki for the same reason—as a fellow mangaka. I’m not defending Watsuki, but I do believe it’s important to consider these nuances. Of course, you’re entitled to your own opinion on the matter.
