You're not alone with the obsession, Michelle! My wife is heavily obsessed with blind boxes -popmart (hirono, pucky, dimoo, zsiga, kubo), calico critters, smiskis, and sonny angels. I don't know how much money she's spent on them/her collection already. She started saying they will be heirloom for our future kid 😅 Can't blame you ladies though. It's the equivalent of opening and collecting trading cards and figures. Shit's addicting. Back to Bleach, the Menos Grande exiting like that was always one of the funniest things. It went oh shit and didn't want the smoke so it dipped 😂

Bleach has some banger opening and ending songs. To avoid spoilers, it is probably best for us to not talk about the weapons and powers so if you see people talking about it, might be best to ignore it lol, show does a great job for the most part of explaining things. And about the bloodline/clan part, its probably best for you guys to just speculate to avoid spoilers, will definitely get the answers eventually.

It's a Titan!!! Funnily enough, "Menos Grande" means "less big" or "not as big". I remember my first time watching this and thinking "what the hell is mas grande than that??!!" Lol Also, just being picky here, but the translation misspelled the Menos Grande attack.... It got spelled "Sero" (correct pronunciation) but it should be spelled "Cero" which is the Spanish word for "zero"

You asked is it Ichigo or is it the sword? Ichigo obviously has massive spiritual energy... But he doesn't fight hollows without his sword. The sword acts as a conduit for his spiritual energy. So he naturally pours his spiritual energy into the sword to fight without being able to control it, which is why Ishida can use the spiritual energy when he touches the sword

Basically, to maintain the balance between the Soul Society and the Human World, Soul Reapers purify both souls and Hollows in the Human World, allowing the souls to eventually reincarnate back into the Human World. Quincies destroy the hollows completely hence destroying the balance. Quincy is like a bloodline, and Michelle is correct about the grandfather, whom the Soul Reapers believed to be the last 'known' Quincy.

You both have the right idea about the whole soul thing but I think Ron was closer to the actual answer which is that when a soul reaper defeats a soul (Hollow or Spirit) it moves to Soul Society to continue the cycle, but when a Quincy defeats a soul it is basically eradicated from the cycle and no longer exist.

I hope im not too late. bleach being part of the big 3 have had some leeway in comedy in the after credits. i cant really remember when it starts but bleach will start to have some comedy skits at the end of every episode after or before the credits roll. some of them just show characters doing random stuff but some of them have like a lecture explaining some things in the world of bleach.

Think of it as a balance scale. Both sides need to have an equal number of souls. To maintain that equilibrium, soul reapers can do different things. So when quincies existed, soul reapers could not perform Konso on souls, as the hollows destroyed by quincies never returned to the Soul Society. Eventually, one side started having more souls than the other, which threatened the stability of the worlds. In the manga, Uryu was fighting the hollows as he was talking. The hollows were not just standing around. There were a couple of hollows who attacked Ishida, and he got them out. 14:02 Also, the exact wording in the manga was "As one of the last surviving quincies". Uryu's grandpa was never stated as the last Quincy. Kon or Mod Soul was made to fight hollows by instilling an artificial soul into a dead human body. Gigai, on the other hand, was made for soul reapers who become weak to get into an artificial body to recover their powers.

Since you guys are in TYBW cour 4 now, all this "last Quincy" stuff must seem a bit silly now lol. But yeah, Bleach does a great job of getting you to feel a certain way about a character first, before revealing more about that character and changing the way you feel about them. Uryu's in a lot of pain and he sees now, that Ichigo went through a similar experience and feels a kinship with him now. There's something about early Bleach that just jives with me. I love all of it, but early Bleach feels different in a good way. I would say that Bleach is my 2nd favorite anime/manga, and, without these early episodes, I probably wouldn't feel that way
