We finally see all the 13 squad Captains! In case you didn't notice, the Captains all wear a white haori so you know they are the Captains. Also for your reference, those are numbers on the back of their haori which tells you the Squad they belong to. 一 = 1 二 = 2 三 = 3 四 = 4 五 = 5 六= 6 七 = 7 八 = 8 九 = 9 十 = 10 十一 = 11 十二 = 12 十三 = 13

Totally agree with JJK’s point — the story was never that great to begin with. Sure, the animation is insanely cool, but that’s pretty much it. It’s just an overrated series that’s been hyped way too much.

Even the concept of Domain expansion in JJk isn't unique to JJK. Domains have always been a common ability/concept in Chinese Cultivation stories.

I feel the same Ron. At ca 25 min about JJK and copying stuff, also it was the same for me with solo leveling copying HxH (ant king, aura, chairman, hunter association......,) That's why i respect the older anime a lot more then i used to, because of the influence.

I dont mind shows emulating fundamental concepts as such, tbf even Bleach's fundamental power system of Reiokyu (Spirit Energy) is a derivative of diving into one's heart and soul and manifesting it, similar to Nen or Spirit Energy in Dragon Ball. It's how Ganju puts it "Dive into that 'heart' of yours!" Reiokyu is the foundation, and the abilities you see on display, albeit under different factors, are manifestations of one's heart/soul. Skilled Soul Reapers call onto their Zampakuto, which are swords imprinted with their own soul like Renji's "Roar, Zabimaru" and Gin's "Shoot to kill, Shinso". JJK has its inspirations but its how a series uses such a concept and manipulates that to their own unique style.

A lot of people like JJK BECAUSE it takes homage from a lot of older shows and just does dope shit with it. But I can understand watching JJK first then watching the inspirations for it and feeling bamboozled.

Ron, it's definitely not unpopular for Bleach fans to dislike JJK. I had a friend who talked trash about JJK every time I mentioned it to him cause he felt like it ripped off Bleach. He barely even watched JJK cause of it. Some of the Bleach fans are really ridiculous about it, but I think it's totally fine for shows to inspire other shows. It's okay to enjoy both shows while recognizing the inspirations.

Legends knew JJK is a Recycled material from the past. No creativity at all. It make me sick that these new writers just cant come out with something new at all. It make anime inside a box.

It's fair to have this criticism towards JJK. The 1st and 2nd season were extremely good. Past the shibuya incident arc you could see how the mangaka was sick of writing the story. I would've been totally satisfied if the story ended with the shibuya arc.

I only got about halfway through JJK season 1. I did like it, but I didn't really see any need to continue it. I might watch it at some point in the future, but might not. Honestly, I could not tell you a single thing that happened in JJK. I remember liking the fights, but that's about it. Anyway, things are gonna get crazy in this arc
