Orange didn’t know who Lelouch really was, and neither did most people. From the very beginning, the whole point was that Lelouch and Nunnally’s identities as members of the Britannian royal family were meant to be kept secret. Orange (Jeremiah) only realizes the truth now because this is the first time Lelouch directly tells him. When Orange asks why Lelouch is against Britannia, Lelouch responds by revealing his full name - Lelouch vi Britannia, and that’s when everything clicks for Orange. He realizes he had been misled all along. There are a lot of small, intricate details throughout the show, and it’s totally normal to miss or forget some of them. Don’t stress about it too much, by the end, everything becomes clear. This is one of those series where you really have to drop every other show and just binge it till the end to know every single detail and keep up with the small details, but it’s not feasible obviously so it gets tricky or confusing here and there.

Idk if y'all realized by now but Marianne is Lelouche's mom name. Remember C.C kept randomly saying Marianne's name and Michelle was asking who that was. And the ending scene was so sad. Lelouche already used his Geass on Shirley once to forget all her memories of course him using it again as she's dying wouldn't have worked. He can only use it once on one person. RIP Shirley

LelouchFam

bro why does Michelle keep skipping new intros on like every show😭😭

Quitzx1

it makes sense, they are so deep into the show that even if its new stuff in the intro, they could piece stuff together and accidentally spoil themselves.

LelouchFam

First of all code geass openings so not have spoilers. Second of all they usually watch almost all openings and endings on every show they do regardless of spoilers. The only one they didnt was like naruto

Quitzx1

Hot take I lowkey hated Suzaku after, bro knew that shit was going down and still left Shirley's safety to some guard bozos.

Ronald Bohne

Shirley loved Lulu. Kallen loves Zero. And C2 loves Lelouch. Lelouch plays 3 entirely different characters and they are quite distinct from each other. RIP Shirley. She reminds me so much of a particular character in another anime you are watching. Also as for Jeremiah, just remember that Zeros identity as Mariannes son wasnt revealed to Jeremiah until he had his geass canceler installed by VV (so like only a couple eps ago).

지원

not hot take lol me too

KevUrb

Aye when this new intro came out it was lowkey one of my favorite anime intro songs in a while 😅

J

Lelouch commanding shirley not to die multiple times got me 😔 Rolo can catch these hands bro

Gene B

The English VA scene of Shirley dying lives rent free in my head.

Spanky5940

It also just doesn’t work like that

27:40 Dang there are a lot of Matts.

Quitzx1

they literally watched the previous code geass intro and spoiled something for themselves, but alright dingus.

A cool detail is that Lelouch Geassed Shirley to live so even though Geass can't make her magically survive a mortal wound, you can see her heart starts beating faster to try to stay alive which caused her to bleed even faster. Shirley really went through some shit she didn't deserve, and she was basically the only person keeping Lelouch connected to a normal life, all the other people he associates with are connected to the war and revolution. So a big piece of Lelouch's humanity died along with Shirley. Orange was not under a Geass, the "eye changing color" was because Lelouch halted the Gefjun disturber so Orange's Geass Canceler eye became re-activated again. Basically Lelouch pressed "continue" on him from his mechanical pause

Damien Lee

Orange literally only just found out Lelouch is who he is

LelouchFam

I just went back and watched them react to the last intro… wtf did they get spoiled on?? Bro dont be one of those parasocial weirdos man. The only thing they said on the intro was that suzaku was alive and that they thought “nunally took the bullet” nobody ever thought suzaku was dead lmfao and nobody and i mean NOBODY thought nunna took a bullet in a scene she wasnt even in. So im not understanding where the spoiler is??

LelouchFam

You over here acting like they aint watch the intro cuz they avoiding spoilers when in reality… its just bc michelle wasnt paying attention and didnt notice it was a new intro. Stfu bro

Sora
