Great news! i hope you add a One Piece slot for the weekend! Having to wait 4 days between drops is low key torture lol also not gonna lie I was going to comment on ya'lls last few OP reactions that you both seem like u are not retaining the info as well. I know OP has so much info so it is overwhelming and no one expects you to remember everything, but you used to read OP notes from mods to remember important plot points, which maybe was overkill for every video, but I think you should have some form of notes maybe every 10 episodes or at least at the end of every arc?

Yeah it makes so much more sense to consolidate. I love reactors like Roshi but I also tend to wonder how people can compartmentalize so many different shows in their head. I’m built more like you guys, where I can only focus on a few big things and that’s how I’d rather it be. Absolutely no shade to Roshi btw, he’s a machine and you can tell that they pay attention and recall lots of things from all the shows they watch (somehow lol) Also you guys deserve as many weeks off as you like.

I would still keep 1 slot for short series/new season. Since boruto, bleach, and one piece are gonna take a long ass time. So whenever you finish bc, you can make that slot into a short series. For me, watching the same show for a long time tires me out. Having a new show in the schedule every couple months sounds like a good breather. For OP, I took a break every 200-300 epi to watch a another show.

I do think leaving one slot for niche/less mainstream short series would be a good idea in the long run. Long series come with so much expectations from fans, even when an arc drags or the pacing might not be the best. And while any given show might not be a home run, it’ll feel better watching a 7/10 anime for 12-30 episodes vs. 200+ episodes lol. Otherwise I think dropping the two slots and focusing on a small handful of series is a great idea 👌

Keep in mind you guys that roshi has already seen all th beginner shows like bleach dragon ball Naruto and one piece. He was watching anime before he was a YouTuber. He’s watching shows that are seasonal that mostly have like 1 season at a time until new ones most of the shows you guys are watching are finished. So you guys shouldn’t be too pressured or even compare because roshi’s experience is mostly common for other channels. They can handle that amount because those shows will go off air and it gives them room for newer shows.

I partly disagree with you on this, but I do see your point. I think they are doing what you said to some extent, for example, Apothecary Diaries and Dr. Stone are still around as the smaller series. Once those finish, I’m pretty sure they’ll just swap them out for other similar-sized shows. Meanwhile, the rest of the lineup can be focused on bigger drops of One Piece, Boruto, Bleach, and JoJo’s. It also makes sense from a viewer’s perspective, sometimes it’s just nice to binge a show straight through, without constantly breaking the rhythm to start something else or switch between series.

Hey, great video! I’m genuinely curious about something. When I add up the episode lengths, it seems like there’s around 15 hours of recording time, though I might be off. I know Ron also does Academy content, reactions with his brother, sends files to editors, uploads, and more. But I was wondering why it’s considered such a heavy workload. No hate at all I’m just trying to understand better. A lot of people work 9 hour days, sometimes even weekends, often in pretty demanding jobs. Maybe there's a lot of behind-the-scenes work that we don’t see. If you’re okay with it, I’d love to get a bit more insight into what goes into everything! I once wanted to start a youtube channel aswell XD.

I actually really love this. I love anime and I am on the journey with you guys as I haven’t seen a lot of these anime’s. So I am watching them for the first time as you upload. But on the other hand I am a very busy person and do other things as well so sometimes I end up skipping some of your reactions to certain shows because I just don’t have time to watch every show. So I love the idea of having less shows but more uploads to certain show because it will be so much easier to keep up. Also I am so pumped for Boruto :) I can’t wait to see how it unfolds. well they said they will be implementing the new schedule after their week break that takes place for the first week of june, we will find out how it works then, I would assume for one piece since they were doing 4 a week that would be the case

Here are my 2 cents about these anouncements. First of all I think its a step in the right direction and Im looking forward to it. That beeing said and as much as I like OP and Bleach I already thought doing both at the same time would be a bad idea, concerning retaining information and now you are adding Boruto and Jojo. Im not sure thats a good idea. Just watch one big show at a time and a lot, for progress in the show but also for info containment and add a few shorter shows in the mix. Here some 12 episodes, here some 24, something like this, ehile concentrating on the big one. I love your idea of a mental health break once a quarter and Im positive that if you need it sushi squad will support you when you need additional time off. Take care of yourselves and stay hydrated. im huge on this (more slots for the big shows). Just let the slots drop off as you finish a smaller show or something - and pick up MORE ONE PIECE. (and others) but as a one piece stan, it will let you guys get through it quicker - the upcoming arcs are amazing, and Ron can get to his card game FASTER. Also, Michelle - I just want to make sure you remember there will ALWAYS be negative comments online, its literally impossible not to have haters with an internet presence. Don't let it get to you, you're great and one of the sharper reviewers ive watched straight up you really pick up on things and its enjoyable- you two are a powerhouse. I watch YaBoiYoshi and honestly most of the big reactors - straight up you guys have become one of the best. Not just glazing.

Yeah that's what I figured too but I went to check the Youtube comments of this video to see if they gave a little more clarification there, and I found one of their replies stating that One Piece would still be 4 eps per week like usual. So no change at all :/

About 2 years or more? Same thing with one piece. If they drop one piece and start focusing solely on bleach then one piece enjoyers will be out. L for us and for them. We need great balance here and right now their decision is the best solution. That's my opinion.

Well yes I agree. Since they already started watching the shows it would be stupid to drop them now. But to add Boruto and Jojo on top of Bleach and OnePiece instead of finishing Bleach (for obvious reasons OP will stay for some time longer) and then start Jojo or(!) Boruto would be smarter I feel like. And since they are switching slots to watch the shows they have more, it takes a lot less time to even finish something like Bleach which has a good amount of episodes.

Especially if they're long ones. Well admittedly that's a little disappointing since they said this announcement would be good news for OP fans but literally nothing is changing for us lol. Maybe they somehow forgot OP was already 4 eps per week. Anyway I'm cool with it overall, but there's a lotta people here now expecting 6 or even 8 OP episodes per week. Tbh I didn’t get any kind of ideas like that. I think they meant that all 4 shows are gonna be double drops 2 times a week. So OP stays the same. Bleach and Boruto are 3 times a week single drop, so they’ll be changing those and adding Jojos on top of that. With these 4 shows being double drops 2 times a week, they still have some room for smaller shows, the rest is gonna be cut off, so they won’t get burnt out tryna do too much at the same time

I think its a good move. There was a period where Ron was yawning through some of the reactions, and it was a really bad turn off. Double drops for Bleach is much needed, and as for Boruto, it depends how much of the "fillers" you guys are intending to watch

I'd be vary of some of the comments at least on bleach section. Sometimes they contain spoilers which would make you anticipate something and thus not coming off as a surprise. It's not there every drop but there are some I see. Or at least you are done with the current arc, I'd advice to be a little careful around bleach comments

I belive you more or less deserves the change you made fr, i have not seen anyone else pushing out content at the same consistency as you guys. I belive that most viewers forget that this is your "job" and as every other job, rest is needed unless you want to work yourselve into a very bad mental & physical state, and tbh i assume most of us have work as well. So a week off isn't the end of the world i mean personally i would still be supporting since i can even barely keep up with your uploadings, i still got 4+ videos i haven't even watched yet :D. Do it at your pace if you have a bad day (as everyone has once in a while) take the day off to take a breather, i belive most of us knows what the silence mean dont worry about that, we tend to think that content creation is easy, but in actuality it might be one of the most requiring things to do since you have to be on camera 24/7 because (the creator) feels obligated to present something everyday, just like you said we pay however that doesn't mean we (the viewers) gets to command your life & schedule, (that is a fan(atics) mindset and not a supporters ;).

Y'all do need to get through these, knocking out the shorter 2 will let you start catching more of the new stuff as it comes out. You're getting bogged down by these long running shows. OP fans might be upset, but you're just not going to get through it quickly no matter what, and it's kind of always popular, but once you get the other two out of the way you can bump up reactions to it (I think you'll need to based on how the pacing slows in it at a certain point)

op fans are bad at math, they would catch up to the current episode 1127 February of 2029, assuming they still take 4 weeks off every year. During the 3.8 yrs it takes them to reach that point, op will have released at least 195 new episodes. They officially catch up to the anime in 2030

It all good and all that you guys are setting the expectations. I DO think yall was taking too much on, your reactions lately, in my opinion, have been more lacking and haven't seem as genuine - missing info, forgetting stuff and characters, etc. But with all that being said, good on you guys for trying to change it up, but I DO also want to say that I don't think this new set up will last too long, because every anime season, there may be a hype anime and such that I know you guys will jump on - because at the of the day, content creators need to stay relevant with current popular shows (example, Frieren s2, SoloLvling s3, etc.), to retain viewership. So I guess, we'll see where this goes.
