In regards to what you were talking about at the end, trying to find Rukia; the general soul society is extremely large, there are many debates on the exact size, but it is generally agreed upon that the SS is at least larger than earth

Tossen Is blind he can’t SEE aizen’s shikai release which activates the hypnosis. So sense tossen can’t see he can’t be hypnotized by aizen’s sword. So tossen had to become a subordinate in order to not be outed. And he was BEFORE aizen showed everyone. A shikai release is triggered when a person says a word or phrase and then their zanpakuto’s name that is the activation that aizen is referring to.

Also they explained using the ichigo and Kenny fight that one beings spirtual pressure can suppress another’s. And depending on the difference the stronger being will be unharmed hence why Ichigo and Renji can’t do anything against him.

Also, aizen only needs to use his sword release on you one time and at anytime in the future he can hypnotize you. There is not time limit. That’s why he feels so strong because they all saw it already. You guys are use to shows giving abilities time limits but in the show if an ability has a time limit it isn’t mastered.

One thing that doesn't really get mentioned often even in the anime is that the higher number of a kido, the more difficult it is to execute. They are graded from 1-99, latter being the most difficult and hardest to control. So the bigger the number, the more difficult it is. Now there are 3 different types of Kido Bakudō which is the "Way of Binding/Binding Spell" Hadō which is the "Way of Destruction/Path of Destruction" Kaidō which is the "Healing Kidō/Healing Spiritual Arts" Now there are other cool stuff involving those that may or may not be obvious/apparent but all you have to know right now is that soul reapers can skip the spoken incantation that is connected to that specific spell to use it without the incantation, but in this process the spell is drastically weakened. So Aizen throwing out a 90s kido without an incantation and demolishing a captain goes to show just how powerful he is in this aspect. Reason why I bring this is up is that it's either briefly mentioned or not at all. It's not really something that people may pay attention to at the time when they watch it or are unable grab it's significance. I figured it'd be cool to know the different types of Kido, which is basically "magic" in our fantasy terms. Now do you have to remember all of this? Not really. The biggest takeaway really is that: Bigger number = harder to do and more potent. No incantation = weaker than with spoken incantation but comes with speed.

Basically, Aizen shikai hypnotizes you once you see it which is why he basically showed it to everyone lol. The Tosen part was just to show he isn't working alone and since Tosen is blind he is immune so It implies that was working for him since the begging like Gin. As for the reasons you have to wait.

IMO the anime does really bad job at showing big Rukon District is. The district is big enough where you could go your whole life without finding Rukia. Only reason they found her is because she joined the Squads. Considering the fact that probably millions of people dies and goes to SS. Not all of them if not most of them dont live in the area they actually live in the district

*No Spoilers *Explanation on the Kaname Tosen thing that Aizen said: Basically, everyone who sees Kyoka Suigetsu being released, even once in their entire life, will forever be subject to Aizen's perfect hypnosis whenever he releases it, even if they don't see when he does it. However, Tosen is blind; therefore, he has never and will never see him release his Zanpakutō. What Unohana caught up on was that Aizen's hypnosis never fooled Tosen; he always knew whenever Aizen would use his Zanpakuto it was all an illusion and just played along.

Tosen was his subordinate from the beginning because he was blind, if Aizen can only hypnotize someone if they see the release of his blade, then that means Tosen can't be hypnotized. So how come he didn't sense anything off about anything that was going on? Well, because he was working for Aizen from the very beginning. He didn't need to be hypnotized, that's what it meant.

He seems strong because they already saw his zampakuto once, so, he can hypnotize them any time, they "thought", they were attacking him, because that's what he wanted them to see, so, as the think they're attacking him, he can be just behind or in front of them and slash them out... Tosen, the black captain, is blind... That's what Aizen meant when he said that whoever "saw" his power was hypnotized. Tosen LITERALLY couldn't see it. 💀 And as far as being his subordinate goes, Gin and Tosen are under Aizen by CHOICE. But you won't know about their individual reasons until much, much later !

Obviously you know this now by the end of this last episode, but ichigo could never have had the hogyoku inside of him anyways because rukia gave ichigo her powers in ep. 1, then AFTER that, urahara gave rukia her Gigai with the hogyoku in it. So she was not even the “vessel” for the hogyoku until after she already gave ichigo her powers so she could never have transferred it to ichigo.

I can add one thing that also important from way back but I was not a Patrion then, is that Ichigo had his own soulreaper powers and Rukia's power just trigger his own to start "flowing". I think this is an important notice going forward.

So, the only ones who aren't under Aizen's complete hypnosis are Tosen (since he can't see Aizen's release) and Ichigo (he hasn't seen it). Byakuya only found Rukia once she was at the soul reaper academy when it would've been much easier to find her.
