So the arancar with the pointy nose was actually first shown in the series in manga chapter 25, which coincides with episode 9 of the anime (although that was cut from the anime), right after Ichigo first fights the Grand Fisher. He was the one who operated on Grand Fisher.

As many people have mentioned already, this is sadly where the pacing of the anime becomes a bit slow. That would be the perfect time for triple episode videos, at least till the first half of this arc. Some parts are 4 even 5 episodes long, the cliffhangers get only worse from here, lol.

Just a heads up for Ron this arc does have some pacing issues but its still fire but some moments are eh for me. People say the start of this arc is slow that makes sense since its the start. Just letting Ron know since up to this point he's noticed and has been saying bleach has no chill and is fast paced with back to back action. Lol but this arc here will have some slow pacing but not one piece level pace. This is no shade to one piece I love one piece I'm js we know how one piece do

Nah it's not they, it was Tite Kubo alone. His inspiration for using spanish terms came from his perception of the spanish language. He perceived spanish to have an added sound of sinister, lustful, seductive, threatening vibe that adds to the aura of the Hollow world, not necessarily because it's "better" as you say. Same for German. The Quincy uses German terms because Kubo believes the sound of the language gives the Quincy a more cold, militaristic and ancient feel. The goal was to be "stylistic", not necessarily because he thought these languages would make anything "better".

But is it really that big a deal though ? 💀 I'm a native speaker and the espada are literally so cool to me. The names they give their released state and the way they pronunce them is really cool. I actually really enjoyed Kubo making a whole entire arc based on the Spanish theme. Not many animes do that, let alone the big three.

This episode is where the Hueco Mundo arc starts, and this arc and the next one are plagued by pacing issues. For example, they dragged this episode out by creating several traps, which were non-existent in the manga. I don't mind this being in the anime here, but you will see how bad it gets.
