Omg I love Yona of the Dawn, you should read the manga it’s really good!😊

Phyllis

Omg!!! Yona of the Dawn is so good!!! It's been years so I don't know if they ever will continue with the anime series but I totally recommend reading the manga!!! I love Hak!!! One of my husbandos! XD ❤️❤️❤️

Heather

I love that yall are watching Yona of the Dawn!! It’s one of my favorites! Such a shame they only animated 1 season. But if yall are wanting to watch more shoujo, I recommend Snow White with the Red Hair! So much more to come with this season of AD! I also heard they started production for season 3!🙌🏽hopefully that’s true🙏🏽 I loved this story so much I read the manga and then read the light novels. So so so good!

Oh yeah, Yona of the Dawn is excellent. Haven't rewatched it recently, I might wanna do that. The singer is familiar maybe because he sang the intro for Fire Force season 1. The band is Mrs. GREEN APPLE; they might've sung intros/outros for some other anime I can't think of right now.

Phyllis

The opening song "Kusushiki" is by Mrs GREEN APPLE and you have heard them sung the 1st opening song "Inferno" for Fire Force S1. And ending song "Hitorigoto" is by Omoinotake who sung the Ending song"Tsubomi" for My Hero Academia S7. I love both these songs as the lyrics resonate with the story.❤️ After finishing this season, I highly recommend watching both these 2 songs full version with the lyrics. You'll feel the song so much more.🥹

yes so good

consider, how difficult it would be in this setting to acquire, maintain and transport a large block of ice without any form of refrigeration. same with the hot water used for the baths in the last few episodes, its part of why that kind of stuff is considered so extravagant.

Phyllis

Some historical period romance anime recommendations for Michelle similar to Yona of the Dawn, Inuyasha and Apothecary Diaries. These probably are ones you won't get majority request to react to. There are ones that are really old and some are just newer. Fushigi Yuugi, Kamisama Kiss, Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits, The Twelve Kingdoms. There's Noragami too but I think there is a chance that you could be requested to react to it in future.

Luna

Yona of the dawn being mentioned😍😍 literally my favourite shoujo of all timeee (hence my profile pic😆) so recommend reading it as well And now we wait till Maomao finally accepts who Jinshi really is🤭🤣

diana

Mentioned light hearted anime and shoujo all I think was Ouran host club lol

Yumaaa

Ahhh the OP is Mrs. Green Apple. The same ones who did Fire Force S1 OP. I love them so much

No way yous watched yona of the dawn. I remember watching that years ago it’s honestly not a bad watch I liked it as well even tho I enjoy shonen more I always need a break and watch other genre

To clear up a misunderstanding you seem to be under. apothecary diaries is not a shojo. having a female lead doesn't automatically mean that an anime/manga is shojo. The terms shojo and seinen as demographic categories for magazines. So it's mostly about their target audience for the magazines where the manga is published. That being said because both mangas of Apothecary diaries were published by a seinen magazine it is mostly considered as seinen. Just wanted to clarify this^^

Man, Jinshi can be pretty scary when he wants to be, like with that former head lady-in-waiting for Lady Lishu. Glad he put her in her place. It's just nasty how mean she was to Lishu
