Huzefa Haris

First for the very first time

Dannilo

If you guys want more speed, watch more for us LOL, i'm just saying.... like 6 episodes of bleach per week instead of 4 XD

Brandon Solerr

cant wait for yall to see espada number 1

kidCash3

Trust it only picks up ur not wrong this a really slow part of the show the way this arc starts is pretty slow but when it picks up it goes craz

G07DY

Yeah, sure last 10 ish episodes are slow. But boy you are not ready for what’s coming. True peak. 3:29 Oh boy, You guys are not going to survive One Piece pacing from Fishman Island.😭

MIKES left Nut

Ulquiorra said all I need is one hand

CaptainCameron

This is definitely the slowest part of Bleach. The fights until now have been appetizers. But from here on out it gets better

F12Berlinetta

Agree with all the comments here. Best parts are close around 3-4 more episodes. Won't be surprised if you guys might do a triple drop again same like the way you guys did at SS arc

Tay

Yokoso

Stellarnut

Easy? lmao she fought a long hard fought battle mentally, emotionally, and physically before getting stabbed through the stomach and catching her overly arrogant and prideful opponent off guard.

markok

Felt the same way as you Ron, when I watched this part of this arc. You are most definitely not alone.

Akimitzu

PLEASE make it 6 episodes a week instead of 4. This is probably the slowest parts of bleach tbh but LET KUBO COOK. This shit goes to insane levels...Please please please add 2 more eps a week 🙏🏽

지원

don't worry peak moment is coming but yeah this arc is very slow If they can’t handle this pacing, they probably won’t be able to handle One Piece’s pacing going forward lol. i love you guys big 3 is goat

Volt

These 2 episodes are where the Hueco Mundo section really picks up in the anime even though the other stuff was still good. Pacing goes a long way in making "slower" parts actually feel slow when watching them. Also 165, 166, 167 triple drop needed

Robenson BADETTE

And he probably didn't know that Rukia has a third dance to her techniques because he was surprised

지원

yeah fishman island is bad but dressrosa? ...

zyo

need a triple drop for episodes 165, 166, and 167

TaterThots

We're very close to where this arc finally picks up in Bleach. With that being said, was hoping we could ask for triple drop next week? Triple drop both Mon and Wed would be cool but just on Wed is fine, mainly 164, 165 and 166 although the events of those episode ends on 167, the peak is really 166.

Antonio Ricardo

Nah you’re right that it feels slow right now, but it’s gonna pick up very soon!

Sammy

We warned you that the beginning of the Hueco Mundo Arc has a slow start (the entry and the Fallen Espada) 😉 I won’t spoil anything, but trust us - now we’re entering PEAK territory 🧡

ichigo421

EVERYONE like this let’s get them to TRIPLE DROP 165-167 !!!!

Cosmic

Yup this arc starts slowwww but its now about to get so damn good 🔥

Mauricio Vidrio

Yess this part of the story is super slow. Like no one wants to see this uryu fight or the chad one either. But trust the process it gets much much better!!

kidBuku

All Gas no Breaks from this point forward.

Scratch

You should react to classroom of the elite. It’s a very good anime. Check it out. Very popular too

נדב מאור

You’re intro was vailed this part of show is notorious for being that plus I hope Michelle feels better

Emil Kolev

You're right this is one of the slowest parts of bleach. Just be patient!

Dimitron

The pacing in some parts of this arc is slow and it is better in the manga but trust me peak is incoming

Pandrix

Dressrosa and Fishman are atrocious I wanted to drop OP every episode in those arcs

Pandrix

TRUST, Bleach is a slow burn already but the anime studio is infamous for adding tons of filler and fluff which is why the manga is generally the better choice. The OG Bleach suffers that long anime format sadly which sometimes outshines the PEAKNESS BUT don’t worry Bleach is PEAK just keep going and you’ll see why!! Every anime has its weak points I would say this arc has Bleach’s weakest parts, but as I’ve said you haven’t seen anything yet!!

YoungKojie

I was thinking the exact same thing as Ron at the beginning of the video and my friend who is a huge Bleach fan agreed too.

Niam

Ulquiorra my goat

Daniel

The last 10 eps were pretty slow but this is where the peak begins. Its gonna be a back to back fire!!

B

💯Be yourself and don't worry about other.

dzuudo

Funny how cautiously Ron has to voice his opinions. Couldn't care less if someone came at me for disagreeing or using slurs bcs he/she disagrees. Bleach is goated and my nr1 but this part is definetely slower. However nowadays you might get shot to the neck so I kind of understand.

Felipe

Zaillaporo fight is still super boring until the very end where it gets kinda good

Chey

oh brother. lol stop

Noni

Did you buy the sign from LC sign? xD

Davis

Non stop is literally around the corner following these episodes. Also once you finally get to TYBW arc. It is a leagues above everything else. It was(still is) animated after like a 10 year hiatus. The animation is JJK at best levels and even better id say. The story has 0 filler, strictly manga material and Kubo has even added additional scenes which are officially canon. All im saying, its real good.

Arz.09

Finally the boring episode stretch is over 👹👹

Arz.09

U not alone on that Ron these first few for this arc always my least favourite on the rewatch

idkwhy

The relevant example

idkwhy

Now you have passed the slow part of this arc, the rest is peak!

zoro xz

I completely agree with u Ron, my fav anime is Bleach and this part is where its the most boring, but it gets so much better after u pass these boring eps

Gwopp

It's going to pick up now a lot quicker

SageTheChosen

Yeah this part really drags for me too, filler city in this part of the Arc, but once we get glasses up outta here, its all gas. Till we get to the 4 pillars at least.

SageTheChosen

18:16 so easy? they been fighting for episodes and shes impaled seeing her life flash before her eyes, what part of that is easy? lol

Seven

Yea Renji is always the punching bag

Lukas Maier

If you want the arc to ramp up, I have only one thing to say: "You are not prepared!" :)

Nemy

Ulquiorra! Is so goated🥳

Langdon

It is indeed slow and boring, but it will pick back up soon!

Raden

Literally the worst part of Bleach is this arc. It dragged too much for sure

Dwayne Townsend

I will say though and it’s not really a spoiler .. once u get to TYBW … EVERY SINGLE episode is gonna feel like a movie

Dwayne Townsend

Love that Ron keeps it real .. one thing about bleach that differs from Naruto and one piece in my opinion is the mood and tone of the show … bleach is more serious thru out the show .. the mood is often filled with tension or angsty … the colors aren’t as bright .. it gives a somber feel sometimes which In my opinion can also affect the viewers mood if that makes since .. hence it can sometimes feel bland

Daniel Walker

I firmly believe it's always okay to give constructive criticism, especially if you enjoy/love something. I love Bleach to death, but I have also criticised it a lot. It's kind of like how u would tell ur sibling when they did something wrong, but that doesn't mean u love them any less. Thus... sadly it's correct when u say that the beginning part of this arc is sort of stretched out and drags during some moments. This arc also has the most filler and suffers from being butchered for TV. For example; in the manga the Rukia fight happens in one go because it's the highlight on this segment, yet in the anime they started with it, cutting it into parts and even re-using several moments. Production value was very low here. When I say I want a remake for Bleach, this arc is the one I believe deserves it the most!

Luker

Dont worry about your feelings so far. i love bleach but the first half of hueco mundo is def one of the worst arcs in the entire big 3 especially in the anime. its only up from here tho sushi squad.

Julien jackson

We are here to hear your opinions good and bad😂 there can be slow parts in great arcs!!!

Lionel De Jesus

Dont worry i hated bleach when i watched it for the first Time i had to watch it twice to like it

Soulrebel0902

Keep it real, yeah the pacing in this part is rough. But remember the saying it’s quiet before the storm.

Miggie88

Yea your not lying the last couple episodes were kinda filler, peaches and the other guy are kinda annoying lol

Miggie88

Just wait until tybw lol

Just_a_guy

God damn. The part where Ulqiorra is standing on the stairs behind ichigo and the walk down. Still one of the coolest moments

Luker

Huh? His comment clearly implies he likes the series now. So what does ur comment even mean

Noizon

On my 1st watch Ulqiorra felt like the next big enemy after aizen. I don't know why they are feeling like he is not the enemy here. him just using one hand is just the Anime showing us how strong he is lmao

Kayso

All good Ron I see what you mean. Not horrible but it has pacing issues here and there but good thing is we about to get to the lit episodes. Also if y'all can 165-167 as trip drop. If you can't its no big deal

Dwayne Townsend

Can we get ya’ll to react to those side episodes of when Garaa learned taijutsu and rocklee had his moment 🤷🏾‍♂️

TaterThots

They'd need to triple drop twice next week for that

Ryle

I disagree that it continues to go up. SPOILERS DON'T READ FURTHER. the fake karakura town arc is bad and notorious for its horrible pacing and lack of real threat. As tekking101 says "it's not so much of a war as more of a spectator sport." lol

지원

next week is 162-163 and 164-165 For that to happen, episodes 162 to 164 would also need to be a triple drop.

Alex

Yes this is the slow part of the anime. It should have been more hype but it got killed by pacing issues.

Mike Jfrog

valid criticism imo. Bleach has always been one of my favorites, and i grew up with the Big 3 so its certainly in my wheel house, but in general ive been less impressed with Tite Kubo as a storyteller. i don't want to color your own perceptions, but IMO Kubo's weakest asset is his beat to beat storytelling. thats probably a hot take, but his character design is stellar, his world building is awesome, but i stopped following Bleach because the storytelling imo starting getting pretty circular and bland.

Nero Luv

What rank do you guys think Ulquiorra is? 👀

지원

You think exactly the same as I do, but after watching the TYBW arc, my thoughts changed a little.

ichigo421

Honestly wouldn’t mind a single drop for 164 🤷‍♂️ or 164-167 if possible

Jagodina

Imagine if they had to sit through through random filler arcs halfway thru the slow parts of the main arcs lol

Wynter

Exactly. Tho I like how they’re interested in his character writing, but it seems they haven’t noticed how insanely powerful he is yet. Both hands in his pocket while a captain level character is using Bankai 😭 And he’s only used his hands so far. And I don’t know if they’ve payed attention to the fact that Aizen is only giving him all of the important tasks and completely trusting/relying on Ulquiorra’s judgement and capability.

Brandon Holmes

That one of the biggest problem with bleach. The pacing is bad in some parts of the arcs but fear not in TYBW the pacing gets way much better.

Luker

I wouldn’t say it’s bad by any means but yeah the anime version of that section is slow. But nothing compares to the slowness of early hueco Mundo and even some of the later fights in hueco Mundo.

Cadete

for me TYBW just confirmed how circular bleach is

Pandrix

I understand the criticism but I disagree. The way Kubo writes is very nuanced and uses a lot of poetic dynamics and character symbolism, there are many layers to Bleach rather than just the surface level story. It doesn't tell a story like OP or Naruto instead it blends poetry, philosophy, and psychological nuances. Loads of character narratives are subtexually reinforced throughout the series, theres also a ton of poetic writing, foreshadowing etc that require some deduction and it also doesn't spoofeed the audience as a story thats why people always have misconceptions or say it does not have writing or story. As a medium the manga generally is a better experience to showcase the type of metatexual storytelling Kubo showcases.

Mike Jfrog

like i said, i think his world building and by extension his "long term storytelling" is fine, what really pushed me away was the amount of "Worfing" (if you don't know what this is, it's from StarTrek, where the character Worf is presented as a very strong character, so to showcase how strong an adversary is, they have the adversary beat Worf) and i swear there was like a 20 chapter sequence that was the same sequence like 4 times of 1. new villain is presented and attacks the heroes, 2. flash to backstory of that random villain number 7's motivations and goals, 3. hard cut to them getting owned. 4. we never see them again. which is what i mean by "beat to beat" storytelling. but again, that's just my opinion

지원

you're right

gggoos

This part and the middle parts of the arc that starts around 210 is bad pacing. Rest is good/fine tbh. I'd say this is the worst part for pacing or what has lead up to this

XXI

Yes ron this part is where things are slow. It's the studio director's fault, Not the author kubo. Lots of padding

Nockz

Demon slayer is on Crunchyroll everyone

P3rcy

Oh boy a 2 for 1 special. A dog whistle AND a red herring?? Lmao

Tingz

Ron dw we as a bleach fanbase are mad chill and not toxic. We aren't delusional and act like bleach is perfect, we know when our fav series has slow pacing issues and mid moments . But its only in this arc imo. Other than that it's peak. Just wait until TYBW

Jay Mack

Yeah real fans are gonna tell you this is where the show loss people. The redundant annoying jokes etc but that ain’t on kubo that’s on the studio.

znake

Anime only issue, its sad how the Anime got done

znake

Bland? lol

znake

Its so sad The anime also completely ruined ppl’s perception of Orihime’s character

Jonymush

The pacing in this arc is mostly bad because of the forced humor I between important stuff. Things that can be easily cut if thr anime got remade. Anime remake would be godly for bleach specifically. The current arc that came out this past few years had the author heavily involved in the process and even added new scenes (godly) that the manga skipped over but was severely wanted/needed. I hope for the same treatment to a remake if we ever get one.

Alex

I feel like worfing is something that's endemic to all shounen, it's a fair criticism, but let's not pretend it's not all over every other series that we love, including the OG DB, which is probably the worst offender

Alex

Nah, there's one more little hiccup, which is the rest of the szayeloporro fight. The next arc takes it's time but it's really interesting the whole way despite that.

Masked Void

[Tidbits][Lotta Reading, My bad] - Bleach is phenomenal but not above criticism, and the general fandom is usually open to it as long as it's not something that's outrageously misunderstood. - In regard to the extended scenes of comedy, as many will have noted it's an issue for the anime-only. like most early 2000's long-running anime, they often had to prolong episodes to avoid catching up to the manga too quickly, so tactics like these were employed to achieve that. - Finally and most importantly. I must say this, cause it may open your perspective on this arc. You said it feels repetitive. Well, a major concept that Kubo employs here is an attempt to parallel the Soul Society arc (it's intentional); you, as the viewer/reader, are supposed to note the similarities. It's actually quite fascinating when you realize why it's done (I'll go into more detail when you guys finish the arc, cause I don't want to spoil) An obvious example is how Ichigo healed Ikkaku when he won during the SS Invasion, and here in the Hueco Mundo invasion, he does the same to Dordoni, but the difference is that, unlike with ikkaku, Ichigo is punished for it; therein, the mental lesson he gets is different. In general, these parallels are meant to bring to mind the position and roles of Shinigami and Hollows in the world and how these separate lenses affect Ichigo (amongst other things, but I'd have to write an entire book to explain it all.) I see some saying Kubo falters writing-wise here, but that is not true at all. It's more so that Kubo tends to pull back on the classic approach to shonen storytelling so it may confuse many, especially when he priortizes nuance, poetry, and themes over following the standard.

Masked Void

[Tidbits 2] - What's fascinating about Ulquiorra is that if you pay attention, you see that he's not attempting to be rude when speaking to Orihine, he's, asking genuine questions he doesn't seem to understand how or why she cares. In his mind, what they are doing is illogical. 2."I have no reason to kill you" Purpose is a big theme in this arc for Ichigo and the Espada, particularly each Espada has traits revolving around something I cant mention quite yet. Pay attention to how Ulqiourra keeps asking questions when it comes to people reacting emotionally. (As an aside the same applies to other main cast, here we saw rukia question what her purpose was, the same goes for Orihime, she questioned how she could achieve hers)

Nina

Tybw so overrated ngl nothing makes sense and the watching experience was the opposite of seamless with all the random fights cutting in. Nothing tied together hella plot holes and SO much cope with the writing just trying to come up with bullshit to make something make sense

Nina

Imagine having to sit through filler while one getting an episode a week and then the entire show goes on hiatus for a decade 🫩🫩🫩

SibirPrizrak

yeah its 100 the anime adaption at fault here

Ilsuk Yang

Seriously, though, Rukia had it rough with this fight (I hate that they broke it up over so many episodes and even left the fight to do other fights in their entirety before coming back to this one 🙄)! She's the first to encounter an Espada, albeit a weak one, while having to deal with her enormous guilt over Kaien 😢 Bleach doesn't make me full-on cry (I have One Piece for that lol...hiding real pain), but anytime there's anything to do with Rukia and Kaien brings me close. In the end, it was Aaroniero's arrogance that led to his downfall. Rukia didn't give up and she won 🥹 I will say, it's incredibly difficult to kill spiritual beings with high spiritual pressure.
