지원

yay !! Hi ~

Burn7G

Welcome back y'all!

TastyTango

Michelle is here, you can’t keep the queen down 🙏🏽❤️

RubberBuckyy

Sabo! Sabo! Sabo! That’s my goat 🔥🔥🔥

AR

Dattebayo

King_Diirt

Believe it take your time getting better 💖

Ikky

Bruh

Emmanuel Obeng

Based on Ron’s reaction when Luffy and usopp fight reminding him of his brother and this episode reminding him of being in a group home can tell you had a rough childhood. Such a kind person though you would never think so, shoutout to you bro for trying to be better than your past situations. Extreme respect 🤝🏾

Surya

There's no way you're 52 years old lmao can't fool me Ron

Dave

So happy to see Michelle doing better. Thanks for dropping this today, I’ve been depressed after watching Manchester United

Brandon Solerr

Ace talked about sabo when he was dying

지원

trust me this backstory is really great

Mario Prime Plays

Calling Roger the devil would probably be equivalent to a bunch of hood gangsters calling Hitler the devil or Saddam Heusen the devil. There’s levels to this so of course you think the biggest criminal in the world would be evil incarnate while what you’re doing is just trying to survive and get your paper up. At least that’s how I see Dadan’s perspective.

leisuresoccer

See I said you guys will love this episode 😁 miss his voice right? And his hair is yellow too!

PumpDaddyD

Pizza Fruit flies 🤣🤣🤣

Monkey D. Tomy

Effects of the yap-yap fruit. Too much yapping makes you say things that doesn't make any sense 😭😂

Noni

EEEYYY! Sabo is here!

Bunie

I get so much cuteness aggression with little Luffy 😭 he’s so CUTE and tiny

Mr lobster king He

Shanks relastionship wasnt planned when garp said “it was a mistake to leave you in windmill village” he didnt think shanks would often go there this is why he got taken to dadan so garp doesnt really have ties to shanks its just luffy

Micole

Michelle, pls don’t push yourself too much ❤️

Dadundudun

Michelle, you're right on the money! Sabo has influences from Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist. One of which is his appearance! Look up Artful Dodger pics and see for yourselves! There are more Dickens references in the future. Keep your eyes peeled! Also, Grey Terminal is based on a real world location called Smokey Mountain in Manila, Philippines. The One Piece is real! Oda references MANY mythologies, pieces of literature, and even historical events/figures. Sometimes he even blends multiple references into a single character/item/event/location. And, more often than not, there are very specific reasons why he chooses said references. If you're into literally analysis in any way, you can spend HOURS dissecting the world and story of One Piece. Thanks for sticking with this series!

EnzoTorales

It would be a miracle if they remember that

Mr. A

Just realized that Ace made his necklace the same as Dadan's...

wadad sk

Baby luffy is SOOO cute i'm so maternal over him

ao kaze

Garp’s having 3rd hokage’s way of taking care of children 😂 That’s why there was plenty of space for Shanks to sim in as a father figure

Michael H

Every job has sick leave…and vacation time…and weekends lol Don’t sweat taking some time off

ao kaze

Michelle said it, but she said they were so distraught that they couldn’t stop at that. But they remember Ron asking who is Sabo…miracle happened

Atsuki Basket

Luff always go after Ace. Since they were kids. Until Marineford 🙂

Dan Richa9097

I have fruit flies too, they are so freaking annoying, can't leave my window open or I'll be screwed. Yes, you heard Sabo name when yah were crying so not remembering it clearly tracks perfectly.

Saith D. Uchiha

See how Luffy in the flashback as a little kid is wearing a tank top with the number 56. No one knows the meaning of this yet just conspiracies but ODA draws that number on Luffy many many times so it has to have a meaning. Just a little Easter egg to look for.

E

Hell no

Michael H

Yeah, that was a nice spot by Ron. I had never noticed it either.

Aviator

did they skip 492? was that a filler?

Karaka

492 is filler

Brandocommando

Ron trying to get that Aizen haircut

Powered By Rice

ichigo (marco) and naruto(sabo) in one piece haha

Tacosareneat

Good catch Ron! Ace's necklace is the same kind as Dadan's.

Karaka

Shanks is more like an older brother figure to Luffy imo....I've never seen the "father and son" dynamic that other ppl see tbh

Sunny

Goku (Dr. Kureha) too

wonder777warrior

all well Michelle? Well done brotha Ron, tending your queen:) in sickness and in health. Lets get it!

LDragneel

Funny that Ron's prediction with how the story would go is right but can be so wrong at the same time XD

Ultimate Winner

I expect Garp to be killing tigers at age 5. ngl

Ultimate Winner

ngl its so funny when he kinda predicted the Shanks mention 5s before it even happens.

Bro D

It's cool to finally be caught up to yall uploads. This series has been awesome to binge.

David Barron

The next set of mid-episode screens become arc specific and not character specific in like the next 15 episodes so yea RIP the guessing game. It’s pretty much over now tbh.

Dandy Zoran

Fun fact as well: Aces VA is Piccolo from DragonBall.

Muhd Irvan

Yes the best backstory ever

B00GIEMANN_

How about we come together as a community and demand 3 episodes instead of 2😈 I’m selfish

TreyyMurphyy

Ace mentioned Sabo in his final moments

Phyllis

Ace did dropped Sabo's name right before he died. ASL forever!!! ❤️💙💛

Blue

yep sabo was first mentioned when ace was in luffy arms before he died.

Phyllis

Actually, 56 can be read as "go-mu"(5=go, 6=mu), meaning "rubber" (ゴム, gomu).

Adams

way too soon for shanks backstory

GentleCrank

Ron is really trying to look like Aizen

Whoopsie

I love the backstories in OP some of the best. There is no bad one and thats insane considering how long the series is.

I_am_Knowledge

6:42 Ron activating his inner Saitma

Luck64

Nah it can still be done for a bit still

SomeoneElse

This backstory is sooooo gooood

Aditya Parab

Me too, allergies are out of control

leisuresoccer

They can still play the guessing game in the future. It's not gonna be gone forever.

Loic Reviews

Ace defo mentionned Sabo in his final words to Luffy. By the way episode 497 through 499 are basically fillers, you can still watch 497 because it is "semi-filler".

Wsgyan

My favorite arc of the show

Ragged

Guys pls remember that Roger was literally touted as the worst criminal that even other criminals are either inspired, fear, or detest him.

Delinger

One of the best flashbacks in the entire series and One Piece is setting the bar pretty damn high.

Michael D. Yepez

Oh boy! You’re far from knowing that! You just wait

soa

big head tiny body luffy is so cute, i wanna squish him every time i see him. ify michelle

DY

nah man it's worth the watch, plus for me it's anime canon anyways

Wesley Gills

IVE BEEN SO READY FOR THEM TO WATCH THIS BACKSTORY

Vjong

I think Sabo’s name was mentioned 2 or 3 times before.

Natacha

Once when Ace was dying

Atlas Creation

People like you can’t help but run your mouth on things not revealed yet

John Colburne

Yeah Ace is wearing Dandan’s beads

Christina H.

I don‘t knowing you’ve noticed but Sabo was first mentioned in Marineford when Ace died.. so can‘t fault you if you didn’t catch it

油 ラー

Also Satotz from Hunter × Hunter, and Hantengu from Demon Slayer.

Saith D. Uchiha

That’s super cool I’ve never been told that just “ Internet theories”. By the way, got up and have been watching for many many years. I’m shocked. I’ve never been told this. Make sure to like your comment.

Ryuk

One of my fave arcs, jaya and gray terminal lezgooo🤜🤛

kirk poss

Very interesting catch Ron, there may be more to it that we don't even know about fully in the manga yet.

garri_d

Adds zero to story imo

KaTaKuRiii

You will now learning the meaning of Ace Tattoo (ASCE)

ElderOne

They have never officially say that...wiki inform us...so its ok to spoil exept if they want to look for it by themselfs...

Thomas Yang

Dattebayo.🤣🤣🤣🤣

JTsu

Datte Datte!

지원

yes it's good tho

Leandrorr

so we jumped 1 episode? i'm a lil confuse

Leandrorr

oh the previous was filler

Kayso

Naruto makes his debut lmao also yeah Ace mentioned Sabo to Luffy during his death. Y’all were too distraught to realize it. I don’t blame y’all ofc. And damn I just realized the Dadan and Ace necklace thing bruh lol nice catch Ron 33:21 - I won’t elaborate on it but idk why people won’t let y’all find out for yourselves about the middle screen thing so you will be surprised. The middle screen doesn’t go away though. You’ll see.

Kayso

Lol me too

lex

are they going to watch Fan Letter after this arc?

You_Know_Who

saying "come on ace and naruto" is crazy disrespect XD

Karaka

Not the exact same one but one designed in the same way

지원

after 522

Aristeidis Kapiris

Are they going to watch the Fishman Island Remake or the original, because the pacing kinda sucks in that arc?

watwilje

so glad to be subbed up just in time. this post war arc is still to this day in my top 2 arcs in all of one piece. cant wait to see your reactions

Dominic

Hopefully the original. They kinda butchered the remake by cutting out pretty good parts imo.

Darren Metts

All ima say about shanks bond with luffy is kinda clear he told Rayleigh about luffy saying the same thing as gol d roger and Rayleigh also saw a flash of roger looking at luffy
