Please, they watch a lot of shows. And they don’t watch like 20–30 episodes a day, so you guys should understand that too. It’s not like they forget everything, sometimes they remember important things too. There are many people who watch One Piece but can’t remember every detail, even the simple ones. People are just different. So yeah, just try to understand them.

Honestly, I kind of agree with both of you. Since they watch a lot of shows, it’s totally understandable that they might forget small details or things like that — that’s what the Sushi Squad is here for, to remind them of those things. But sometimes, when they really can’t focus and miss something important and then get confused about it later, I do feel a little bit disappointed. It’s nothing serious though, since the Sushi Squad members are always kind enough to explain things. Still, since they say they really like the show and have affection for it, I think it’d be nice if they could focus a bit more — or maybe, like some other reactors, pause for a moment after an episode or in the middle and jot down important-looking details in a notebook or something.

Your entire comment is literal proof why they need a recap they watch a bunch of stuff and a lot has happened plus they take breaks so it would be good to be reminded of certain plot devices and the story so far. It’s a long show. But let’s not act like all of us aren’t also watching several shows as well. I started one piece in 2018 and I remember these types of things but if I don’t a recap doesn’t hurt. I’m watching 10 right now plus a few that are weekly so about 15 and I remember small details but not everybody is like that it’s okay to be reminded of what has happened

Love your reactions but I honestly suggest doing recaps every now and then. Considering how long One Piece is it’s very easy to forget things…especially the important details that may come up later and for you guys its gonna be extra hard because of how you have to keep up with so many different shows simultaneously. There’s a Reaction channel called Boldcast and they do dedicated podcasts for each One Piece arc they finish…something like that is a good way to keep a good track of things like names, factions, plot lines etc… I’m not saying you should do something exactly like that but more time to discuss One Piece is definitely needed considering it’ll be the show that will be on your channel the longest And with an addition like this your enjoyment level will definitely rise and you’ll also be able to predict things and come up with theories a lot easier.
