Hi Ron & Mich! Been a Patreon member since May 2022, but actually started subscribing to your YT channel shortly after coming across your 'BF first time reaction to Anime' for Demon Slayer. Are yall gonna react to the OP opening 1-15? Most reactors usually release their reaction to the OP around the Fishmen Island arc. They are incredibly nostalgic & at this stage, there are no spoilers at all in the first 15 openings too =D

Tacosareneat

Ronnnn how you gonna have a wife that DOESNT know what the thizzle dance is, or even Mac Dre at all? C'mon bro. A husband needs to lookout for his wife (☞ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)☞

Kayso

You guys took it right, Arlong & Shyarly are blood siblings. Now Jimbei and Arlong and all them aren't actually related they just called eachother brother since they're close like brothers, they grew up together. Also Shirahoshi is not Orihime VA lmao. And where is the Zoro hoodie from? I love it

Klaudio Ladavac

Honest question…did you guys got spoiled by how Luffy looks in latest currently ongoing episodes? I feel like it is impossible not to see it if you google anything OP related or even just open Netflix and it is just there in your face.

Phyllis

So Hordy used the word 'Ani(兄)' when referring to Madam Sharley's brother which actually means Arlong is Madam Sharley's actual real brother by blood. On the other hand, those that are not real brothers by blood but are close, they call their big brothers 'Aniki' which also means brother(but like a big bro or big boss sense). We hear many of them call Fisher Tiger, Jimbei, Arlong, Hordy etc that cause the fish men look up to them. Also, the ship is called Noah, if it hasn't ring a bell yet.

Kaviyan

Someone drop the link or name of that zoro top that Ron has on

SomeoneElse

I second this pls someone help

ScavengerRPG

The Noah reference of the boat is reference to Noah's Ark based off the early Genesis of the Bible, in case yall haven't caught on it yet.

idkwhy

Madam Sharley's VA is also the VA for Hitsugaya Toshiro (Bleach), Temari (Naruto), Edward (FMA), Hange (AOT), Nana (Nana), and many more. Romi Park is one of my favorite VAs of all time.

man this arc drags so much, glad you guys are enjoying and great reactions, but this arc is one of the hardest for me on a re-watch. I appreciate what Oda did, and the story, and how it ties into the rest of the lore, but man i can't wait till we get to stuff coming xD. OP still my favorite anime tho!

Mamox

i wouldn't even point it out to them my man. If they see it they see it, the reaction will still be good IMO. Like you said, its almost impossible not to at this point. Let them turn a blind eye and dont point it out or bring attention to it in my opinion is the best way to approach.

Dandy Zoran

All for Ones VA is ironically Blackbeard's.

Avery Burchfield

Still can’t forgive Toei for the pacing and awful added Sanji content. Such an amazing arc and luckily Oda’s writing overshadows (for the most part) any problems that the anime brings

Sezume

I really hope to see your onepiece openings reaction from 1 to 14 😭

Ivandro Moreira

They don't use the word brother loosely. You have 2 things. 1st, when calling brother for affinity(and not real blood brother), only the person calls him directly that. Like Arlong calling Tiger Brother. But you don't get a 3rd person talking to Arlong and saying "Your brother". At most you hear they say "he is like a brother to you" or "They are like brothers". 2nd, In japanese in fact the words for affinity and blood relative are different. "Aniki" is brother of affinity, and Onisas or Ani(informal), is brother from blood. Sharley is in fact Arlong Sister!

Faded Eclipse

The doflamingo arc later on is gunna be soooooooo long XD

Aaron williams

To be honest i don’t think the pacing is as bad as people make it out like for the time when it originally came out it makes sense why it was paced this way. But it didn’t age the best still tho

Avery Burchfield

I just compare it to the manga, and that’s why it upsets me. Its pacing is pretty much on par with other anime from the time

Lee

I thought I was the only one who randomly says "Kurosaki-kun"

Karaka

Why would they be half? It’s not mentioned anywhere that they are half

SpartanManJDOGG

That is what is on the wiki. Probably in a vivre card where most information about characters are.

3lliott

Imagine a fan letter type episode for this arc. Seeing the pov of a random citizen who hates humans and watches his county fall apart. Or one of the human slaves that hordy captured who just wants to be free(iykyk). Both of them seeing luffy and having their views change would be awesome
