지원

let's f gooooooooooooo

Brandocommando

YOU DROPPED A 💣 ON ME……BABY!!

miho

I've been waiting for you!!

Michael D. Yepez

It is cannon guys! And the singer at the ending is kenshi. He is the one from the first opening too. His voice is just so awesome and the meaning on the name of the song goes so well with reze. It’s just pure cinema!

YaHuurdMe

Makima’s powers are classified even to the likes of us, for now…

RubberBuckyy

This movie is 100% canon and has an impact on the story. Not just best anime movie of the year but one of the best movies in general of the year, absolute cinema. Also you’re not supposed to have a clear understanding of makima’s powers so don’t worry.

Peaceful Remedy

I love how much I enjoyed this movie still even after watching it in theatres already 😌 definitely my favourite non ghibli anime movie

FrenchLee

It’s been a long time so im not sure but i think they will explain a lot more about Makima in the season that’s coming out

Rollie253

It's canon. This part of the arc was better as a movie

Carlos

I was looking forward to your reaction the most. This is probably my favorite series and it feels so good to have it receive a top tier adaptation so far. Hope you guys have a good break and happy holidays 🧛🏻‍♀️

Dannilo

Oh man, Angel being "the cupid" when he shot the spear in Reze's Heart, while she fall in love with Denji, so good, man.

Username123

Yes this movie is cannon, it’s what happens in the manga right after the events of season 1

Kiowa

You guys notice makima swaying her mug to the tune reze is singing

Cixi Ri

you have to react to Jane Doe's MV

DerpHonk

It finally took me until this reaction to realize, but Makima's analogy of the dogs rooting out the mice is just Denji rooting out foreign agent's like Reze. Everyone wants the Chainsaw Devil's heart. Can't wait to find out what for!

지원

yesssssss ed reaction !!

Saint Bonnie🎭™ 🆁🅲🅰

OST was a masterpiece, same composer did the ost for the anime and he also did the first & second seasons of Dandadan he genuinely DONT miss 💯

fairy5100

Just in case you thought those spears that came down from the sky and killed Reze were Makimas powers, they weren’t. Those were the Angel Devils powers, he can make weapons like that. Basically Makima just using someone else again

Damion Garcia

makima powers are classified in the show so far but she also likes the country mouse

KD

Look Back next?

Subieflow1318

Lets gooo! Second time watching it and it’s for sure 10/10, can’t wait for the next arc

Sezume

It’s so good 💣 and you guys need to watch Jane Doe video

Rob

"Why does his voice sounds familiar ?" Because you heard the same voice in the OP one hour before Michelle 😅 That's Kenshi Yonezu, he sang season 1's OP, the movie's OP and it's him again in this ED

Kevin

All the hybrids like Denji and reze can be revived as long as they get blood.

Andrew

Yooo I only noticed it through this rewatching it. Terrifying. Everything about her is terrifying lmao

Centt

Wait a minute...Nicholas Light is your cousin!!?? Nice!! hahaha..btw the location of Reze cafe..stairs that being use by her & phonebooth are all real location and it's already iconic by all the fan..they even put the flower at the phonebooth..btw..you guys should react to Jane Doe music with the lyric..btw the song is sang by Kenshi Yonezu

Helpy

The song during the Typhoon fight reminded me of Dandadan so much, NOW I SEE WHY

MichaelD99

Demon Slayer infinity castle > chainsaw man

Patrone07

That was the angel that ultimately beat the bomb devil before she could transform makima was just a distraction

Zach Adam

I saw it as my first ever 4dx movie and it was amazing🤩

Dee

I like to imagine that if Denji agreed to run away with her during the festival, she would have taken it. Pain...

Anmol Chauhan

perfect mixture of slice of life and action....

rin

is nicholas light actually your cousin...

Erik Matteus

Wow this movie gives me a whole new appreciation for Chainsaw man. I only heard about this story from seeing Pochito stuffed animals and seeing ep 1 years ago. That was really beautiful direction, seeing her walk away after Denji revives her was so sad - and then obviously the ending. I'm still in shock

100Rainy

Bro came back with a tactical vest midway thru the movie 😂

Ty Tang

oh god a nicholas light shoutout is crazy

Will

I knew the movie was about to be peak but It was peaker that I thought😭🔥🔥🔥

Will

It’s in the manga, It’s canon

Jay rellim

im so curious - im anime only and ofc only saw s1 before the movie, why do so many ppl say "hell yeah" or seem excited/happy when makima asks denji on the date?? lmao i think i interpret makima 1000% differently than others. denji has -1000% chance to get with her. i think from ep 1, 2, and whatever episode she told him about the gun devil it's clear she is just using denji (and aki). she seems like a cold expert manipulator from s1 in my eyes. she only flirted with denji just to do "carrot and stick", immediately cutting it off then asking him a "favor" lmao

Damien Lee

This movie is canon. The after effects of this directly leads to the next arc This is 100x more epic if you watch it in iMax And the ending song Jane Doe, sadly summed up Reze. Dead alone with nobody knowing anything

Damien Lee

Infinity castle was all just fancy brain dead fights. CSM had actual development

Jay rellim

like how do ppl not hear denji say "makima found my heart, so it belongs to her" and not think "omg you poor manipulated kid who is being strung along since you have the emotional experience of a 5 year old" 😭 free denji from makima till it's backwards!!!

Chris Bogomas

Bruh I saw this 4dx amazing they adapted it perfectly

P3rcy

And Hikaru Utada

Jay rellim

39:48 lmao michelle i actually saw "the shining" for the first time last week hahah perfect time to get this reference. such a good movie, cant believe it was made in 1980

botanbutton

Shouldn't compare them. They both have super strengths and are telling two different stories and the all animation and art style is suited to those stories. I say this as a super DS fan that watched Infinity Castle in theater.

botanbutton

They're not real cousins, he's just saying that 😂

botanbutton

He is definitely on my S-teir composer list at this point.

Adam

This was so good

Lizzylizh

not Ron wearing a weighted vest

Brandon Solerr

it was the angel devil dat killed reze not makima

Joey 104

This deserves all the praise it gets. And good reaction to it.

Mavoal

did you realize that among everyone who always wants to kill denji, they all address him as chainsaw, Reze only villain to always call him denji💔🖤 even in his chainsaw form

Mavoal

yeah they had forgetten you can't touch the Angel devil or else you lifespan is reduced, it just shows Aki character even more🖤

So

lol reaction was great and W THENX

Soulrebel0902

This was a top three movie I saw in theaters this year

Avery Lewis

this movie was great in theaters but i like the demon slayer movie a little more still lol love your reactions!!

Kayso

Phenomenal movie definitely 1000/10 the animation is chefs kiss. So much detail put into it. We had some little romance slice of life vibes to eventually some great action. When Reze bit off Denji's tongue the movie took a crazy turn. I suspected her from the very start lmao. She's bat shit crazy and she strong as hell. I pronounce Reze as Ree-zay, like Rize from Tokyo Ghoul remember her? But might be pronounced differently I could be wrong. Glad your finger is doing better Ron. Y'all have a great xmas. Happy holidays everyone.

Captain Kebap

DS Movie was also Fire but i think this one is overall the better movie. DS was like 80% Flashback and Backstory. Way too much, I almost fell asleep several times but in this movie here, never so good. Perfect Pace

Kayso

I feel stupid, I thought Makima killed her at the end but it was the Angel dude lmao. Still love Makima though I feel like she would have been able to kill her

Kayso

They're on Xmas break for a week 24th-31st

Avery Lewis

ohhh fair, im different lol i was so engage with demon slayer movie, also almost cried in it, with the chainsaw man, i wasn't as engage in it, was amazing still but for me, wasn't up there

Gaboo_GP

In the pool scene, the metaphor of the spider and the butterfly can be interpreted as actually Denji catching Reze... She was supposed to kill him from the start (That's why her hand was in her neck when they meet each other) but then she actually started to realize how much alike they were, she understood him and wanted to help him... eventually falling in love

Smith

I was holding off watching this cuz was gonna rewatch all again but fuck it yous acc brighten up my day any vid so this will be an unreal watch !

Indifferent Denji

Michelle: I love the cinematography and tone of that scene it was really well done! Ron : I hope she gouges his eyes out!

Phoenix

This movie really solidified my hatred for Makima lol like Reze is best girl for sure, she and Denji would've been so good for each other, real love right there. I wish they could've run away together.

Tingz

Definitely ship Makima and Denji! I dont see how people want Reze and Denji together i mean difference of opinion but man she tried to kill him and she has also killed innocent ppl. I can see if her feelings for him was real but it was all fake and pretend which she even admitted. So wanting them together is kinda toxic imo. Denji was literally with Makima, peaceful, enjoying himself, she was nice to him, wasn't trying to kill him etc lol

Péter Gutschelhoffer

Brother you need to work on not just watch but understand what you watch. Makima was literally hinted in this movie by Beam that she has connections to the gun devil (or forces) and that Reze's feelings was true which she was too afraid to realize until the very end.

Smith

Tbh just stay away from everything chainsaw man cuz the rest of it is peak then watch all agsin when next bit is out

Tingz

I absolutely understand what I watch, what you just said I already know. Still doesn't negate the fact that Reze killed innocent ppl and tried to kill Denji. Makima isnt super innocent or whatever she is really mysterious. Who's to say that those connections to gun devil could be false maybe, maybe not. Season 2 may have answers

Elijah

Anime movie of the year imo... SOOOO good... I personally love an imperfect love story and this one was just so beautifully chaotic

Elijah

Always gonna get me with a story of two lovers wanting to run away together against all odds, knowing what they know and still choosing to love each other with their flaws. Oof... Damn this was executed so well...

Nessa J.

I preferred the Demon Slayer movie to this one as well, I watched both in theaters. I don't know what happened with the audio but the audio mix from the Chainsaw Man movie was pretty low... Whereas the music in DS was phenomenal. And I preferred the fights in DS, much clearer and easier to understand, than those in this movie. Also, no studio can beat Ufotable's animation style, although Mappa still did a very good job, in my opinion.

Nessa J.

I personally didn't really like the movie when I watched it in theaters, I was bored during the first part of the movie (I hate Makima and the whole "Denji wants to date her" skit) and then too stimulated during the second half, so much so that I had forgotten about the ending before a friend of mine reminded me of it. I watched it again at home and preferred that experience. For me, it's a very nice movie to watch at home, with an awesome soundtrack, but not so much in theaters : it felt like a reallyyyyy long anime episode that I could've watched on Crunchyroll. It didn't hype me up for what's to come as we have no new info at all, even about the dream. However, apparently, things are going to get really good, according to the manga readers so I'll trust them and see what's next.

Kai

*anime only* the show doesnt really have a lot of substance imo and i find the characters to be cool/funny but lack depth BUT it is the beginning of the show so cant really judge too hard yk but still i dont really see it happening. coo animation and fights tho lololol

Daniel Johnson

Denji packed up his things to run away with her 😭😭 I liked watching this even more the second time went from 4.5/5 to 5/5 for me perfect movie

Watcher123

this might be the biggest ragebait comment i ever seen btw im also anime onlu

little ark

i dont think we can make an argument about how reze is a murder when denji is just as bad, danji doesnt really value human life at all and has on killed a many people just because.

Tingz

That's fair enough I guess its bias there since he is the MC but u right tho

XXI

that was sad af.... poor Denji.. and im not easily led by emotions too. 💯

SirGeel

beams VA is also Tanjiros VA, the gun devil killed millions in one blast so Reze is not stronger at all. Loved this movie and Reze character, truly would've been nice to see Denji with her but Makima i feel was watching the whole time, I think Makima is pure evil.

SirGeel

Hell no reze even said Makima? that witch has you in the palm of her hand so it wouldn't matter if we ran away, i think makima is pure evil with her own plot in mind. she keeps secrets from everyone

Phyllis

You have heard the male singer Kenshi Yonezu who sung the first Chainsaw Man opening song 'Kick Back'. The Reze arc movie opening song is 'Iris Out' by Kenshi Yonezu and ending song 'Jane Doe' is by Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada(famous singer who sung 'First Love').

Will_J

on them hot summer days when being outside can be miserably hot....an a/c filled day of movie hopping was to the go-to play. Just had to be on the slow days when staff didn't really care to pay attention.

Sinhsieusao

I like your energy, but unfortunately I don’t think you fully understand the character’s inner depth.

212

same like with the country and city mouse theme, and makima controlling the mice....

Gromnom

WASTE HER THANK YOU!! IDC ABOUT HER LOVE WITH DENJI!! SHORTY BLEW UP JAPAN AND KILLED HUNDREDS!! I DO NOT FEEL BAD FOR HER!

Jay rellim

denji throw a car full of old ppl at a devil, killing them all so tbh same for him. multiple deaths are multiple deaths, execute homie

Gromnom

Not necessarily a fan of denji either, keeping him alive is clearly a detriment to the safety of all parties…

Atlas Creation

They really don’t. I’m not sure they even understand makima is not a good person and every single interaction she had in this movie was manipulation. Ron saying hell yeah to the date disappointed me

Caleb Surratt

Super late to watch this didn’t know it got posted this far back but I DEFINITELY recommend a rewatch the foreshadowing is crazy in this movie but you don’t notice it till 2nd watch

Mando23

Bro this movie is so peak and better than anything I saw in season 1 lol

Novelle

I kinda hate Makima lol. Shes terrifying 😭
