Guys just please remember SAD is a component that is used to make SMILE - an experimental Devil Fruit. Cesar is making it for Doflamingo, who is known in the underground -essentially the Black Market as Joker. Rumor is that one of the Emperors is in the market to buy off these fruits to create the largest and strongest devil fruit army in the world. and Cesar said that Law wants to destroy this operation and basically rile up all the big names interested in purchasing these artificial fruits and cause mayhem in the new world. This is the structure of all that is happening at this point in the story. Please dont forget this several episodes later....

For the question of who threw the note to Chopper, I believe it was Law because if you remember, he didn't have sea prison chains on. He told us he switched them out beforehand when he was roaming the island during his stay. Also if you rewatch the scene when Chopper gets the note I'm pretty sure the sound of Law's room ability was used when the note was thrown or popped up in Chopper's face. Obviously we don't know when or how Law even managed to make a room in the first place without them noticing, but my head tells me Law prepared this whole thing to work out like this so he maybe made a huge ass room to the point you can't even tell your in his room? If that makes sense.

They’re totally sleeping on the deep lore, like that guy on the podcast with Ron, I bet he just cherry picked the hype episodes and then had the nerve to call it a kid's show. Yeah, sad thing is this is actually so real. May not be the exact experiment (or may be it is, who knows at this point) but easily something just as bad in real life. Oda was able to sprinkle so much of real life horrific events into his masterpiece of a story.

Luffy is the definition of freedom. When he pulls up, u know things will b okay. We might get hurt along the way, but it’s the hope that he embodies that it’s all going to end and we’ll b free. I wish we had a real life Luffy. Someone make powerful ppl watch OP n change the world.

I strongly disagree with that take. Talking your way out of a situation will never ever be a bad thing, it just shows you can’t or don’t have to resolve anything by fighting. Going into a fight randomly don’t make you a better mc. Thinking twice about who you’re facing and how to approach different situations is imo WAY more interesting than just « I fight whoever and that’s it ». I think they’re just very different MC, both good. If anything I’d say Ichigo is the most interesting of the 3 because he’s not the shonen cliché, he doesn’t seek greatness or some kind or grand achievement that stays through the whole story. Or Shinra as well is quite a better mc I think (I don’t include seinen MC bc imo they’re better by far). The difference between Naruto and Luffy is that the people they face are very different. Naruto faced some people who deserved/needed to be brought back to reason, luffy face people you just have to beat up… Naruto wouldn’t talk so much in OP’s verse and Luffy would talk more in Naruto’s verse. That’s is, it’s incomparable

To go off of that I also agree that ichigo is the better out the three, but what truly make luffy the better mc in my eyes is the fact that his persona is to always fuck someone up that is messing wit his friends and he doesn’t care how strong they are bc he knows he’s strong but when he got to a point that he wasn’t strong enough he was smart to realize to run away from the situation in sabaody which is not a luffy thing to do. Even telling them to run they still got caught and luffy endured all that pain and then later on dealing with marineford and that changed his perspective in the long run. Making him get stronger and have the confidence that he once had and giving that character development with naruto its been the same since he was a child honestly, just talking to the enemy and make them look at what they are doing in a perspective and it works, it’s just more bland and boring and honestly if i think of a normal or basic mc naruto is what i think of someone who has a big goal and achieving it there is obstacles but in the way of the obstacles he tries to promote peace
