Justin O

Never Back Down is one of my favorite bad movies 😂

Julien Mitchell

Your about to find out why doflamingo is not only the best one piece villain but one of the best villains in anime

harinder

Crazy how Admiral Aokiji was about to end all LOL

Str8vib3s

u guys went to tokyo without me😐

DANP

Jaay Clips

haa man only 100 ep later

Galaxy Nemesis

Oh wow you are in Tokyo!? Welcome! I highly recommend a Miyazaki Prefecture Style Chicken Nanban Restaurant called Himuka Shokudo in Akihabara. It's CRAZY good, extremely popular and exotic since the food they serve is usually only available in Miyazaki. Next time you guys come your invited to Nagano if you want to Ski I also run a anime Cafe out here that will be open next month. Enjoy Japan HMU if you guys need any recommendations. I live here full time and have been visiting for 10 years haha.

Why DNA

Someone pointed this out while I was watching a review of this arc, Oda disrespected Smoker. He gets beaten by Law then gets a second beaten by Vergo, then gets a third beaten by Doffy. Smoker was untouchable in the beginning and now he took 3 Ls in an arc 😢

I_am_Knowledge

For me it felt like Oda was showing why it was important for strawhats to train or else that would be their fate

Fellerz

First one is good the other 2 was bad

Michael H

Momo taking full advantage of his youth

Michael H

I like to think they hire a totally separate VA for the dugong. They just come in, go, “KERRRBERGEER”, and leave.

Michael H

Where are you guys on the One Pace possibility? Sorry if you’ve already addressed it; I just haven’t been paying attention. I liked this arc regardless, but this is definitely where people start to really feel the pacing, and I know a lot of people say the One Pace version significantly improves the arc (I haven’t seen it myself).

Tacosareneat

They have said a few times they're not going to do it. A few weeks ago Ron was making fun of people who criticized one pieces pacing too, was a bit of a bummer. I think there's still a decent chance it becomes unbearable to them in the next arc tho

Tacosareneat

*says the stupidest shit and refuses to elaborate*

Luck64

what?

Luck64

no one pace W

Chillin Raichu

I miss Tokyo so much. Was there 2011 and 2013

Bibi

I do think the pacing is bad but not too bad. I personally think they should stay with the original

Bibi

Cannot wait for the discussion! Also, I hope you're enjoying Japan but be careful with spoilers!😂

Chillin Raichu

40-0 Ron. Michelle cant compete 🔥

Phyllis

Aokiji's silhouette and voice was shown a few episodes ago when we saw Doflamingo otw to Punk Hazard. That was the voice and siilhouette you failed to recognize. I can't wait for Dressrosa not because of the fights but because of one. >.< And also the many backstories.

Chillin Raichu

Doflamingo is one of my favorite villians and Aokiji is very impactful

AR

Dressrosa is one of the best arc

Kaviyan

Dressrosa is a very good arc but the pacing is not the best. One thing I will say is most people will say it’s terrible due to when we were getting 1 episode a week when it was getting released weekly. It might have been the worst period for one piece, I think we were watching dressrosa for 2 years real time and felt like it would never end. But with reactors doing 6 episodes a week it isn’t too bad. Besides this arc has almost everything you want. Best villain, some of the best back stories, lore, and most definitely world building. But switching to 9 episodes a week for this arc is a suggestion and you guys can decide after watching 20-30 episodes or so.

AndrGvR

F Aokiji!

Henzz

Like they said be careful with one piece spoilers. I saw them everywhere in Japan before I was even into one piece

Kaviyan

I don’t know if this a spoiler or not but if so I’ll remove it. But I love how in one piece we get shown different power scales. Like how doffy pulls up to punk hazard and destroys smoker who is a vice admiral but then we get kuzan who pulls up and would wipe the floor with doffy. Similar to when we got introduced to kizaru for the first time and he just seemed unstoppable at saboady but then we get Rayleigh who goes toe to toe with him. And then After that at marineford, we see marco go toe to toe with him. One of the things I love about one piece.

Chillin Raichu

FACTS. Look at the worst generation. Most of them getting slapped around the New World

Chillin Raichu

Very nostalgic movie you brought up Ron. You gotta be 33-36 yrs old

laflame

Removing the pacing Dressrosa my fav arc ever…. The story, lore, characters, fights, secrets, backstories😤, plot twists, island

Michael H

Cool, thanks, I’m good with that

The CulturedGentleman

Not even Doffy is stupid enough to take on Aokiji who isnt bound anymore by government rules.

Chillin Raichu

I hope they caught the fact that Akainu is the Fleet Admiral now

Kayso

We don't have crew member end of every arc but there's special times where its alliances like with Law. Just like in Alabasta Vivi joined the crew for a while but wasn't permanent in the crew. It's Dressrosa not Dress'a'rosa

Kayso

Go back to last reaction at the end of episode 621 around the 19min mark where it was a mysterious figure and you guys didn't know who it was. That was Aokiji lol

Vidilian

Some people have kinda said it already, but Aokiji would destroy Doffy. Remember, Admirals were the strongest force the Navy at Marineford.

RubberBuckyy

“Not too bad”? The pacing at one point becomes 0.2 chapters an episode, that’s the worst pacing I’ve ever seen.

Seven

Kuzan is cold as ice and his aura is 🔥

Michael H

@RubberBuckyy I mean, as long as the padding is entertaining, the chapter count doesn’t really matter, in my opinion. The biggest issue for me is that this is the arc that starts having ridiculously long openings and recaps.

kevin

kuzannn

Dadundudun

Dressrosa easily has the WORST pacing in the whole series. I really hope it doesn't sully their experience too much. I had read it before watching it, so I bore with it just to see it animated.

Saith D. Uchiha

I want to Add ODA said to the fanbase to Stop calling out Momonosuke (I misspelled did my best) for being a pervy kid for us to shut up we are ruining it for the young boys, which tells me I did not do this as a young boy. Let me know if you did. ODA as a little kid knew he could dive right into titties.

Chillin Raichu

22:14 Why is Michelle trying to mimic Doflamingo’s hand gestures so cute lmao

Moneyman4lyfe

there it is, is someone gunna die question, wouldnt be right without it

leisuresoccer

That penguin is Aokiji's pet In case you guys don't know, Kuzan is his real name.

ListenHome李勝宏

Quote of the episode: 36:22—Michelle: “You're such a little shit.”

Mando23

Doffy is one of the best villains in anime history next to Aizen, frieza and madara.

Danny

I feel like you guys kind of looked over the fact doffy has conquerors haki lol. remember anyone is able to master observation haki and armament haki, but conquerors haki is incredibly rare and only possessed by 1 in 10 million people and even then not all who possess it are able to master it. it is also seen as “those who have the qualities of a king”. until now you’ve only known of shanks, whitebeard, rayleigh, and hancock possessing it. And then you saw ace use it unintentionally as a child, but he never mastered it. doflamingo having mastered conquerors haki is a pretty big deal lol. that alone should tell you how powerful he is compared to the previous villains you’ve seen in one piece.

CJ

Random, but I always get lowkey thrown off when I’m watching these stream recordings here on Patreon then I hear Ron say things like “hey btw we’re four weeks ahead - on Patreon…” Especially without the disclaimer of “if you’re watching us on YouTube…” beforehand lol. I mean, no biggie bcuz I get that he’s saying it for the YT audience bc that’s where I used to watch them before I caught up there and decided to switch to Patreon for the next 4 weeks of content + better quality. And they prob never thought to edit that part out just to reinsert when they upload to YT, but It’s just kinda funny how I still get triggered each time thinking that there’s some other platform where they’re ANOTHER 4 weeks ahead of even the Patreon uploads 😅

Chillin Raichu

Ron gonna be like, “Is Aokiji a warlord?”

Katrina Dy

Did someone point out that u might have missed Chopper saying "wait till i treat him" to when sanji kicked Caesar. sooo he's so nice, but he was also for beating him up lol

ItsJwon

Law is a captain himself, heart pirates

Liza

Into the new arc, lets go. And again these Luffy pop ups in here and from your other reactions, looks so good.

David S.

This was a cool scene with doffy smoker and aokiji. Any scene with conquerors haki is cool

Nico Erbella

kuzan would win in a fight vs doffy

PumpDaddyD

Damn a lot of catching up to do 😆 which is good haha.
