The third Hokage got done dirty by the studio, a lot of the scenes that make him look bad are not in the manga. He provided Naruto with a house and all the necessities he needed, the one massive flaw was he didnā€™t provide Naruto with a jonin to look after him.

Tbh About the third hokage..the same could be said for Kakashi and jiraiya. Granted they were also doing there own thing and they didnā€™t make that promise or maybe didnā€™t even know who naruto was which wouldnā€™t make senseā€¦ but they still couldā€™ve helped the kid out regardless. Episode 181 picks up with chapter 16 of 80 in the manga. Imagine skipping a big chunk of the anime canon then we are randomly investigating a blimp crash, not knowing shit about Mugino, 2 Kara members dead, and Boruto knowing 3 chakra natures. A lot of it is unimportant but people canā€™t deny how fluently they connect it to manga material.

It's hard to say "has" in context of elements in this universe. Aren't you overlooking the fact, during the 5th Ninja War vs Obito/Madara, the Allied Shinobi Forces were instructed how to construct a simple Earth Barrier? If the lowest shinobis did it in that fight, surely Naruto (who had to study for years before he became Hokage) would be able to aswell.

its definitely possible to learn japanese through anime but it does take longgg. im at an intermediate level in japanese, can have convos with japanese ppl for hours and all the jp i learnt is from anime and dramas. its definitely possible! you just wont be fluent bc you will struggle to speak despite being able to understand most things. if youre only learning japanese now, id say do lessons as well as watching anime with the intent of learning. good luck !!!

I mean in the 3rd hokages defense at least he came and visited Naruto from time to time well in fillers at least but kakashi and jariyah didnā€™t even bother looking after or even checking in on Naruto until they were basically forced to and they were way closer to minato then the 3rd hokage ever was. So they should at the very least be equally to blame for how he was raised as a little kid.

I know that the Third was busy being Hokage. Still, he had the power to assign people who knew Naruto's situation to look after Naruto until he graduated from the academy. At an extremely young age, Naruto was expected to do everything on his own. Maintain a household, budget, shop, learn the everyday things that children learn to get by in the world, going through school without the benefit of an adult at home to help him with his homework, etc. In one of the light novels (canon), Naruto was so feared and hated by the villagers that the only shop owner who would grant him access was the ramen guy. The Third, I'm sure, was aware that shop owners wouldn't let him shop. He could have, at the very least, had someone do the shopping for him or go with him to the shops. There was a lot more the Third could have done as Hokage without taking the time himself to do it.
