Reggie stated that megumi's other shikigami are one trick ponies, so when they are summoned you pretty much know how they will be used. Demon dog is an all arounder so it's less predictable.

My guess is Takaba is very broken because he doesn't know it. This show already shown us that restriction on your power gives them boost, as shown with Nanami. So my guess is if he somehow figured out the condition/reasoning for his power, the output is significantly weaker. It also weakened by Takaba himself, he seems to have goofy humor. But tbf if your personality is gloomy, then the power might not be effective either way like Megumi or Yuuji. As I dont think they would ever find death funny. or in the case of megumi, a lot of thing are not funny. So its technically the most op power, maybe even above Infinity. But in practical use, its very questionable in power.

I don't think anybody is ready for Takaba. šŸ˜‚ I wouldn't say Megumi has changed, I just feel like he's panicking so he's doing anything, even things that go against his nature. His sister means everything, so he'll still listen to her voice, a voice of reason, to do the right thing. Walking down Remi to kill her would not have been just or right. She's a weakling that has been dragged into the Culling Games and she even got out of his face like he said to do. He threatened her which had her skedaddling outta there, so it was very out of character for him to go after her in the first place.

And I also realized that they are the same Shikigami we saw when Kenjaku walked out Yujiā€™s middle school occult club member friend outside of the Sendai Colony when the Culling games first began. So many little details connected across all the episodes!

it wasn't out of character Megumi still needed points, but i don't even think that's the main reason he did it. She basically led him to his death, the battle with Reggie took so much out of him he's insanely lucky angel was there. Remi was basically stopping Megumi from achieving his goal and that's protecting his sister the person he cares most abt . Megumi is not just gonna let that go he killed two dudes Reggie/and the claw dude, practically for the same reason, but he would've never run into those dudes if it weren't for her. Megumi called her out on this n called her a scumbag

Also mitchell is right it has to be something thats funny to him and also if takaba was aware of his power it would actually go against him. Like yes it has the POTENTIAL to oppose gojo but in an actual fight gojo would win because takaba isnt aware nor can he be aware of his powers because it would end up being a comedian trying to force a joke for the sake of it instead of it being natural like his powers is supposed to be. Nah, the mere fact that he turned around at the behest of his sister's voice in his head, despite her not being there, says that he knows that was wrong. He even chastised himself when he killed that first guy. He killed Reggie because Reggie was not gonna let him go, it was literally self defense at that point. He got lucky that Reggie even gave him those 41 points. And, if he told Remi to "get outta here don't let me see your face again", he knew it was wrong to kill her or at least against his own self policy. He had already been warning Remi the whole time to leave, he even saved her dumbass when he could have killed her right there. Also he'd be WASTING time and energy to get 5 measly points when the goal was to find Higuruma and Angel. Why stray from the goal to kill one weakling when time has already been wasted and you're bleeding out? He stopped himself because he knew, it would be wrong. Why would Gege choose to have Megumi make that choice? Because its not in his character to do that.

'Could vs Would' is obvious but the mere fact that Takaba 'could' is scary on its own. People are only theorizing IF and HOW he would BECAUSE he could. I don't think Yuta or Megumi could or would defeat Gojo so I don't even theorize about them.

They could. Megumi for instance we know he could based on the history of someone from the gojo clan with both limitless and six eyes and someone from zenin with shadow technique killing each other. And yuta has massive potential in terms of what techniques he has copied prior. Like technically speaking yuta could copy takabas technique

Megumi was giving Reggie that Naoya special at the beginning lmao. Animation was fire. Yeah the subtitles kinda takes away your attention from the fight at the beginning. I felt the same way watching this episode. Glad y'all rewatched the fight after reading the subs. Was even details that I didnt catch rewatching with y'all like Michelle pointed out Reggie grabbing the receipts with his foot lol. Favorite sequence was them fighting by the pool. Straight hands. Regardless of their relationship yuta isnt really the comedy type like hes had funny moments but that wast due to him making the joke it was more situational usually hes pretty awkward. Think of domains like this: You create this barrier (that black sphere thingy) that surrounds you and your opponent -> you have to populate the content inside that barrier -> the shell acts like a wall that you can paint on -> inside that space you program a ā€œsure-hitā€ affect. Megumiā€™s is incomplete, meaning he doesnā€™t know how to ā€œcloseā€ the barrier yet -> so he uses the gym, a confined space to ā€œfill itā€ with his domain. So the walls basically becomes the shell. But since itā€™s a half-ass domain that doesnā€™t close -> thereā€™s no sure hit, just the boost to megumi

The scorpion girl did lure Megumi to what she thought was gonna be his death. And he was about to pass out after his fight, so he was vulnerable if any stragglers wanted to kill him. I think it was pretty selfless of him to give her a second chance at all tbh.
