Awesome! Really hope you guys enjoy it though, Bleach has always been one of my favorite anime/manga. Cool abilities, tons of awesome characters, where even if the MC is awesome, people's favorites are sometimes others that are equally amazing. A lot of shows kind of forget about a lot of their side characters, and they almost become an afterthought. I always thought Bleach did a very good job of making the MC grow, but would also keep others very relevant to the main part of the story.

The TYBWA got the modern anime treatment. Where the animation is consistently good, the pacing is great, and no censorship from the gore 🔥 I wish OG bleach got the same treatment but it’s still has that 2000’s anime charm.

The idea that Kubo felt that he didn't do his best so he added stuff is sort of explained incorrectly, the things that have been added so far are extra stuff Kubo couldn't include due to time restraints or because he couldn't fit it in naturally and some additions are ideas from the staff that Kubo approved. Kubo drew most of TYBW with a torn shoulder so things towards the end were rushed so those aspects will be more fleshed out rather than changed completely. I'm sure the ending itself will remain exactly the same just with more content so it doesn't feel rushed

i dont think there is a timeskip from Fullbringer to tybw. If there was, then the anime never said it. You have to remember tybw and og bleach is not like Naruto and Naruto Shippuden or One Piece first half to 2nd half. Uh whoever is in that discussion are def trolling. haha idk why but I feel like One Piece is gonna fall under Naruto for Ron. just because one piece is an anime of high ups and very low low after timeskip. Idk based on his top 5 he just said, one piece feels out of place. Naruto has a lot of sad moments, AoT is AoT, DS has so many tragic backstory, and Bleach has a darker/mature aesthetic....then there is one piece. Its my favorite, but it feels out of place in that top 5.

For example unlike onepiece where the MC luffy always gets the final 1:1 boss fight with predictable ending (primarily posttimeskip), ichigo is an added factor to helping in defeating the boss like aizen for example but his dad, urahara, etc all fought the final boss too and it was urahara's seal that ultimately defeated aizen. I’m still not personally convinced it’s Ron’s number one outside of loving Zoro. I haven’t seen them get excited or emotional for any scene like I’ve seen them do for multiple episodes in Naruto. But who knows lol. I do think once he gets to the 900s though it’ll be a true contender to him.

It’s not too bad of a trailer but it’s SUCH a good fucking feeling to go into the TYBW Arc without watching this so you have no expectations at all when it comes to the amazing new animation and character designs, as well as the bad guy being shown in the trailer. Not a big deal overall. But I despise trailers. They just give too much even on the low end. With that being said. I cannot wait for episode one. The beginning few minutes is so perfect. Especially as a 32 year old who read the manga and waited 10 years, thinking this would never be animated.

I just want to add that this trailer was really made for people who had already read the TYBW manga, which is why it showed some of the most hype moments from the entire arc. I don't care about spoilers because I grew up before digital catalogs, so everything I watched was always out of order. Just seeing these things like Yachiru/Hitsugaya/Soi Fon/Kyoraku/Rukia/Yama is all too much. It's great if you already know the story, but it's not meant for first-time watchers.

Relax, bud. I used examples of entertaining and sad moments for a reason. I like One Piece infinitely better than Naruto. I just simply don’t see Ron and Michelle getting genuinely excited like they did for Naruto. Or even Bleach and Gachiakuta. Anyways. Regardless I think after Dressrosa, that’s where things are gonna change. Modern animation. Amazing stories. The people he wants to be truly OP are OP, and then we get to the best spot right before the big fight with a certain dragon and momma. There so many moments in one piece that I’m hyped for and they seem underwhelmed for. But in every other anime I watch with them, they’re excited when I’m exciting. Not running into it as much now lol. Dressrosa is my second favorite arc and they’re loving the tournament so far! My favorite part too.

I can quench ur thirst for info on hell without spoiling. Let's just say that after the manga was completed, Tite Kubo (the author of bleach) actually created a one shot of Bleach which takes place after 10-12 years of the end of the series (i.e. the Thousand Year Blood War arc) and it covers some of the questions u have about hell. Additionally, Tite Kubo made another series called Burn The Witch, which actually takes place within the Bleach universe. Burn The Witch was already animated and currently is at about 2 or 3 episodes and the fans have been craving for the continuation of the Burn The Witch series just as they do with the Bleach series after the final arc (Thousand Year Blood War arc). Kubo has said that he has plans to continue the Burn The Witch (BTW) series but hasn't given any specific date as to when it'll be. There's also rumors that he's going to continue the Bleach series which would depict the lives of adult Ichigo, Orihime, Uryuu, Chad and the rest of the gang.

I think they’re excited too. So again, not sure what you’re misunderstanding. I’m saying I don’t see them AS excited as they have been for other shows until this arc began. This isn’t to say there haven’t been really good moments but it’s been less consistent to me until these last 20 episodes or so. Now it’s just nonstop peak thankfully. But it took so many episodes to get even remotely the same reaction as early Naruto like when zabuza cries due to Naruto’s first official talk no jutsu or lee releasing his weights. One piece is simply a slow burn for people. Until the time skip Ron is even constantly confused why his favorite character isn’t one shotting people or doing much at all for that matter.

It has those thing, but general vibe of the show isnt sad or tragic. They are used to make general vibe of triumph and hope feel stronger. Its not sad story. Its happy story that use sadness or tragic to make happiness feel stronger. AoT is dark story, bleach has happy moments, but usually drown by the badass/darker vibe. Naruto has Naruto spend way more time sad or desperate. DS is inherently sad story, that has glimpse of happiness or good vibes. The vibe of the other 4 is not chill/cozy vibe that I feel like most of One Piece is. Yes it can go dark, but you spend more time smiling/chilling with Luffy. The world is dark, but Luffy’s adventure being light-hearted despite the darkness is a big appeal for the show. Sometime darkness can outshine his light as seen in marineford and some part of other arcs, but its not meant dark and gloomy as those 4 i mention

Tite Kubo - the mangaka of Bleach - came out publicly and stated he finished Bleach the way he wanted to. There's a story behind it as well. A bedridden fan sent him a letter anonymously asking him to finish the way Kubo wanted to, despite Kubo having to deal with a torn shoulder tendon. Kubo started having these issues mid-way through the Fullbring arc. Since Kubo was so moved by that anonymous fan, he decided to do his best to give us the arc. And frankly, he did so well. Since he had to work with what he had, there were times when some of the stuff was seen to be rushed or were offscreened but nowhere did the manga stray from the core themes of it. So whoever told you guys that the anime version is the actual vision of Kubo is so wrong. While we get the context behind some of the things that I mentioned, which were shortened, it does not mean that this is the true vision. The source material is always the true vision of any mangaka. People who say the ending will be different could be referring to some of the novels that give extra content, so it might not be an anime-only thing. In terms of production, Cour 1 and Cour 3 are absolute bangers, with Cour 3 being the best. There was only a 6-month gap between Cour 1 and Cour 2, and coupled with the production issues within the studio, Cour 2 was a drop in terms of quality. That being said, half of the episodes in Cour 2 are still good. So there's that when it comes to expectations.

Of course they’re still going in blind. It’s a trailer. But they do get to see certain things like even how different the animation is. To me, even while small, that’s a spoiler. For me I loved having NO clue what it would be animated like. I figured it would either be like Boruto and I’d be disappointed for a lot of episodes or similar to the fullbring arc. Instead I went into episode one COMPLETELY blind and within the first 45 seconds was like HOLY SHIT. I had no idea every second of the show was gonna be peak animation. Especially on my OLED tv with all the blacks. Perfection.

They aren't wrong at all. The basic premise of your comment is correct, but it is ignoring the limited timeframe given to Kubo by JUMP. It was rushed, things were cut out so he could finish as quickly as required, as well as without hurting himself more. The anime will be the main Canon, as Kubo has stated he is working alongside the animators and storyboard writers to fully flesh out his vision. This is all in interviews with Kubo himself...

I get it, even the non-canon stuff was really fun in my eyes. During the time I saw it as a bonus for more bleach content since they were too close to the manga. I was too used to watching DBZ and them needing time to catch up with manga so they would just do reruns of the shows x.x So as long as the fillers were entertaining I never minded them, but they are seen as a very bad thing to some lol.

There's no source for your claims regarding the limited timeframe given to Kubo. Sure, there are sources where he said that he was going to do something with someone in this arc, which was never done. But that does not mean that he did not get the time he wanted to. The anime will never be the main canon because the source material is right there. I would love to see the interviews that you keep mentioning, and I'll admit that I'm wrong if that's the case.
