And remember in one of the episodes Delta tried to sneak up on Jigen when he telepoted a table that she destroyed he did that without the Karma and Naruto had to transform to face her. Kawaki didnt have a robot arm in the future it was the Karma markings you are talking about.

Yep. The strength of the characters at the end of Shippuden reached such a high level that it feels ridiculous when they are challenged by weaker characters who have had hardly any build up. Shippuden KCM2 Naruto < reanimated Madara < jubito< one eyed rinnegan jubidara < SP Naruto/sasuke < dual eyed jubidara < kaguya < momoshiki < adult Naruto/sasuke The above is pretty objectively true. And when you see a nobody clown on a version of naruto who's stronger than literally anything in Shippuden, it feels unsatisfying, and cringe.

Naruto, Hinata, and the Hyuga fam have given her the freedom to explore her other interests first (this is mentioned in one of the episodes you skipped). Meanwhile Boruto has already set his path as a ninja just like Sasuke

I think the canon episodes of Boruto are really good. Boruto and Naruto feel like they share the same universe but exist in completely different worlds. Naruto was more about human struggles, emotions, and large scale wars. Aliens werenā€™t the main focus, which is why we could connect so deeply and feel strong emotions throughout the series. Boruto, on the other hand, is totally different. From the very beginning, it has revolved around aliens and otherworldly threats. There hasnā€™t been a traditional war like in Naruto, and since the main enemies are aliens who lack human emotions, itā€™s natural that the story doesnā€™t evoke the same feelings. That doesnā€™t make it bad itā€™s just a different kind of story. Also, no single human character in naruto can defeat both Naruto and Sasuke. I donā€™t think they could have created a much better story than this for the sequel. I believe it will only get even better once the new season starts. One last thing I want to say about people calling it a ā€œmidā€ series: The monthly Boruto manga has outperformed One Piece in digital views, sometimes ranking number 1 on Manga Plus and consistently staying in the top rankings. In general, itā€™s always in the top 10. We really shouldnā€™t judge Naruto and Boruto with the exact same standards.

I believe the lesson from the writer here is that parenthood is very valuable. And part of that is sacrificing part of yourself, losing part of yourself for your children; who are your legacy. So, if Naruto was a bit rusty here it's understandable.
