At the end of the day, people will always like a great villain 😅 By the way just in case you missed it (because the subtitles instantly went out when her name and role were on the screen) : the woman that was talking with Sabo is Koala, the little girl that was saved and raised on the Fish-Man pirates ship during the Fisher Tiger backstory. She's now with the revolutionary army, and that's why she mentioned Robin since she spent 2 years with them.

@Muad Ciise Yes, but also her name and the fact that she's a fishman karate master from the revolutionary army was written in the middle of the screen for like 4 or 5 seconds, but for some reason the subtitles just flashed it in the middle of the dialogue, so they couldn't even read it

You missed a subtitle that was next to impossible to catch. It's at 21:47. They kind of messed up some of the subtitles, when Senor Pink name pops up, he says something along the lines of "Don't cling to me, you little tramps", but that subtitle is never shown.

I don't know where you are watching One Piece, but every time there's a namecard and a conversation at the same time the subtitle for the namecard dissapears or is missing altogether. I've noticed this several times in earlier episodes as well, so it's sometimes hard for you to catch someone's name and or title/status. Maybe there's a better subbed version? I understand if you don't want to switch platform ofc, just wanted to mention it.

THE WORST SUBTITLES IN THE HITORY. FFS. Guys please just use Crunchyroll. I've been waiting so long for this reveal. I mean most reactors miss it anyway, but with these subs you guys had no chance. It showed Koala's name for a total of half a second. No time to register. Amazing reveal completely botched by the subtitles. God damn. That girl is Koala from the Fishman Island flashback. You guys also really should pause when new characters are introduced, because you missed who Sabo was talking to on the snail transponder. Also if she is part of the Revolutionary Army she might know Robin because who was Robin with during the 2-year time skip?

Since the flashback of Luffy's past, lots of fans were in the same boat as you. All the signs of your standard fake out death were there, so nearly every fan was fully expecting Sabo's return it was simply a matter of "when" not "if" Sucks that Ace died without ever knowing the truth though. That probably weighs a lot on Sabo's mind.

Manga chapter 668, where Law and Luffy form their alliance, has a cover panel depicting Ace's and Whitebeard's graves. If you look closely, there are 3 sake cups at Ace's grave, hinting at, or rather proving, that Sabo was still alive and likely coming back.

I’ll throw a little extra comment here: people “love” Doflamingo as a villain, meaning it’s more of a “love to hate him” from most fans. I despise Doflamingo he’s sooo evil BUT he’s one of the best written villains and therefore I “love” him. Also, I think it starts to become most apparent in this arc where scenes get dragged on more than they should (when this was airing it was basically caught up to the manga so they had to make an episode last the full time with very little new content); so just because a scene seems to focus on someone a long time doesn’t necessarily mean it’s important in the long run (but sometimes it does! Have fun figuring out which is which! Lol)
