Lorenzo

Agreed you guys dont have to rush this, but im not complaining for either

Ultimate Winner

Lucky you didnt watch bleach tybw and one piece marineford at same time. Cause i feel like when you watch so much peak. The most peak get shine. The lesser one get overshadowed and you might forget how good it is There is so many shows in certain seasons where 2 peak show came out and I could only remember of the peaks of 1 show. Other fell off until i rewatched it and I was like wtf this was so peak

SatanƔs Gringo

Soo now u finally gonna meet the princess i have as pfp 🫣😘

Kurofi

hahahahaha you guys are the best, loved the intro and reflecting on your creativity! Keep it up.

Tay

Yokoso

Kurofi

Please don't rush, savor it like we all did with one ep a week lol. Bringing it back down to just 2ep a drop is totally fine!

Arz.09

show is very deep i'd recommend you guys watch some tiktoks by zaku zealot he's great at diving into a lot of deep bleach content

idkwhy

Watashi no

idkwhy

I guess it's kinda a problem that you didn't take the breaks between tripple-drops, you should enjoy it, not rush lol

Maxxy

Mayuri has the most impeccable drip in this arc. He is fashion incarnate.

Usgaroth

Unfortunately, there is no DNA test disproving Urahara is Ichigo's mother, so clearly he is.

Mando23

I’ve been watching Dan da Dan, Sakomoto days, cowboy bebop, haikyu, code geass at the same time. It’s draining. But it’s rare I get completely sucked to a show 100%. Only like 7-10 anime have done that for me.

Raden

Bro cracked but at the ultimate cost🤣🤣

Leroy Spaans

with kenpachi it was both each time he was brought back closer to his unsuppressed (younger) self

zyo

y’all hating, mayuri had that shit on šŸ˜‚

Brandocommando

Here’s something from Cour 1 that you didn’t know: During the visored backstory arc in episode 206 Kirio (The squad zero fat lady) served as the captain of squad 12 during that time and was later promoted to squad 0. After her promotion she was then replaced by Kisuke Urahara as her successor becoming the new Squad 12 Captain and later founded the Department of Research and Development.

Alex

Cowboy bebop is great. Gotta go back and rewatch it, and maybe samurai champloo to follow it up

Sci Jay

The triple drops were a lot, but I do believe they needed to be triple drops. The episode that brought the ending segment for each of the 3 triple drops ended on those 3rd episodes, and they were massive conclusions. This allowed the conclusion to naturally reach its place, rather than there being a weird void in the middle of double drops. If that makes sense.

Roberto Rojas

Yeah whoever said to watch all those triples drops is wrong the only 3 needed to be watched were the last 3

Brandocommando

So the Schrift is one the quincies primary abilities. Basically each letter that the Stern Ritters have all represent a specific power.

Mando23

I’m enjoying cowboy bebop it’s different. I’ve heard people talk a lot about samurai champloo might give it a shot. Animation drop but the story telling has nice depth with older anime.

vaughn

idc what yall say, Mayuri's suit is pure swag

bklef

Prince you mean ? :p

Treyson Johnson

Ishida’s dad relinquished his title of Quincy. He’s still a ā€œQuincyā€ by blood but he isn’t in terms of ideology

The CulturedGentleman

Ron, Michelle...Im gonna Glaze Unohana til death. If you guys ever decide on watching Bleach over, just know that there are those of us who would gladly sit in and watch every second again with you guys Youre basically family at this point and as long as you are on the internet doing this, im gonna be here

jaycee2003 chavez

I can’t watch more than 2 animes at once so i totally understand

SpartanManJDOGG

Yea the triple drops through I do agree that they were probably better in terms of cliffhangers you guys sped up a bit through the arc. Considering that there will only be like 50 something episodes of this arc you could catch up faster than you guys would like.

Just_a_guy

Aizen wasn't exactly "scared" of Unohana. But he was wary of the risk battling her might carry. Toshiro however, he chose to just humiliate every chance he got. For Yamamoto, Aizen created an entire person just to take away his sword/power. Nemu's hat and outfit that Mayuri made her always gets me haha. Mayuri is one of the sickest anime characters

Mango

Hi, Michelle and Ron! I was sad when y’all didn’t pick up on Kenny’s ā€œblack outsā€ so I was excited to hear your thoughts when Ron mentioned he’d read the comments. I think there may still have been a small misunderstanding or I might be misunderstanding Ron’s interpretation of the several comments left on the previous drop. In short: Unohana wasn’t ā€œkilling child kenpachi because she was boredā€ . She mentioned that when the strongest finds the next strongest, the two options are to either kill them or to nurture them. She chose to pass the baton, and in order to do so she had to nurture his strength enough for him to surpass her. After the little montage of Kenny’s previous ā€œclose battlesā€ she quite literally tells us, the viewers, that she will kill him and heal him as many times as it takes for him to break his shackles and become strong enough to kill her. She embraced death having fulfilled her role of nurturing the next strongest, and atoning for her ā€œsinā€. I’m sure this will be talked about during the next discussion but I just wanted to drop a comment because it’s one of my favorite inner monologues from the show!Thank you both for the consistent content! Your reactions are my media of choice that I get to enjoy while on the treadmill šŸ˜‚

The CulturedGentleman

On a scientific level...Mayuri is freaking scary guys. Hes alot scarier than even Orochimaru with just observing things, finding things and creating exactly what is needed to change an outcome. Mayuri is the one scientist id never want to meet in anime

Mike Cash

Almost right with the kenpachi situation… Unohana didn’t kill and revive him as a child.. she beat him once he lowered himself. In the current… every time she revived him she was unlocking his true potential he locked away as a child until he was stronger than her again… Also… wasnt avoiding her because he was scared in the SS arc… He was on a time crunch once the execution got botched and he didnt attack anyone that wasnt directly in his way or didnt attack him first. Also, later kubo said in Klub outside that fighting wasnt a loss to Aizen but it wouldve exhausted too much time and energy and he wouldve ended up failing to get to rukia before all the captains arrived

Ultimate Winner

I don't have a girlfriend rn. but i used to watch animes with a girl I liked, I would get so annoyed when she pause in middle of a big scene. Pissed me off

Weyard Wiz

3:39 ICHIGOAT BEST SHONEN MC!šŸ”„ 35:35 title card slaps!

Harsh Sharma

Yeah Kenpachi levels up when he is "near-death" or let go of his restraints bit by bit, so Unohana had to do that N number of times so that she can unlock Kenpachi's full potential. Also, I agree with you, Unohana was the biggest threat to Aizen after Yamomoto and potentially Ichigo (which we know for obvious reasons).

Harsh Sharma

I am sorry I am commenting so much to these Bleach TYBW episodes lol, my engagement is off the roof. But I agree with your comment Ron on the similarities between Bleach's bad guys and Demon Slayer's bad guys. One of it is the definitive ranking system within them, and then the intertwinned stories of some of the villians is also a similarity.

The CulturedGentleman

To add, her SIN was allowing herself to be defeated by him as a child which caused him to withdraw from going all out in battle. She was bored as the Kenpachi but this child managed to defeat her because hes stronger than her. As a CHILD! So rather than killing him she trained through the Hot Spring guy to get stronger by learning healing magic so she can also like Kenny, enjoy her battles to make them last "forever" This was her way of atoning for causing him sadness because he had finally at the time allowed himself to go all out and actually enjoy fighting someone truly strong. Its like being the best at a sport so everyone else to you is just boring because they will never beat you at it. And then one day you find a strong opponent to really push you to your limits but you still beat them and then you get sad when you realize that life is boring again because they were one of a kind and you will never find someone like this again.| so Kenny surpressed himself so that his opponents do not just die at once because he truly enjoys fighting and levels up with each near death experiences he encounters. SO Unohana understands this and developed her techniques solely for this reason - to face Kenny again in battle and DIE to his blade by bringing him close to death over and over and over, allowing him to get stronger and stronger (which was well over 100 times btw...YES she was that much stronger than the Kenny we saw throughout the anime) until finally Kenny levelled up to a level where hes stronger than her because hes now fighting close to going all out as he did that day as a boy, and he was able to kill her. Each time I talk about her I LOVE Unohana more and more!

The CulturedGentleman

I dont think Ron realizes how much of a cockroach Mayuri is lmao

Ahupnatun

Aizen definitely didn't want to get in a fight with Unohana because he probably thought it would have taken way too long for his current mission or even had a chance of stopping it. Unohana's fighting skills among everyone other than Yama are supposed to be at the highest. She was probably more of a threat because of her unpredictability compared to Yama. A theme with Yamamoto with all the bad guys is that they don't want to face him directly, but an old dog not being able to learn new tricks was his downfall. He was too easy to read for people like Aizen and Yhwach.

Masked Void

[Tidbits Ep.14] - The Opening sequence was a nice hint towards the Origin of Yhwach, which is approached differently here compared to the manga. (Looking forward to how they'll adapt or reveal the rest of the information) - The approach to war here seems to mimick what the Germans did in WW2 called a "Blitzkrieg", meaning "Lighting War" this was an aggressive swift offensive using overwhelming force -The Vizards are fixing distortions within space caused by the imbalance of souls. [Remember the shinigami claim that the worlds will collide if there is an imbalance of souls] - Many theorize that Shunsui is lying about the percentage of Ichigo not being able to return. Likely to put Ichigo's friends at ease. - We see yet another distinction between how Shunsui runs things. Yama preferred to keep other races and people at a distance, where as Shunsui is a lot more fluid and open with his actions, he doesn't let preset notions get in the way of getting things done. - (Fun fact: Yhwach is based on the Hebrew an me "Yhwh" which means God.) - The "Schatten Bereich" as Yhwach called it means the "Shadow Realm", that is where they are apparently. (Many viewers confuse it with Hueco Mundo do to the similar appearance) - An interesting aspect that many viewers don't consider is that Most of the 0 Squad are likely very VERY old, meaning in terms of Mentality they'd likely align more with the more Cruel aspects of Soul Society. Since we've met them there has been a sort stand offish energy, most of the Captains didn't want to go meet them. [Reposted]

I watched beef S2 too it was good even if i prefered the First season, great reaction guys,it get even crazier soon šŸ”„

kirk poss

never cross Ron lol

Ahupnatun

Also, a slight alteration about what Unohana was doing, while she was having fun in the battle with Zaraki, it was more for nurturing him. She made a comment about how she would continue to heal him every time he slipped till he regained what he had lost due to her own "weakness". She made a comment similar to - the role of the strongest was to either aim their blade at the strongest, or to nurture the next strongest to surpass them. Even when she used her bankai when she was getting to her limit of keeping it up, she was still healing. Near the end, though was just them giving everything in the fight, and he surpassed her. This also brings up the huge difference between Yamamoto and Shunsui. Yamamoto wouldn't have dreamed of losing Unohana just to get Zaraki unshackled. He would have rather shouldered everything because he thought his power was enough to do so. But that obviously led to chinks in his armor that people could take advantage of. Shunsui, however, is much more... well, he will think much more out of the box to win. He was willing to sacrifice Unohana in order to unschackle Zaraki. So, giving up one of your strongest fighters in order to uncage Zaraki.

Masked Void

[Tidbits Ep.15] - Fun Fact: There is an early artwork in Bleach that has Uryu walk beneath Ichigo as his Shadow, which in hindsight was an obvious hint. For those who want to see it, research [Bleach Chapter 34 Quincy Archer Hates You]. - We get the confirmation of where the Quincy went and hid for 1000 years. Many assume that this shadow world is a place that alters aging in some way which makes sense given it's in the shadows of the Soul Society. This is likely how Quincy who are Human are able to still be young and alive despite hundreds of years passing. - Here In the manga we learned from Bazz B was the one who basically saved them back when Yamamoto tried to burn the 3 Sternritter attacking him setting Yamamoto's flames off course, which means Bazz B Flames are pretty strong. - Nanao creating such a unique and powerful Kido in such a short time is a good showing of just how capable she actually is. Shunsui is one of the Strongest Captains, so it's good to see this his Lieutenant has the chops for the position. - The scene where Omeada is confronted by BG9 (The Robotic Quincy) is slightly different in the manga, his sister gets gruesomely impaled, but here Omeada takes the Hit. - "9th Head of the Fon Clan" is a slightly important line, many Bleach fans either forget or aren't aware the Lesser Noble Families exist and that Nobility in Soul Society means you have a higher potential. - Askin is a breath of fresh air, at least for this genre of Shounen Anime. He's not the type that just fights, he uses his brain and respects possible threats, we all know how outlandish Mayuri is so it's smart to want to avoid a fight with him, especially when there are much easier targets. [Reposted]

Masked Void

Sorry for so many comments but a slight correction, Aizen wasn't necessarily afraid of Unohana, he could defeat her but his issue is that it'd take way too much effort, so its smarter to avoid fighting her, and focus on the goal of ultimately transcending.

idkwhy

I don't know if someone has highlighted it, but Matsumoto's hair color is blond in manga, just in the OG Bleach they changed it to red for idk why...

Ahupnatun

Feeling empathy with the quincies is definitely normal IMO. Especially after the soul reapers decided it was best to just kill all of the quincies in order to uphold the balance. The quincies at this point, are fighting for both the ability to survive and probably the largest factor now being revenge for what happened. I still side more with the soul reapers from what they said of quincies killing hollows, ruining the balance, and could collapse everything, but surely there could have been another way in the past. But at this point, it is just a blood war :D

Hearsan

Mayuri rocking the Balenciaga

Kefka Palazzo

NOT A SPOILER/ Question for you two. It's confirmed that Fathom Events will be showing the first three episodes of cour 4 in June and you can buy tickects in May. Will you both go out and watch it early with some popcorn? Would be pretty cool honestly and also excellent reaction the war is kicking into 2nd gear! Lets go!

JAS

LMAO bro didn't even get the cheeks she just straight up killed him. RIP

Ahupnatun

Vote +1 for you guys yapping lol. I love hearing theories from people enjoying the show.

Alex

So when he says last Quincy I believe it's in reference to the fact that ishida is the only surviving mixed blood Quincy. All others died when Yhwach did the auswhalen that killed Ichigo and uryu's moms.

Kayso

Now that y'all are doing the normal 2 ep per upload I feel y'all are fine again mentally. Those triple drops were a lot. Rewatch OG Bleach ep 60 for Unohana and Aizen's interaction lol. The quincies sitting at the table at the beginning reminds me of the espada meeting. Soifon turned up this episode using Shunko, same move Yoruichi used against her in their fight in the soul society arc. Also love yalls discussion, whoever don't like it can just skip through it

Weyard Wiz

same, we are watching reactions for them to pause and discuss, not just stare at the screen lol, i dont understand some people who complain about pausing lol

Kayso

There was controversy surrounding Byakuya's "death". It got to the point where fans were threatening Kubo all because they didnt want Byakuya getting killed off. I get people love him and he's a fan favorite but at the same time that was wrong what people did to Kubo. At the end of the day its a fictional character. (Edit, next part is only a rumor) -> I think Kubo originally planned to kill off Byakuya? But due to the uproar of the fans he changed his mind and kept him alive. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

JAS

Also in the Manga BG9 actually did impale Mareyo with his tendril which prompted a cool moment from Omarda where he hit BG9 with his shikai. Of course they heavily edited that scene for obvious reasons.

Just_a_guy

This is just a fan rumor from people who didn't like Kubo's direction

Weyard Wiz

1:03:50 Ron "there was no woman before you" Michelle "I trained him well guys" LOOOOL y'all are such a vibe

Steven Munn

Great drop you guys! So funny how Michelle said at some point when watching ep14 "cour 2 will be a training arc" shortly after the quincies just spawn back into the sereitei!! LMAOOO XD

Daniel Walker

Some things I want to mention and amplify what others have pointed out in the comments: - Although Aizen wasn't necessarily scared of Unohana, he was indeed cautious of her. In the Soul Society Arc there is several people Aizen avoided at all cost, with her probably being the main person he avoided. If we take a look at some other folks he deemed an issue, they were all busy elsewhere and dealt with other things. Zaraki was fighting Ichigo and Tosen+Komamura, Byakuya was dealing with his own pride and Rukia's execution, while Mayuri lost to Ishida. So, according to Aizen's calculations in this arc, the only one he would face eventually (which he did) is Unohana! Also, all of the characters mentioned here are the captains Aizen trapped in Hueco Mundo when he made the move of going to Karakura Town. - Idk if you guys have realised it yet, but the letters the Sternritter have mean something. It's too early to say anything specific, but to get your brain gears working think of the guy with the mohawk and what he's done so far. They showed in this episode that his letter is H. - "Irazusando" roughly translated means something like "forbidden shrine path" or "no-entry shrine road", meaning that the path Ichigo walks right now is a sacred one under Soul King's rules. Makes you understand why Shunsui (now new head captain) said what he said to Ichigo's friends.

noeyl

its a madeup rumor bro don't fall for that

DG

No offense love you guys. But I feel like if you guys move the schedule around and believe bleach has shown to much. Bleach should have its own day instead of boruto😭also at the same time I feel like you guys put a lot of pressure on yourselves. Yall are reacting it’s your experience. It’s your first watch it’s your own personal experience

DG

Or maybe have discussion days. When it’s too much, but cour 2 shouldnt be as bad on your mind

Dimitron

Bleach has a lot of rewatch value and it's good to rewatch it cause you can now pick up on the foreshadowing and hints, but instead of rewatching you could read it instead if you want to experience Bleach again while also seeing the slight differences that the manga has.

Just_a_guy

It's heavily implied that she did

Brandon Solerr

she did lmfao they obviously cant show it so they implied it

DRoger

Michelle you are not alone missing the shadow figure. When Ron said it was a person the first thing I saw was the like a sleeveless shirt with no arm and I was like wtf is that Yamamoto ... šŸ¤¦šŸ˜‚

DG

Kenny is stronger each time he is closer to death. She would heal him each time he was dying so that he would get stronger each time he ā€œdiedā€ or was near death. That’s the shackles he put on himself

Jenn

Mayuri is the best

DRoger

The 3 "dual-wield" zanpakuto is technically false although they are still special in separate ways that I wont get in to. But essentially Ichigo is the only one bc he has two separate zanpakuto spirits. This is also visually/physically hinted by the fact the both the captains 'dual' zanpakuto look identical but both of Ichigo's have a separate look.

IcoNIC

Thank you cause I was confused when Ron was talking about it. I’m like that’s not correct lmaooooo

K2

Mayuri is the best

AyooItsQ

List of characters labeled special threats by yhwach himself so far just to remind u Ichigo Aizen Kenny

Just_a_guy

He really is. Goat character

Captain Usopp aka God Usopp

yeah feel kinda rush too,im with Michelle. We dont even get to glaze Unohana enough yet,

Just_a_guy

Forgot how sick Byakuyas line about getting a power strong enough to let it get to his head is. Very cool small moment with him

Just_a_guy

Also not sure if you guys realized or I just misunderstood you but the quincy talking to Mayuri was basically saying that Mayuri would take too long to kill or would be too much trouble. He wasn't taking him lightly at all

Taka

agree with the rushed feeling

kidCash3

Well let’s not say aizen couldn’t deal with unohanna it was more he didn’t feel like taking the time and it would’ve gave him trouble but he still by far clears her . But he for sure avoided her out of not wanting to exhaust himself most likely

kidCash3

I agree with Michelle the quinces for sure deserve some sympathy .. the soul reapers just have been the stories main characters so it’s natural ppl see them as the good guys even though both sides aren’t fully good

Masked Void

In some manner thats a fair argument, but I think the logic is fair. Unohana specifically learned kaido to battle endlessly. His objective was to retrieve the Hogyoku while the SS was distracted...there was no chance he'd kill her quick enough b4 Yama and the others returned or caught on...Basically trying to kill her would have ruined his plans šŸ˜…

Just_a_guy

Also, It's okay to just like the villains lol. We all love good villains, can't have these stories without them. You guys (maybe more so Michelle) always seem to have conflict about this. Like we all love Aizen because he is so dope even though he is evil. You can just say a villain is awesome. They aren't real haha

Quantum Brush

I highly doubt he could beat her without the hogyoku

Ahupnatun

Could be relocating them somewhere in soul society, could be imbedding soul reapers within the quincies area so any time they are near danger the soul reapers could help out. Could be teaching them new ways to capture hollows and for soul reapers to send them on. I mean, there could have been multiple ways, especially if you are already willing to just genocide them. Scooping them up and placing them somewhere else is hardly that bad to just murdering them all.

kidCash3

Y tf would he be scared of her under shikai taking her out literally wasn’t part of the plan y would he get held up their when he’s trying to get to Rukia for the hogyoku. Just cuz she would have taken time to beat doesn’t mean scared it literally isn’t even in Aizens character to be scared of anyone. Planning for someone and being calm and understanding the situation doesn’t mean ur scared

Mike Cash

He could… Aizen was stronger than every captain not named Yamamoto even then… nothing shown says any different… databooks also implies so as well… She would’ve definitely put up a fight though against base Aizen.. but he outstats her in every category

Ahupnatun

If they had the power to genocide them, they would have had the power to relocate them. And why would the capturing hollows not solve it? Capture them and let a soul reaper that patrols nearby send it on its way. Quincies are easily strong enough to subdue hollows if they can subdue arrancar. I think you are assuming they exhausted all options before they genocided them, but soul society back then was much more brutal than what we see today. So the main sticking point would have been would the soul reapers back then even care to go through that bit of extra work to not genocide them.

Ahupnatun

Do you think Yhwach was scared of Aizen then?

kidCash3

Exactly this

kidCash3

Welp this isn’t a combat or martial arts circle šŸ˜‚this was bleach and aizen executing his plan to create an ouken ur yapping rn gang

油 ラー

Bazz-B is one of my favs!! And his VA plays Josuke from Jojo Part 4šŸ’Ž

BP

The poems are ALWAYS related to the person saying it.

Antonio Auditore

So pretty much yhwach created a whole seperate universe within the shadows of the soul society to hold his empire, in other words they have been watching from the shadows for 1000 years, seeing everything thats happened. Also in the manga, Omaedas sister does get stabbed instead, they just couldnt show it for anime reasons im guessing.

Dee

does anyone know if that sternritter actually had sex with him? I thought he was just killed

wram

Not sure if this has already been said but the author, Tite Kubo, his favourite character is in fact the goat Mayuri. Little fun fact for you guys.

wram

Michelle you're not wrong for empathising with the Quincy, the author takes a very realistic approach by showing that both sides are justified in what they do but of course it's about how they go about it. As the story goes on this will be more clear but to the Quincy the Soul Reapers are the true villains and vice versa. In war, the ones who win decide who the villains are.

Moses Luke

No guys, with Unohana, during the Aizen reveal, when you go rewatch it, Aizen actually was on a time limit, as after taking out Hitsugaya Toshiro, he had to get to Soukuoku hill where Rukia was going to be executed, and he needed to take the Hogyoku, from Rukia, and then after defeating Ichigo and Renji, and the other captains pulled up, that was also the perfect time where the Negacion light that the hollows used to save them came. So it wasnt really a matter of Aizen being cared of her, it was a matter of being strategic and timing, the only captain that was a threat to Aizen before he absorbed the Hogyoku was Yamamoto, and we say it in how he decided to approach fighting with Yama, he didnt want to do it head on.

Michelle Lam

wanting to is normal though. not contradicting at all. I want to live off of eating oreos. doesnt mean i should or will. lol its the same thing here. We wish we could just keep watching.

mike sousa

It was meant to be implied that she did, so they are correct

Joseph Uzumaki

upload n record how you feel is best <3 love yall

Spoiler alert: the Soul King is Brook

love the yapping 😘

William Tippen

They already gave all the info you need to know that the Quincy were causing problems… are we not watching the same show

Malik Ford

Gin should’ve stayed alive he had a baddie

He’s even cosplayed as him lol I recommend looking it up for a good laugh

TheRealN

RIP Bleach Wednesday 😭

TheRealN

Hmmm isn’t the last part a spoiler we haven’t gotten to uryu mom yet.heh I guessed it don’t matter it’s not ground breaking info.

Alex

I thought we did, my bad. I'll edit it just in case. Edit: Looks like they already liked the comment, I really thought it was mentioned or implied alongside when they showed Ichigo's mom's fate :/

Ahupnatun

I already gave you real world alternatives and you said why should it be up to soul reapers to do something different. If the quincies did something different, soul reapers wouldn't need to act. But they did continue so you would need force. If they tried to relocate them, of course their would be resistance, but your assuming they would resist till the last body, and maybe they'd just yield. I never said it would happen with no fighting, when I said they were willing to genocide so they should be able to relocate them. Meaning they should have no issue killing some to force them to move as one alternative option. Same with forcing them to change with capturing them. They may still need to kill some, but it wouldn't be a full on genocide. My question to you is why are you acting like them doing a genocide was the only correct answer and they did nothing wrong. We know for a fact the soul reapers then were much more cruel and ruthless. Unohana was one of the worst criminals and was elevated to captain. They valued their strength over their morals. You are acting like me saying they could have done it another way is saying the quincies were the good guys and I haven't once even slightly claimed that. šŸ˜‚

Tingz

My goat Bazz-B!

Tingz

Also Rangiku looks really good in this animation might I add

Castiel_01x

It's his favourite character to draw. There's a difference.

Castiel_01x

Aizen isn't evil, though. Some of his actions are, but that does not define him as a person.

Castiel_01x

I agree. The rewatchability is insane with Bleach. That being said, I always recommend the manga if you are looking to re-experience the series. Personally, that's when the series became untouchable for me. All Bleach fans should honestly experience the series by reading the manga. The presentation, visual storytelling, and other aspects like these are off the charts. There is stuff that does not translate well to the anime, which factors into how much you love a series. You are so good at formulating ideas for the future, ngl. Based on what you said in the beginning, it would be interesting to see what Ginjo feels, for example, when the Soul Society that he wanted to crush has been decimated by the Quincies. That intro to the Cour 2 is crazy. But it's much crazier in the manga. The way they showed how Yhwach was born falls short of the chapter called "God Like You" in the manga. This chapter is one of the peaks in the series alongside the Blade is Me. If you are interested, I could comment the spoiler-free version of that as a follow-up comment, as that chapter has some content that was not adapted in the first two episodes of this Cour. That could give you more information to form your thoughts based on the discussion at 45:45. Love the discrepancies in the lore that both the Shinigami and the Quincies portray when compared to the actual events. We had Yhwach in these episodes addressing his soldiers by saying how they were attacked by the Soul Reapers, but in ep 7 of Cour 1, we saw that Quincies are the ones who invaded the Soul Society. This could specifically be done to cater to the new Quincies, who joined after the historic battle between the two forces. We did see how Ishida joined the Wandenreich in one of the end credits. Haschwalth met with Ishida to ask him to join their ranks, probably on Yhwach's orders. We also have seen a snippet of the Soul King in ep 8. Aizen once said the only one who could beat him was Yamamoto. In Unohana's case, it was Aizen tactically avoiding a fight with her. While Aizen would have defeated Unohana, it would still have been a tough battle for him, and that was not ideal when you factor in the context of the Soul Society arc, as they were pressed for time.

I have no idea why you think you need to argue this lol. Where did I empathize with the quincies, or say it was all the soul reapers fault? I said from the get go there could have been other ways of dealing with this other than genociding them. And no, ethnic cleansing if it is to save the world is not even close to genocide. They could have tried to work more closely with them and have them just wound and capture hollows. They do not gain power from killing them, they kill them because that is their natural enemy since they have no defense. Soul reapers could work directly with them to then send them to the soul society.

Ron for you man I gotta say Hajime No Ippo might be one I strongly recommend. It motivated me to get in top shape in the gym no lie. Plus it’s a fantastic anime best sports anime ever. Only time I had a legit 6 pack šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

This episode has one of the few instances of censorship in bleach tybw, in the manga Omaeda’s sister gets impaled by the sternritter

Lorenzo

It’s understandable man chill 😭

Just_a_guy

He's 100% evil. He killed and took countless people's souls, basically raped their existence. That not even including everything he did to shinji and all of them. And so much more, he experimented on people in horrific ways for centuries. He was also willing to kill everyone in the city to make the ouken. He's fucking evil lol. Now that doesn't mean there isn't any depth to him, he's just a bad mfer.

I actually think it would be a good idea to slow way down with this show but at the same time cour 4 starts in like June

Ron explained the kenpachi/unohana fight so wrong 😭😭😭😭

Regnor

Kubo himself confirmed that he deliberately avoided to fight her since he knew that even with kyoka suigetsu hax, he wouldn’t come out of their fight unscathed. I do however agree that he definitely was more wary of Yamamoto.

Aaron williams

Don’t feel too sorry for the quencies Michele they were essentially trying to destroy all of existence. And that’s why the soul reapers hunted them

Moses Luke

No this is incorrect, I saw the actual photo of Kubo's club outside page for that question, and his answer was, "He (referring to Aizen), didnt think that he couldn't win, its just that he didnt want to exhaust himself". Think about it, if it wasn't about a time constraint, why would he care about exhausting himself and taking time, the only people he fought when he got to the hill, we're Ichigo, Renji, and Komamura, and no diffed all of them, even if he was exhausted, it wouldn't have made a difference, this leads me to my forgone conclusion that it was mostly about timing, due to how perfectly things fell into place, don't forget that even when Unohana arrived at the central 46, Aizen was already expecting her arrival already. Another thing to use to relate to this was, Yhwach going to meet Aizen in Muken in cour 1, Yhwach wasn't scared to fight Aizen, he said it would just take too long to do so, and we understand why later, because he was on a time constraint, to go back to their shadow realm.

Have quincies been wounding and capturing arrancar in this arc? And yes, you can empathize with the Quincy on why they are mad. Just empathizing with them doesn't mean what they are doing is right, it means I get why they are mad and wanting revenge.

Ahupnatun

Whatever, you are exhausting to deal with because you honestly think soul society has done no wrong even when the show is telling you they have. Soul society is ripe with ruthlessness and crimes in the past. But sure, I give up on even trying to discuss that genocide was the only answer. Because no matter what I say you can just say no.

Viktor MƔcsai

Yes, but its more complicated and without spoiler i cant really say why you are wrong... read Cfyow you get a clear answer there

GodsFury101

i love you guys! too funny! the theory of Urahara being ichigos mom will now be in the back of my mind LOL. also i personally love all the wild theories even if they are way off, i shows me that you are invested and are trying to think of all possibilities.

Well on the topic of Unohana and Kenpachi. Kenny was always stronger than Unohana, but once he started suppressing himself is when she had to heal him. Because by that point she had realized that she should be the one dying. That’s why she was so mortified by his subconscious decision. That’s also why she eventually did the same to bring him back to a point where he could once again kill her. And she was okay with dying to him.

Mayah Lee

personally I can't get over quincy sheets on Ichigo's bed in like first few OG episodes, talk about rewatchability and foreshadowing🤣 also there's always red and blue somewhere in the designs since the very begining

So, the manga actually explains the opening of episode 14 with the baby Yhwach a bit more. With shunko, the technique used by Soi Fon, we've seen it before in the Soul Society arc when both Soi Fon and Yoruichi used it in their fight. Soi Fon has now perfected her version of shunko. Her version seems to create and manipulate wind in order to increase the damage of her strikes. Shunko combines kido and hakuda (hand-to-hand combat) to greatly enhance your physical prowess, so it's perfect for the onmitskido and squad 2. Aizen avoided facing both Kenpachis as he knows just how powerful they can be. It's likely that he'd be able to beat one, if not both of them, but he's cautious by nature. He knew that Zaraki would be sent to Hueco Mundo, which is exactly what he wanted. I really do wonder how things would've unfolded if Unohana had gotten involved in the fighting, back then
