Promanex(Alex)

You can watch the opening imo, doesn’t show any big fights just show some characters but knowing you Ron you are not gonna remember them lol 😂 , also listening and watching the opening motivates me to be better and go to the gym just as much as watching the anime itself idk why so maybe another reason for you to watch the opening

migs

King Kai

Finally it came. Seriously no other anime gets me going on working out and killing it in the gym like this anime.

King Kai

Nice eye bro. That was a Mike Tyson move.

Snoopy Loopy24

First time I've watched an anime weekly when it drops on someone's patrein outside of seasonal anime but this is so good so far, excited for this journey

Suf

Theres actually a real Ippo inspired boxing gym in Tokyo called "JB Sports Boxing Gym" iirc

Cold_Cyber

Dannyboy

This anime got me back into the gym & martial arts, going strong since. Pumped to be on this journey along w ur self improvement content!

Dannilo

Nobody escape to cry at least 2 times in this anime. That shit did beard dudes cry like a child lol

Arz.09

if u do baki get michelle to watch w u she gonna be mortified lmfao

Just_a_guy

This is going to be so sick actually

Alfalfa

Based on your self-improvement monologue at the beginning, you would really enjoy KenIchi: The Mightiest Disciple. It's a good anime to watch if you want to start getting into Manga. Because despite how good it is they stopped adapting it to anime and you have to read manga to finish up.

Chain Retrorain

I’m incredibly glad you’re diving into this anime Growing up, I was a heavy kid who wanted nothing to do with fitness or hard work. But watching this story unfold inspired me to look in the mirror and build a better version of myself. It taught me to stop running from the work and start loving the daily grind Fast forward through years of discipline: I’ve lost 100 pounds and built the best shape of my life. Reaching my peak condition and realizing I actually look like Ippo has been unreal. Enjoy the journey—it’s life-changing

Muhd Irvan

“How does it feel to be strong” will always haunted me in the gym

Saku

Literally the only sports anime that ever made me want to go to the gym and work out (not saying other sports anime were not hype enough).

Bakin Jebin Siram

One of the best anime... old animes are too good... imagine if had better quality...😱😱

nyxscripts

no hes doing this series solo, pretty cool

Emmanuel Cordial

Glad it’s finally here! This anime always reminds me of my roots and humble beginnings. Honestly though, I really wish we could just have double drops active all the time.

skyy

yeah i wonder if she will have some solo reacts as well

john Alexander

Fun fact even though someone probably said it already but many of the boxers in this are based off real life boxers. I needed this though. Been a rough couple of months for me as well. Let's get back in the fight

King Kai

Nice. Read the manga Never knew there was an anime and movie adaptation. Found it as Tommorrow Joe. I know what im binging next.

Hito

may not seem like it but this anime will make a mf cry !!!

Justin Saramosing

I already know this is going to become one of your favorites. I'd even rewatch if you did a second take with michelle later down the road.

gdnsx

YES FIRST TIME WATCHING THIS ONE TOO

Dannyboy

Takamura gone be Ron’s favorite character calling it early

Dakota T

I've never seen this anime, but I am all in after that first episode!

JoeyDMT

DRoger

So excited to see your reaction to this story Ron, this is definitely a perfect match-up for you! 🥊😎

mayeeri

I really hope one day you'll react to Slam Dunk too, it's such a good story with strong values and motivation I'm sure you'll enjoy it (+ you love basketball) It's fun to see a different format without Michelle (even tho your couple reaction are the best) love and support always 🩷

Von.

“Is this my new favorite anime of all time?” My boy let’s slow down for a min 😂

ShadowWind 0825

One of my favorite of all time. Music and everything is so good. Manga is worth the read for sure

Mando23

Awesome man!!!

Arrow

LETS FKN GO I literally just bought a higher tier to watch you react to this. Its by far my most inspiring anime for me personally besides One piece because I started boxing back in 2014 as a kid because of this anime now im 22 and switched over to Muay Thai after 5 years of boxing. Truly life changing for me

Izzy Cruz

number 1 sports anime for me.

branco marolia

Dammn we need Michelle on this as well for sure like solo is awesome but it's amazing to see girls and women appreciate the heart of this show

Ryan Quiñola

You're not gonna regret watching this!

RenXo

had to be a member to see ur reaction for this lol

Guts

I joined for this anime specifically. I somewhat regularly search for Hajime No Ippo reactions on Youtube and am always disappointed to find none. But not today! I'm not even a boxing fan. The anime is just that good. Also the music is godlike.

Epidemic

"MAYBE YOULL HATE ME AFTER THIS" im dying lmao

Lisandro

RON bro you are doing great, love this solo reactions. Hajime no ippo is so good very intense anime, its like watchin my football team play is exhausting but really dope

CaptainMaakasu

This is gonna be a great journey ^^ Under the bridge when Umezawa talks shit about Ippo's mom, the frame when Ippo makes that "angry face" I got that animation cel + sketch (and a handful of others from later episodes) \o/

Ginokiba

this was my first ever anime, im excited for you to go through it

Landon Ginn
