That leaves us more like a flicker. Snap at the very end to use all the kenetic from movement to finger joint and solid at the moment of impact. Jeet Kune Do.

Ikky

Just call him Ippo 😅

Dannyboy

Btw Takamura is a lot heavier & this show emphasizes weight classes. Wouldn’t b fair for our guy ippo.

john Alexander

Calling it now. Ron will want a Takamura tattoo. Takamura is my spirit animal.

Just the best sports anime of all time

Dannyboy

Fax reminds me of bleach where the side characters could have their own spinoffs

Emil Kolev

Because you can't clench your fists and punch with speed, they need to be relaxed and just tighten before you connect.

His first name is Ippo and his last name is Makunouchi. Most people call him Makunouchi because that's the proper way to address someone in Japan. You only call someone by his/her first name if you're really close to that person and they allow you to do so. Ippo's main bully is calling him by his first name in order to mock him. Also, the younger trainer isn't named Yagi-chan, it's Yagi. Chan is just a term of endearment you add onto a name. This is one of my favorite anime of all time, so I'm glad you're enjoying it so far 👍
