yeah icl some of the anime canon eps are cool but most of them are just random slop with poor animation. Personally would prefer if you skipped past the ‘insignificant’ episodes but I know you guys want to cover everything so 🤷‍♂️

These upcoming episodes 233-257 are even worse than what you guys just watched and probably the worst episodes of the whole show if you don’t want to skip all the fillers at least skip to 258

These characters aren’t even canon to the story and the anime canon content drags on for more than 50 episodes. It also heavily mischaracterizes Kawaki, which is why it gets so much hate I’d advise you to skip them and go back to the manga-canon episodes.

Its best you skip to 249 which is the end of the arc ig (something major happens), then continue from 258. It will be dragging so much until 249 with really slow and unwanted arc with bad animation too until that point.

But it has poor animation for the next 20 episodes with also an arc which is entirely irrelevant. If it focuses on char growth for important chars it worth watching, but sadly its not. The fullbringer despite being such a drag, had some interesting plot points, with cool transformations, and one of the few arcs where ichigo gets the limelight and char development.

Kawaki getting character development does not equal mischaracterization. I don’t know where you guys get that from. The anime actually giving him a personality is not a bad thing.

He was mischaracterized cos, in the manga canon story, his character mainly revolves around Naruto. But in the anime canon arcs, he gets a lot of character development and starts acting like he genuinely cares about everyone and they made him look goofy too Then we get back to the manga canon episodes, and he’s right back to revolving around Naruto again. So what was the point of all that character development lol

As a huge Boruto lover and a lover of the fillers please DON'T watch the pirate arc. Its super long, poorly animated and just boring. There's still really good canon to come, arguably one of the best episodes too

The problem with these episodes is that im literally skipping through them. I skipped through all of last weeks episodes after the chunin exams and these episodes, theyre so bad. Its not yal fault the episodes are just so bad with characters that dont matter at all and dont even exist in the manga

Lol I just had Chipotle 🤤 so there was some lore with Mifune when Tsubaki was introduced. Idk if yall remember Mifune but he fought with everyone in the war arc. We got introduced to the concept of Samurai in Shippuden during the 5 kage summit arc where Mifune moderated the kage meeting. Manga canon continues at ep 282. If y'all not feeling it feel free to skip lol

The reason is rather than being considered "anime Canon" which should aim to expand upon & deepen the manga’s story, these episodes are more accurately described as filler. This is because the studio’s sole purpose in creating them was to create a significant gap from the manga’s content
