Dragon ball will keep getting better every arc from here, but DBZ is where it will shine and go to another level. Just a shame it will take till July 2027 to get to DBZ, but you will enjoy dragonball and learn alot of law and history. Same for DBZ, patience needed.

I am good with 3 a week but I do think 4 episodes is a good amount for DB/Z and I do expect once it picks up they'll wanna watch more too and depending if they skip filler or not shit will fly by.

They will be watching Z in Dub too and I hope they pick this one https://archive.org/details/dragon-ball-kai-z-cut-sf (It strongly resembles DBZ by changing the opening and ending credits and changed the title card. Also using Seed of Might's Color Correction Z Footage and synced to Kai's audio)

Because DBZ dub doesn't follow the script/dialogue but Kai does. Also Bruce Faulconer didn't even make the music just took credit for it

I mean im pretty sure a lot of people know Bruce falconer didn’t make the music but they refer to it as that because that’s the only way they can refer to the music as and a lot of people like the iconic themes that version has. That’s why I think dbz and kai are a toss up but I wouldn’t call it braindead. They most likely want them to have the og nostalgic feeling instead even if they’re aware Kai is more faithful to the manga

I want them to watch the Bruce falconer dub score version of dragonball z thats the one the old ppl grew up on lol but you can only get it on Blu-ray or dvd from amazon so I doubt they will buy that or by watching YouTube clips of the bruce falconer music the music is so epic in that version. the kai version sucks just no music at parts where its needed and in the original music every character has there own theme music but not in kai, also I believe kai cuts out the filler episodes too I hate it
