Yes Joseph of Arimathea was a real Biblical person. He has been mentioned in all four Gospels of the Bible. And is a Saint in the Catholic tradition.

And Ron just to address the StruckByBelz thing. Because there is a lot of misinformation. I've subscribed to his channel for years. He isn't a Christian fanatic as people have made him out to be. People have blown this way out of proportion. The fact is people who aren't religious won't understand what he means when he says some times some things affect you differently as a Christian. As a Christian myself, it's why I stopped watching Supernatural when they had a storyline where God was absent from heaven. Other Christians may watch it and feel fine. The Bible even specifically has a verse that deals with this. So give the guy some grace. He never said anything was wrong with Asta. He just shared a personal opinion of his and it has been blown way out of proportion

And if they do, that's their decision. The reason I'm defending them is because it has been blown way out of proportion. And especially when Nicolas Light who btw good guy is speaking on it in a tone that makes them out to be psychotic, that's just crazy. He simply said he has a problem rooting for Asta. He never said you and others can't root for Asta. It's just crazy in this day and age you can't have or hare an opinion and it be met with some understanding. The reaction is just way over the top.

The name "Jesus" is a Greekified version of the hebrew name Yeshua. Yeshua son of Yoseph. If you were to re-modernize these two names into a more Anglofied manner, then the name becomes Joshua son of Joseph. Jojo.

I try to avoid watching things with nudity. If someone draws the line somewhere else then that’s up to them. What I don’t understand is why do people care about that guys opinion? He told his fans he’s not comfortable with something due to his journey with religion. That’s the whole thing. So why do I see people flaming the dude so hard?

It's because it's Christianity. People see religion as just some jokey thing and make light of it. So to them it's crazy for someone to say they're not comfortable watching something anymore, because they watched something in the past. And the fact that so many people can't respect someone's choice when it doesn't affect them in any way is what is insane for real. The man didn't even say Black Clover is bad or that it sucks. Simply said, where he is at, he doesn't feel comfortable watching certain aspects of it. And the only counter argument is that okay it's reality vs fiction. And while that is true, he is not yet there in his Christianity. So just respect it.
