Dear diary,

Adara, Bertrán and the others say goodbye to Webtoon today. I’m going to miss them a lot, as much as I missed Cati and Andreas, but I’m really eager to meet the new characters who will star in the next story that I am preparing.

I’ve learned a few lessons in these two years, that I hope will help me to improve my future projects. I’ve learned that a slow burn story can drive away many potential readers. Also, that not everybody will accept a female protagonist of gray morals. And this leads me to treasure you, the readers who stayed by my side: you embraced the atypical style of my webcomics and gave them a chance to see if they were worth it. That, I think, makes you special. And it makes me very happy to have been in this trip with you.

Now, let’s cut to the chase, friends: the extra chapters. For those of you who just joined my Patreon, please read the post "Day 29" and then return to this one, go!

Have you read it yet? Then we can continue: I’ll be posting episode 101 NEXT WEEK! Woohoo! We’ll see Adara and the others a few days after the events of today’s chapter. It will be available for all my dear patrons, old and new.

And for all free members (thanks for joining me here!), I’ll keep posting my diary every Thursday to tell you all things related to "Lady Liar", "Miss Abbott", and my future new project. There will be surveys and unpublished drawings. And if you get the urge to read any of the extra chapters, you can become a patron at any time and for as long as you want.

So, I’ll see you all around here on April 10th, alright? Hugs and kisses! 😘

Querido diario:

https://www.patreon.com/posts/day-29-122801293?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

¿Lo habéis leído ya? Pues ya podemos continuar: ¡LA SEMANA QUE VIENE PUBLICARÉ AQUÍ EL CAPÍTULO 101! ¡Yujuuu!

¡Besos y abrazos! 😘

I'm sad that I won't be able to read the extra chapters but I'm excited to see everything else! And glad that you are able to use it to produce some income while working on the next story (Which I can't wait for!)

Will $2/month patrons be able to see the chapters?

I thought Lady Liar was an absolute delight and I will be sad to not see the gang every week. I thought Adara was a lovely protagonist and loved her growth, along with the rest of the characters. Please keep making stories like these because I know lots of other loved it as well

Will the free patrons be able to read the chapters ?

Time flies, I hadn't realized two years had already passed... My last regret, I would have loved to see Óliver (and Bertrán) face when learning he was Adara's fake husband inspiration. Maybe soon ? 😉 Thank you for your hardwork and this beautiful and peaceful ending !

No, sorry, only patrons will be able to read them. Of any tier, but patrons. Free members will have access only to the diary entries, polls, etc.

Long time fan here: I would just like to say I totally applaud your choice of having a gray moral female characters. Adara was more interesting because of this and the many choices she had to make were very compelling. I love stories with female protagonists and there are a lot of unabashedly good and moral ones while I would love to see more variety and nuances in my fiction. So, thank you for this and keep up the good work!

Thank you! I agree with you, but I know that some people hated that she lied, like everybody has to be good or bad and there's nothing in between. That's not something that is going to change how I design a story or a character, but I'll have it in mind so I can build them in a way that won't make people hate them at first sight. 😉

While it's true that Adara did some negative things and even hurt people through her lies (a little), I think (from having read your other comic) that I was always convinced of one thing: that the author of Miss Abbott and the Doctor would create a story and characters I would love and cherish. I was confident that Adara would do the right thing in the end and it would all turn out okay. I know there is a need for grim and tragic stories, but I feel an even greater need for stories like this: stories about gentleness and understanding and good humor. Your light shone through from the beginning. Thank you for the lovable cast, the ups and downs, and especially for the happy ending. I love all your characters. 💖

id read any story from you, sure, but I was IMMEDIATELY locked in when I sensed a slow burn + gray morals female character. im SO glad you made it this way and didn't bend towards what the "main" audience might would like. being faithful to your ideas is what makes your stories so interesting and unique! pls always make what you really want to :D
