The ways of the Arcane Horology are hard to parse, but it seems May is an auspicious month indeed. Perhaps it is the change in the weather, or else the ancient folkloric connection to the rites of May, as the children turn around the maypole creating patterns of horological relevance — whatever the cause, another scenario seed is here.

The name was later changed to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. The scenario seed attached was inspired by these events...

(It would be remiss of me not to mention this: Last year, in 2021, a report by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission concluded that "pervasive racism" had led to a failure to properly commemorate Black and Asian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Empire in the First World War. At last it appears that these wrongs are beginning to be addressed—for example, with a new monument to honour the over 1,600 South Africans from military labour units who died in the conflict. )
