I too would be angry if I had been dragging a huge belly for days only for it to get suspiciously lighter as we're about to arrive home :,) 

At least she will be able to recover some weight!

Well, some good news; you’re finally well-fed, and none of the lionesses or Scar even knew that Simba was alive to begin with. The bad news is they will be wondering why you’re so fat and didn’t bring anything to share, and Rafiki was made aware of Simba’s initial survival. Well, Nala, now may be a good time to lay low. In all seriousness, this came out great!

At this point, Simba would likely be nothing more than a blob of goo. And now I’m imagining that Simba is still aware of things, like his eyes are still there. Toony stuff can be fun.
