Maadhav

Matt 04

Let’s go Jon! Intro was fye!!!

End of future and drake? Obviously future choosin metro over drake but to give k-dot the platform to diss drake is damning

Denman_James

Vamos jon, future is the goat of trap and he has delivered once again🗣️‼️🦅🦅

J E

Everyone talking about Like That & the Drake diss, but lowkey the best track is Everyday Hustle 🔥🔥

Jordan Barns

“Play that dududduudu” Travis’s voice

Austin Wright

I’m boycotting Kendrick 😤 Cole world all day. But I’m DOWN to see them bruddas go AT it

John Coffey

This album is soo good I was at work listening to it and the “suck me up like some soup” line made me say out loud oh cmon future you said that😂

22:23 This is exactly why I tune into reaction videos. I immediately clocked the Eazy-E sample the first time I listened to ‘Like That’ but I never in a MILLION YEARS woulda known that there was also a BARRY WHITE sample (which also turns out to be used in another 80s sample in a Rodney O & Joe Cooley song). Getting other people’s perspectives on reviews and first reactions adds so much depth to my own personal listening experience, and you’ve consistently been one of the primary reactors I turn to for that enhancement. I know there’ll be plenty of mfs who bitch at you for delaying the song at the start, but I personally think it’s really interesting and your input is part of the reason I frequently tune in.

Cody Vaught

Plus Kendrick said 3 3 times in the verse and ends the verse with a 9. 3x3=9. The dude is genius

WOO_HODL

Unsubscribing until you start reacting to Babytron. You're great though so I know you'll get around to him eventually.

Rudra

yeah we're never getting a cole and kendrick collab. I hope this turns into Drake, Kendrick, and Cole actually writing disses instead of subs over years, but if the subs are great I'm down for that too

Austin Showalter

i agree. blp kosher would be in jon’s ballpark as well

MF

I've been a loyal youtube supporter for quite some while now. However this album made me buy the patreon cause I couldnt wait. Such a fire album

Conflict OGK

The GTA beat is fucking unreal

SamJoFromAus

That evil-looking laugh of joy when Abel crept in on Young Metro just made my week.

wyatt

Three Six samples (who the crunkest; and ridin spinnas) are on point on Like That. They make the song. Really cool to see Kendrick rap over such an iconic sound. Memphis! Obviously other samples too. It’s layered.

wyatt

Yep

smacten

Couldn’t relate to a single lyric in that whole album… but it sounds sickkkk🔥

Pat

Future and Metro can’t miss…. We get We Still Don’t Trust You in 3 weeks lol

Carmel

Lesssshgoooo 🔥🔥🔥

wyatt

The beat of Like That has its roots in the sampling and use of two Three Six Mafia songs, which may sample earlier stuff. But Metro is drawing on his southern tradition which is what makes it so awesome. Southern hip hop history here. And Kendrick is rapping on it. Some of the hardest southern beats, and the ground of trap music itself. Metro is grounded in that tradition.

Luci Edwards

the background vocals on claustrophobic 😭😭🔥🔥

davidaalves1998

i’m was so hyped to see your reaction to like that, and you didn’t disappoint that shit made my day fr😂🙏🏽

Kim Hayes

yeah.....I need that Cowboy Carter pleaseeeeee! Lol

wyatt

The more I hear Like That, the more I just hear a lamer and less hard version of Three Six’s “Who the Crunkest”. Glad they could recycle a classic sound from much harder southern artists
