I can't remember the last time I didn't enjoy music that was enjoyed by like >1000 people, tbf. I don't get how people don't enjoy popular music or good underground music AT ALL...that's more weird to me than someone who enjoys every project put out by some of the BEST musicians, considering they are successful which is a filter for actual bad music...most of this stuff is professionally engineered and produced, which is already gonna make it sound good compared to someone with a mic in their untreated bedroom rapping over a stolen beat.

That being said, it's relative and I realize I am a huge outlier, I don't know what it feels like find music sounding "bad" that is created by someone with a fanbase...although the worst shit is still music i'd never willfully listen to the worst music I hear even if it's not "bad". At the end of the day, it's philosophically relative what is "good" and "bad" anyways...people just have an obsession with "scientism" and trying to apply "objectivity" and metrics to everything in todays culture, but objectivity ain't even a real thing so... 🤷

Lil Nas X isn’t a musician. He doesn’t write or create his music. And said music isn’t particularly good or interesting. A lot of the recent reacted to music on this channel has been subpar to down right awful and Jon loves it all. Now maybe Jon isn’t a music critic and he’s just listening to music he tends to enjoy but something tells me he doesn’t like this kind of music and he may be being paid to. A lot of the music being reacted to is all hype music that has failed to live up to it but somehow Jon loves everything he listens to.
