OM (DS arc) Ch5: Shameless! (Patreon)

Another month passed since Arthur arrived in the world of Demon Slayer and now it was time to take the girls out of his inventory. Right now he was in his house and it was nighttime outside, and the room was particularly dimly lit.

Before he could take the girls out of his inventory, he needed to test whether the planet was habitual for the humans of HOTD world and Marvel world or not.

And for that, he took out a small contraption from his inventory.

It had the parameters of HOTD world already saved in it to compare with the data acquired from the input sensors. Fortunately, the results were positive, his girlfriends and his soldiers won't die on this planet if he took them out of his inventory.

If the results had come out negative then all the living humans in his inventory would have to stay in there until he could return back to the HOTD world/universe. As he could only open a portal to the HOTD world/universe if he was in the Black Void and asking the penguin to return to the black void without completing the mission was the same as abandoning the mission.

Basically, he can't switch between two verses when on an ongoing mission.

Anyway, after he found out that the Earth of Demon Slayer universe was safe for the girls, he took all three of them out and woke them up.

"Art, in which world are we?", Shizuka yawned as she stretched on the couch.

While Saeko narrowed her eyes on Arthur... even though the light was too dim to see, she couldn't help but notice it. "What's up with your appearance Arthur, it seems like you have regressed to your younger self!"

Saeko couldn't help but giggle.

Shizuka also stared at him and then her eyes widened. "Oh my god, he looks so cute! Just a while ago he had his beard covering all his face and it's all gone adlfjasdofj" She squealed, not able to hold her excitement.

Arthur sighed, it was embarrassing for him to let them see him in this state, he knew it. That's why he lowered the lights so it buys him some time and he slowly reveals that to them but seems like he failed....

"What's up with your eyes Arthur, they're glowing ever so slightly...?" She stood up and walked closer to him, she caressed her palm across his face and neck. Her brows twitched as she noticed another change in him, her nose went closer to his neck, she sniffed. "And you even smell different."

Arthur gave the scowling Saeko an apologetic smile as he gestured for her to sit down with the other girls.

Sighing he took out a chair for himself in front of the girl's couch to sit on.

"To answer Shizuka's query first, we are in the Demon Slayer world. But more importantly, you three don't feel weird right? This is a different world! Take a few breaths."

In the past, he had told a few things related to his mission in this world and the story of Demon Slayer world. It also served as a good bedtime story of sorts for the girls. 

Oh, Rika had also decided to join them, even though she wasn't one of his girlfriends because she was worried about her friend, Shizuka, or at least that's what she said.

Anyway, the girls didn't feel anything off about the atmosphere.

"It doesn't even feel like we've switched between planets," Rika muttered.

Well, they should be feeling that change as even though pretty low, the gravity of this world was in fact slightly greater than that of the New Earth. But for some reason, they were feeling fine...

'Maybe another feature of my Inventory.'

Well, it was something that didn't matter right now, so Arthur will just keep this observation in the back of his mind for now.

"Girls," Arthur sighed, "This world may seem peaceful and calm on the outside, but you do remember what I've told you about it right?"

"Demons..." Saeko muttered with eyes filled with disdain.

One world after another, it was always these human devouring monstrosities...

Oh, well... finally, after two years of peace, she'll have the opportunity to let loose her sword again.

Arthur nodded, "But it won't be over in a day. The specifics of the mission have been changed... I still need to kill Muzan. But now, even I don't know exactly how long it might take. If I had to guess, then about two to three years I think... And also..." he paused, "I've become a demon too."

Saeko's eyes widened and so did Rika's but Shizuka just tilted her head with a small cute hmm.

"Ah..." Saeko wanted to ask a multitude of questions but her mouth was speechless due to the shock, her composed expression broke completely.

She could never imagine that Arthur would become a human-devouring creature... More so, from his tone, it seemed like he became one of his own free will.

An image of him hungrily devouring the guts of the human he just killed with his claws... An image of him killing children and eating their mothers conjured in her mind.

"Why..." A shaken mutter escaped her mouth.

"Hey, now. Wait wait wait! I know what you're worried about but even though I've become a demon, it's not like I go around killing humans to eat them despite what I told you what they usually do. You see I am a special kind of demon!" Arthur couldn't help but panic seeing Saeko's sad face, he quickly gave her an explanation.

"Special kind? Those upper moons?" Rika snarled accusingly. It seems Shizuka shared the story of Demon Slayer world with Rika, huh. "Don't they kill and eat even more humans than the normal ones, you told us that yourself!"

He glared at Rika to shut her up which made her flinch slightly.

"Look," He sighed, "My genetic constitution was way different than the humans of this world. And that resulted in a complex mutation which is why I am as disgusted and repulsed with the thought of tasting human flesh and blood as any normal human... So, there is no need to worry."

At this Shizuka stood up with a shocked face as if her whole world was taken away from her, tears almost at the brink of falling down from her delicate yellow eyes, "But doesn't that mean you won't be able to have babies with us?"

Arthur smiled helplessly, he went and hugged the blonde woman tightly, "Let's not be too sure about that, maybe the babies will be half demon half human, won't they be just most adorable little half demons?" He caressed Shizuka's head as he gently comforted her.

She was worried that if his genetics have changed then won't be able to reproduce with her or any girls for a matter of fact. But Arthur comforting worked as she nodded a little. "Hmm" She smiled in his embrace.

Rika just rolled her eyes at this, "Anyway, what do you want us to do?"

She was asking why did he take them out of his inventory, in such a dangerous world.

Surely, it was not just so he could fuck Saeko and Shizuka. After all, even though he was a pervert, he did value his mission quite highly and most of all the girls' lives.

"Well, I need some help in this mission." He looked at Shizuka, "Your help."

Shizuka left his embrace and nodded with a seriousness that she displayed very rarely. She needed to listen carefully, she can't afford to mess it up.

"I need you to find the Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho. She lives in butterfly mansion, that's all I know about her location. There, learn everything you can about demons' biology and this world's chemistry, their poisons, and their antidotes, particularly about the constitutions of the Wisteria flowers.

Also, if you're able to, collect Tanjiro's and Nezuko's blood samples. Be discrete about everything and never let anyone know about your origin, understood."

Always giving off a naive and airhead woman's impression, Shizuka won't have trouble gaining their trust. But Arthur didn't need to say that, did he?

Though Shizuka nodded thoughtfully.

Arthur then turned to Rika, "You go along with Shizuka, protect her. I guess this was your purpose for joining us anyway. Also, help Shizuka in whichever way possible in her mission."

Even though Shizuka was smart, mess-ups are inevitable, and that's where Rika would help her. She was once a well-trained and one of the most high-ranking personnel of the government, after all.

He finally looked at Saeko, "Saeko, you're a great swordswoman, I think what I'm telling you to do will be easy for you. I want you to become a Demon Slayer, and keep tabs on Tanjiro's whereabouts."

Even Saeko's task wasn't that necessary, Arthur wanted her to get strong by learning any one of the breathing styles, and joining The Demon slayer corps will help her get experience in the future battles to come with 'real enemies'.

Saeko raised her chin, "It might be not that hard, true. But I wanted to learn The Breath of Water. The same one Tanjiro uses, it'll also help me in keeping an eye on him. But do you think that man will accept me as a student, Uro-Urokidika—"

Arthur chuckled a bit at Saeko's slight mess up, he wasn't making fun of her but he just thought it was cute of her as it was extremely rare for her to make cute mistakes like this.

It was too adorable to see the always serious and stoic girl blush like that. Arthur exhaled, "Anyway, it's Sakonji Urokodaki. And... I might help you with that."

He took out three brown leather bags with steel buckles and a long strap. Its design was simple and quite primitive, it was designed to look of this era.

"These bags contain quite a few useful items in them, a small rifle, a smartphone, a solar charger, and such. 

The bullets are made from the Nichirin swords I stole from some demon slayers. They'll work on humans and demons both just make sure it's a headshot. 

And Don't worry the security installed in it won't let anyone open the compartment where important items are stored and I've made it so that it can return to you even if it's lost or stolen. It has retractable legs, so... well, I might have gone overboard, but anyway..." Arthur showed them the contents.

"Yeah, don't worry. Even though this is an old era you will be able to use the basic functionalities."

This past month was mainly focused on installing the numerous mini-sized ultra-high range towers, after all. With their exceptional range and the number of towers that Arthur has installed, they should cover the whole country. His flight ability came in really handy for this task.

The guns and the smartphone was obviously the most important item among everything in the bag. It also contained notes on hypothetical scenarios and effective ways to deal with them if the need arose.

"They also have your background in this world written in them. Read them whenever you want. Oh, by the way, I have a Japanese alias for this world, it's called Heito. Just so you know, you and I have no connection at all, so if our paths are ever crossed... you know what I mean..."

"We'll be enemies, right?" Rika crossed her arms. Of course, a Demon Slayer and a Demon have only one relation.

Arthur nodded.

After explaining several more important things that they had to keep in their mind, he told Saeko a plan to become Urokodaki's student which was also written in the notes application on the phone.

"I see... so we have to leave before dawn."  Saeko sighed as she watched the outside through the window.

Arthur nodded, "Yes."

"For how many days were we in your inventory anyway, Arthur?" The violet-haired woman asked.

"Not that long, just a couple of months." Arthur went behind her and kissed her nape.

"So we are in for a long night, aren't we?" Shizuka joined the hug from behind Arthur.

And that, a night of passion ensued as Arthur embraced the warmth of his two ladies after two whole months. They were preparing for a long separation... this time though the girls would suffer the pain of not being together too.

Meanwhile, Rika stayed in the lobby downstairs, stuffing her ears with the pillows while blushing crimson and fuming with embarrassment and anger.

"That guy is fucking shameless!"
