Hey hey Patrons!

AND WE ARE BACK IN PERSON WITH THE BOYS Y'ALL!

We wanted a fun damn time and holy hell did we get one with this 1993 SORTA SATIRE, SORTA CLASSIC, BUT DEFINITELY AWESOME TIME, we're rocking Demolition Man!

Still not exactly the straight-up fuck machine that he was in Cobra, we got Sly Stallone who's still got that 80s, I wanna chase Arnie's career brashness that is so fun to watch!

Is this the future that liberals want with AWESOME Simon Pheonix Haircuts as portrayed by the fucking CHARISMA FACTORY THAT IS WESLEY SNIPES?!?!

And how the nauseatingly hamfisted early 90's is Dennis Leary's bit part in this!

But hey, we can't complain too much, we got a lil' Total Recall, a lil' Terminator, and a lot of fucking fun!

Yo i fuckin love this movie, one of my favorite classic action movies

Beowolf Chow

Ho-lee-shit I love this movie. It's such a standout.

Patrick Boyda

It's a good point that this movie posits an outdated "rugged individualist" approach to public morality and justice, and obviously uses intentionally broad strokes...but has the social contract of state administered justice via police proved much better in terms of actions and reception?

Jai Nelson

Taco Bell is de-lish-UUSSSS! Not so sure about rat burgers though.

Re: the intro discussion about Sean watching a clip from The Night Comes For Us and how it gave him a perspective on how Scott “sees” violent action films, I couldn’t agree more. I think the Raid movies are peak action films and the violence in them is done with creativity and purpose. The arts of the fight. In contrast, TNCFU just felt a bit TOO much in an immature kind of way, just “hey lol ultra gory fights YEEET” type vibe.
