Hello there Patrons!

Hope all is well and youse guys are having a swell week!

WE got a start to. a fun lil' arc here with our full The Clone Wars reactions!

We're full-on jumping in with Count Dookie Booty and General Grievous and their super destructive secret weapon ship, The Malevolence!

What the fuck are these crazy space Squid-Whales? THEY ARE SO PRETTY!

We are fairly certain the only way that Grievous can come is when he war crimes.

And we're digging Master Plo more and more in this storyline!

i really found that conversation pre-episode really interesing. a lot of good points brought in tbh. but to morgan's and sean's point, this is one of the things that bother me about star wars and especially about the prequels, and that is that they made the jedi too involved with the goverment of the republic. and idk, i always felt they were cooler in the OT when they were just sort of this other thing and mystical and mysterious and all that. i feel like the prequels kinda messed that up tbh.

To answer Morgan's question at the start about parallels, the 'others' to the Empire were basically everyone that wasn't human. Its kinda why you don't see any aliens on the Empire's side. The empires always just always had this conformist and xenophobic agenda in a universe that essentially celebrates multiculturalism and individualism. Although there's definitely Nazi undertones its like a commentary on imperialism and how miserable and grey life would be if people couldn't express themselves. At least, that's how I always saw it, since every scene with aliens in the OG trilogy was them just in a bar listening to music and having a good time haha

So I noticed you guys sometimes put the title of the episode and sometimes don’t, it’s really helpful when you do since Disney+ has them in release order. I could just Google and save the chronological list and reference it every episode, but I’d rather bug you with it 😁
