Hey hey Patrons!

And

HO-

LY

SHIT!

We finally get our big reveal and easily one of the tense and ICONIC scenes that we've ever watched.

Yall know what we're talking about!

What we thought might have been a touch of a tired procedural recap type of episode, we get one of the strongest twists in the show thus far!

We have a fucking field day with our post-ep discussion and we are in love with this episode!

Follow the exclusive clip to hang!

I’m glad you guys are getting the “hmm maybe these subs are a bit weird…” experience that every anime fan has to go through at last once 😂

Faeginn

Annie saying Armin in the most unnecessary way, relax girl

Michelle

lol i actually kinda like the edgy subtitles tho. and besides they are quite accurate, just with a bit more swears. i hope you do the whole series with edgy subtitles lol. it gives yalls coverage of Attack on Titan a unique flair.

Alejandro Gil

This is such a greatly paced episode

NB

I want more AoT reactions from you. 😭

Mitchell Blomquist

I never even considered it could be the lightning strike that initiated the titan transformation. That is such a cool read on something I always took for granted in this show.

Mikasa

Great reactions! LOL Annie's ring is the goat lmao

Antonio

I wish you guys did 2 Aot eps a week :( atleast for patreon. love the videos anyway 👍🏽

I always hate when people comment this, like they don’t take into account what it takes to produce our stuff…… but be careful what you wish for ;)

Lightning has no connection regarding the titan transformation. The purpose was to simply prevent Annie's transformation like trap her

edgard

Y'all deserve the filthier subtitles.

Ci-Ci

I was so excited for this episode! Glad you guys liked it :) One of the first of many even bigger twists. This show does a good job of giving you just enough info and keeping you in the dark at the same time. Side note: I always took Annie not going in the tunnel as she would be stuck if she transformed in tunnels and trapped. Kinda like when they had Eren transform in the well when they were practicing with his abilities.

the editing for the youtube video is top notch, I recon that takes time along with all the other shows you're watching. Love your videos, didn't expect you to get emotional like u did last episode :) keep it up!

Brimmy

She needed Eren alive, if she goes down into an enclosed space her transforming could of killed him

Yeah but I noticed in some cases, where the subtitles being different would cause some confusion in the story later on. Funimation or Crunchyroll would be the best services to use.

Dancing Viru

I always took the operation "lead her underground" as a preemptive measure regarding sunlight they touched on in an earlier episode, the lightning strike never occurred to me :O

Sure. I realized that later, but just a thread of the mechanics of why she didn’t wanna go down that jumped into my brain that struck me as interesting.

Jordan Feeg

Thanks for the awesome reaction and commentary as always! Cheers!

Mitchell Blomquist

If anything it's more a miss on the creators for making a bolt of lightning literally striking a human being and transforming them into a crazy monstrous humanoid creature mean nothing. I liked the idea that it was the lightning. Very Orson Welles.

yes!! since i'm a patreon I barely watch the youtube videos anymore, but every once in a while i check them out and they're amazing

Cyan_SkyTortoise

Crap I’m all caught up now! Time to move on to Arcane I suppose. Another fantastic show I don’t mind rewatching 😁👍

Ah that makes sense. The same cannot be said for Annie, if anything they probably wanted her dead. Unless they wanted to try and interrogate her🤔 Hanji would’ve obviously liked to dissect her lol
