Hey hey Patrons!

WE ARE BACK BUT TAKING A VERY SHORT BUT NECESSARY DETOUR INTO AoT OVA LAND!

As guided by the sure and steady programming hand of Abe The Editor, he has suggested that after the JUGGERNAUGHT What the FUCKERY of S2E1 we needed to rock a couple of these OVAs!

We think it was a great move, cause watching it here gives a lot of context clues for Ymir, the Titan's speech, but we still got to preserve that just HOLY SHIT THEY CAN TALK moment for S2's premiere!

This is an insane episode, one of our favorites!

Is Isle's like AoT's James Comey of this world, taking notes every time she had a crazy conversation with a TITAN!?!?

Who is this Ymir!??!

And how nice is this little Titan, giving Isle's a Tree Vagina Grave!??!

Nice! Glad you guys checked the OVAs. And yeah, OVA is basically like a special episode usually aired between seasons to keep fan interest. All of these also came out between season 1 and 2 airing I believe. A couple more followed up between season 2 and 3.

Michelle

And it's "Original Video Animation" because these kinds of episodes are created just for the anime, they're not adapting the manga here. Or usually that's how it goes.

Isle's Notebook is a special manga chapter. Though you are right about most of the other OVAs

Tope

Woohoo! Excited for the two-a-weeks. I’m sure y’all are going to enjoy No Regrets. Especially since Morgan has been harping on underground cities for a while.

Alejandro Gil

It was a great idea to watch these OVAs right now. This and no regrets sets up some stuff really well

yeah i believe the levi OVAs also adapt a spinoff manga but yeah usually its anime original content. or at least based on not main content. lost girls i believe adapts some novels i think.

Brimmy

yeah the OVA's or hell even the Specials for most anime come out \after\ the anime is done so if ur like me and are watching the older anime ur not gonna remember there's more content for that anime when ur done, ur just gonna put it as completed and go onto the next anime it wasn't even till reactors started watching the OVA's for AOT did i actually watch the OVA's XD (literally 2021 i watched aot weekly from season 1 as it was airing!! i am a terrible anime watcher XD)

Andrew Pittman

The guy who wrote this show would sometimes draw titans to look like certain actors or celebrities.

There is a manga for lost girls but yams didn't write or draw it he just gave them the ok on the content

Di

You guys were right about the whole tree burial thing. So it seems like that titan was trying to resist the urge to kill Ilse. Killed her and payed it respects afterwards.
