Hey everyone!

I'm bringing you something a little different this time!LINK-https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zggxrjaqxBhR-9grJIA97uos7ujDTfra?usp=sharing

This is a short video I made with the help of local AI tools and A LOT of editing.

As you all know, we've been seeing more and more AI tools emerging to assist with creative production. And lately, I've been absolutely fascinated by AI video generation, especially when it comes to bringing my own drawings to life!

I know this can be a sensitive topic for many people, and I want to make it clear that my intention here is not to offend anyone or undermine anybody's work. Human creativity and craftsmanship will always have their own value.

What I've done here is purely for fun. And if some of you happen to enjoy it too, then that's even better!

The process actually goes WAY beyond simply typing a prompt and hitting generate.

There are several layers of human work involved. For starters, I need to manually create all the keyframes so the AI can interpolate between them.

The AI itself can only generate 5-second clips, so all the cuts and transitions have to be edited manually.

Every single sound effect, SFX, action line, heart, fluid effect, and visual detail was manually timed and placed on the timeline.

I also made extensive use of DaVinci Resolve's editing tools: speed ramps, masks, green screen removal, color correction (because AI color drift can be ABSOLUTELY INSANE), and much more.

And let's not forget all the time spent learning how to use ComfyUI and DaVinci Resolve. Sometimes it feels like I'm trying to pilot a freaking UFO. XD

Anyway, the result isn't perfect, but I'm pretty happy with it! Compared to my first animation loops, I think there's been a huge improvement.

Sorry for the long post! I just wanted to give you a little disclaimer about what I'm planning to introduce into my future work.

Of course, illustrations will always remain the main focus of this page. But every now and then, you can expect more videos like this one!

So, what do you guys think of the result?

I threw pretty much all my skills at this one, and I really hope you enjoy it!

Is there any older artwork you'd like to see brought to life in this style?

Once again, thank you so much for all your support. It really means a lot!

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! ❤️
