Portrait study of Steinberg in side view (Patreon)

Hi dear friends 👋. I hope you’re all having a good time.

So this is this week’s drawing session and as you can see it’s the same model from the last video. Sometime drawing the same reference many times is actually helpful in improving your drawing skills as you get familiar with the facial features which makes it easier to capture the more you draw it. You will also spot mistakes when you compare your recent and previous attempts.

Honestly, I struggled with the both Angles especially the second one with the head tilted downward. I had neck pain after I had finished the drawing 😁. But sometime it’s good to challenge oneself. I might be going a little more extreme in my next drawing session, trying out foreshortened heads in perspective.

Talking about perspective, I have recently been practicing some cars and motorcycle drawing exercises. I will share the sketches here from time to time to let you see my work.

Thank you so much for your support ❤️
