Hi everyone! I hope you’re al doing well. This is a little portrait study I made using the Reilly method and I thought it would be useful for you as well.

I will upload the part 2 where I explain how to shade.

I guess you’re already familiar with the reference photo. Drawing the same reference photo twice or more helps improve.

Head study using a combination of the loomis and reilly method

This exercise allows to better establish the basic proportions of the head using the loomis approach, and then properly understand the structure of the face and features using the rhythms of the reilly methods. In part 2 I will show you how to build the shading around the layin.
