Now that is a really cool reference, that I'm sure old Walt would find hilarious! And if I know Venus, I'm pretty sure she checked out that mammoth to see if it was anatomically correct....maybe that's why she was there to begin with! XD

Venus found that the mammoth was smaller than me down there, LOL. The quoted line from Song of Myself is in the next to last part of the epic poem by Walt. I tried to go through it quickly to find the line, but I found myself lingering over the whole damn thing. It's heady stuff, it just reels you in, it makes you want to play patriotic songs on a loop. It's both transgressive and respectful, pyrotechnic and subtle. And yes, I think Walt would have liked the boob joke.
