When I saw the reconstructed fashions created by Dr. Bernice Jones of Minoan women's clothing, with their large, heavy breasts fully exposed, I knew I HAD to draw them! The above woman is based on a 3000 year old mural from ancient Minoa (Crete). It depicts a woman with heavy hangers leaning forward to pick up some fabric. While not a perfect society, at least they got some things right!

How stylish and beautiful they were!

Gorgeous as always. I really have to give you props for your composition. You never disappoint in how you frame your pictures, and this one in particular really grabs me. The sun framing her head and the shaky border really gives it a feel like a fresco unearthed in Pompeii or something.

Awesome work on this depiction of ancient history. I saw a piece of Minoan pottery with the phrase, "Let them puppies breathe!" I'm paraphrasing, since the phrase was in an obscure rural dialect.

Thank you! That's what I was hoping for. I saw her suddenly uplifted by a breeze from the ocean. :)
